This is a very adequate 3 star hotel in a beautiful position. Beach is perfect and snorkelling around the rocks on either side of the bay is rewarding. Staff are friendly and helpful. The food was disappointing – very limited choice and relatively expensive. Luckily there are a number of good, affordable restaurants within a short drive. As with all...

Seychelles was the last stop in our 2 week vacation around Africa. We were looking forward to relaxing and enjoying the beautiful beach...and that we did! When we were on our way from the airport to the hotel, I hated the buildings and I wasn't impressed with the streets at all. When we arrived at the hotel, the setting was...

What a beautiful location.. can see why it is known as the honeymooners location. Friendly staff but let down by exorbitant bar prices so people didn't stay around resulting in no atmosphere or socialising in the bar area, however hard the staff tried. Guests were keen to purchase their drinks from local stores (on arrival) and return to their rooms...

On arrival to our room, the door would not open, and assistance was required to replace the lock. Our first evening as we were half board we ate in the restaurant and was horrified by the cost. After that we ate our evening meal in the bar just before it closed which if I remember was 6.00pm. Also we went...

Stayed here for a week at the start of our holidays. We did not know what to expect from the Seychelles, and we were disappointed with the level of service. As we explored Mahe and other Islands, this is teh norm for the Seychelles. It is not right, but you have to accept it or it will spoil your holiday....

Have stayed in Seychelles before and in a number of Hotels. Sunset Beach has been the best particularly in the mid price range hotels. The location is beautiful. Dont expect any nightlife here. Staff were very friendly. We stayed on B & B as we were quoted 50 euros each for evening meal, however if you wish to eat at...

We had a two week honemoon here and it was fantastic! Small hotel about 29 rooms so not a sprawling busy place which we loved! Our roon was right on the beach front so only about 10 paces to the sand! The staff were very friendly and helpful with local knowledge, the rooms were lovely and spotlessly clean with room...

We arrived at Sunset Beach after a long flight from London. Everything was perfect. We were greeted with a refreshing fruit cocktail and a cool towel. After the formality of paperwork, we were shown to our room. As we were on our honeymoon, they had kindly upgraded our first night to the Ocean Villa - this was almost a 2...

We loved this hotel- beautiful surroundings, lovely staff, but food was too expensive for the standard provided. We did not find any restaurants in Mahe where we would return to. Our tour operator was Kuoni who were excellent, but we were very disappointed with the trip we went on. I walk with a stick,so we asked the agent several times...
