Homely abode. If your looking for 5 star comfort its not for you. But if you want laid back comfortable, intermittency, family atmosphere you would find it hard to beat. Food cooked to die for . Steak night is wow . lobster thermidore sublime. Well worth rushing back to from anywhere on the island Not to miss. Situated at the...

We stayed at Lazare Lodge for three nights in April '14. It was the hot and humid season but thanks to ventilator in our room we had a very good sleep. There was no noise around the Lodge and since we were the only guests and slept in the downstairs room we didn't have trouble hearing anybody. The clean pool...

Spent most of our Seychelles holiday on La Digue but needed one night in Mahe for early flight so found this guest house by internet. It is a quirky eco lodge looking like an old colonial house veranda'ed all round built into the hillside in very leafy environment. The drive is not for the faint hearted driver or under powered...

I've been in the Seychelles 3 times in 6 years and stayed twice at the Lazare Lodge. I won't write about the hotel here but more about the restaurant and about Charles, the owner. I have eaten at the Lazare Lodge and in many restaurants in the Seychelles more than a couple of times so I can write without any...

If you do like quiet places, luxuriant vegetation, wooden houses, this place is for you. Very nicely welcomed by the owners, Charles and Anne-Lise. Very relaxing, most beautiful beaches of Mahé around. if you do plan to visit the island, renting a car is highly recommended. I did enjoy this place very much, and enjoyed our discussions whith owners in...

What to say about this magnificent place and the great cordiality of its owners. My husband and me stayed there this August 2011, we were really satisfied with everything (location, food, room, rates, etc) and if one day we return to Seychelles we will come here again. The lodge itself is a bit separate of everything, exactly like they show...

The picture of the hotel shown in the website and advertisement looks really nice. An elegant timber structure perched on the hillside with excellent view. Even when me and my boyfriend reached the lodge, it looked promising indeed. According to the owner, the entire structure is made up of south african wood and also assembled there which later is shipped...

This hotel is built all from wood. There is a reception/bar area with left and right 2 rooms all opening onto the communal balcony where dinner is served. The rooms have their door onto this balcony leaving the guests no place to sit in privacy. Walls are thin. Under this area is the bridal suite. This is just a normal...
