The catering is excellent, never twice the same thing, fresh produce, lots of very well cooked fish.
Heated swimming pool, bar and drinks at the top too.
Room large enough and bedding good. Small negative points: we hear the noise from the restaurants and the city center right next door depending on where we are staying and also the lack of terrace for the rooms.
Very well located on the beach with direct access with quite a few deckchairs around the swimming pool and on the beach and direct access to the town of Saly and its shops.
Hoping to be able to return soon.
Thanks also to the top Marmara entertainment team!

nothing to say about this hotel, the staff is very friendly and caring, we eat well and varied you really have to be difficult not to find your happiness, we stayed 9 days and we could eat differently every day😉 thanks to the surface technician for the cleanliness of our rooms, thanks to this great entertainment team (kylian, sleep, ocean, Tony, polo, renzo, zal, mama .....) without them nothing would have been the same😉 thanks also to the shadowy staff (night guard for security, we often forget them and yet they do a great job both during the day and at night) I think of Henry who was our favorite.. if we had to return to Senegal it is without hesitation that we will return to this hotel.
The only negative point is the noise of the mosque at 5:00 am but you get used to it quickly and the noise of discos but nothing to have with the hotel c is because it is in town.

The rooms on the Filaos side are larger than those on the Saly side, if you don't want to be too exposed to the noise of the disco outside the hotel, it's better to choose Saly, provided you're lucky and find an available place, or put the TV on while sleeping!! That said, it's a club, we're also here to have fun......
The animations are correct, without being great shows, but there are always games and activities to ensure a good atmosphere. The pools are very nice: Saly calm, Filaos animation. You can enjoy the facilities of both hotels. The beach: it is almost impossible to find a place, because the deckchairs are booked very early by the people who put their towels down, we were able to enjoy it only once, too bad you have to plan more deckchairs.....
This is a good Marmara club.
Hotel was 98% occupied by French-speaking guests, except we were a German couple with grandchildren on site:
Animation was in French, all menus and notices were in French;
To call our room very simple is already an upgrade; the toilet, for example, was a 75 cm wide hose with an unattached toilet;
overall the room is in need of renovation;
the food offered a good choice, however, any meat was "dead cooked" and thus very dry, the vegetables were very soft;
the waiters and other staff do their job, but without any passion, you almost get the impression that the job is a punishment....
The staff at the bar are very busy with themselves, guests sometimes have to wait, even if there is nothing to do...
the glasses and cups at the bar were very often not completely clean;
Beach is ok, clean and fine sandy, the sea is murky and cold, bathing shoes sinf recommended, as a lot of shells and shell residue in the beachfront area;
left and right in sight on the beach are two sewer pipes coming from the hotel complexes...
for the bath towels is a deposit of 10 euros each, towels can be changed twice a week (if there are any)....
by and large not worth the money, we will never come back!
Even if we didn’t benefit much, the beach was monitored and cleaned every day.
We have made several visits with Senegal Excursions and these will have been a success in every respect with beautiful encounters combining authenticity and knowledge of the history of emblematic places of Senegal.
Many emotions between joy for the Bandia reserve, sadness and respect for the island of Gorée, admiration for the knowledge to live together for the island of shellfish.
We recommend this local agency very professional.
The positive points: The quality of the rooms meets the expectations of a 4* in Africa. It's very simple but the bedding is comfortable. Be careful though because some rooms near the village are extremely noisy, the group from a nightclub restaurant is formidable! The hotel staff is friendly, there is a good quality of service and the entertainment team is dynamic and very friendly.
The major negative points:
- the quality and diversity of the food. Here we are very, very far from expectations, both for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
- the swimming pool is unsuitable for the hotel's occupancy and we very often had the feeling of a crowded municipal swimming pool.
- the beach is very dirty.
- the all inclusive is not up to standard either, the quality of the drinks offered is more than mediocre, there is no snack, the afternoon snack is limited to cake and the aperitif to Low-end kibble.
We knew that we were leaving in the low season and despite everything the climate was acceptable with some rain but overall the 2 weeks were sunny.
Concerning the environment of the hotel, the fishing village is very pleasant and we met some great people there even if "working" the tourist is a local sport. I unreservedly recommend the services of BAMBA and ABDOULAYE who were able to provide us with magnificent excursions at reasonable prices.
The stay at FILAOS will remain disappointing in the end, largely due to the mediocrity of the food.

The spacious and comfortable rooms. On the other hand, some nights are difficult to sleep before dawn because you hear the music from the disco outside the resort. And it is unfortunate that drinks from the bar are never cold, hot beer is undrinkable. It is a shame that there is no draft beer, only served in bottles by the glass. The refrigerators can't refresh the beer delivered daily by crates in the late morning. The Chef’s rest days are noticeable, the dishes are not very hot, and the presentation leaves much to be desired. Meals, however, remain generally correct.
The excursions offered by the hotel are nice, but the price is high. Guides from outside, like PICASSO, are great, and charge lower rates and make you discover Senegal with the heart.

Rooms were very clean and towels changed every day if necessary.
We thank our representative VOYAMAR Mr Bouba Sadji who was present every day at the hotel to check on us and who offered us excellent excursions to discover Senegal.
There is a black spot and this concerns the sharing of deckchairs on the beach and pool. Everything is taken before 9am by people whose presence will not be seen during the day. You have to think of other people who paid for their stay like them and want to enjoy the beach and the pool.
A thank you to ALL STAFF for their competence, availability and kindness.
