As per previous stays the hotel and rooms are clean, quiet and well maintained with well appointed furnishings that represent the Fairfield brand of quality well. As Bonvoy Platinum members we were upgraded one level to a room with a couch – Staffs are friendly and over the top helpful! Our only problem was with the bulk shampoo dispenser in the tub / shower which did not work and the dispenser plunger was stuck down in the new bottle and not checked for operation by the house cleaning staffs – As well the shower gel soap dispenser was empty. Unfortunately, since Marriott has dispensed with the small bottles of shampoo and conditioner in an environmentally friendly approach to “saving the planet”, we have encountered numerous issues with supply and functional dispensers in numerous Marriott properties. While the hotel is not totally at fault, Marriott corporate needs to sort out sending properties supply that works and housekeeping should be required to verify that “environmentally friendly products” have sufficient supply and are in working order each day! We would not hesitate to return on our next visit to the area!…
Fairfield Inn Watertown ranged No 1 which was the reason I booked this hotel. As soon as we checked into our room, we found the closet door was broken. Called front desk and was told maintenance was already out of work, he will check it tomorrow. My husband and son ended up fixing it themselves. Although it is at quiet location, you could hear traffic pass by. Mattress’s springs are either too old or too weak, squeeze when you move around. FYI. We are not over 130 lbs. Breakfast was well above complimentary breakfast standard. Lots of options, even for vegetarian and Togo. Overalls, it worths what we paid for.
Third stop on out tour, the FI Watertown was a great place to spend a couple of nights. Reception were smooth. and friendly, room was large with a comfortable sofa and a king bed, as usual the bed provided a great sleep. Bathroom was mid size and had a shower over bath, rather than an upgraded walk-in. It also had the shower curtain! Both bathroom, bedroom and their furnishings were in good condition and unmarked. Breakfast was typical FI and provided a good start to the day and could not be faulted Hotel is in a great location that is quiet and serviced by many places to eat. Overall, a great place to stay
We came for a wedding. Property is well maintained. The location has plenty of parking. Restaurants are nearby. Rooms are clean. Housekeeping needs to be requested. Housekeeping is very friendly and will bring extra towels if needed. Breakfast consists of eggs, bacon, toast and cereals. There is a fridge in the room. Britney from the front desk is pleasant and kind. We had a wonderful time!
It's a nice hotel conveniently located near I-81 some 40-minutes from the Canadian border. Good size room, well kept, clean, quiet, The staff are courteous and helpful. Breakfast was ok, Fairfield style.
This hotel has been very well maintained. Rooms are up to date, décor is pretty cool, hallways are wide and location is great. My only negative comment is that the front desk staff could not have been more disengaged.
This is a nice property located off of the beaten path just a bit. You are very close in, but not on top of any busy streets. The rooms are clean and the breakfast adequate. The lobby area is nice and we really liked the booths for the breakfast area.
room 222 was close to the elevator and pretty quiet until one morning we had a a younge child screaming up and down the hall way. Dad kept yelling to stop but with no discipline he made it worse. The staf f was great and and friendly. Coffe in the lobby eavery day at 6.
We stayed in Fairfield Watertown while visiting Thousand Islands, as most hotels in Alexandria Bay were either fully booked or very expensive. It was very good value, and short drive to the TI attractions. Being a Marriott Elite member, we were upgraded to a nice suite, that was clean and nice, and commensurate with the expected Marriott standard. The hotel has ample free parking, and located a few minutes from the Watertown Center. Breakfast was included as part of the rate, with appropriate Covid social distancing. Overall, it was a good and safe place to stay, and good value considering the rates during the holiday weekend.
Very clean, updated room. We were on the 3rd floor and it was pretty quiet. Since Covid has prevented all hot breakfasts, the choices of the continental breakfast were good. Towels were thick and the beds were very comfortable.
