positive points:
Senegal! (5h30 flight, no jet lag, nice and francophone population, 25° more than in France = nothing equivalent in winter!))
- Good reception at the reception, decent and clean rooms, bedding OK, air conditioning ok, bathroom small but good shower, small balcony sea view, safe, fridge, TV with canal + sport and French channels ..
-Beautiful beach, easy swimming, deckchairs and paillote in sufficient number, swimming pools OK..
-Gloria, FRAM representative always available and ready to solve your problems with a smile!
negative points:
-The food seemed to us to be down (it remains correct however) as if we had restricted the credits to the chef (reputed excellent) correct wines, light beer ..
-At breakfast it is unacceptable, at this price level, to offer an "orange juice" which is only colored sweet water with a flavor evoking the sour candy!
-The seminars, many and noisy...
-Bars; not their adorable staff, but what is served (too sweet cocktails with diluted fruit juices, infamous local alcohol all brand "the old", in fact pure alcohol flavored gin whiskey rum or vodka .Only the Pastis is correct..
Internet and wifi totally inoperative and never repaired.
-Small maintenance very cool (3 days to change a defective reader)
Some tips:
-Best rooms with balcony facing small pool on the left looking out to sea, ex:326 to 330, far from the bar and Teranga room where seminars organize their evenings Boom Boom
-Okay you are all inclusive but it is Africa and the small staff earns between 150 and 180 € / month .. plan a small budget (ex 40 € for 2 weeks that you convert into tickets of 1000 and 2000 CFA, i.e. 1.5 € and 3 €) a small ticket to the waitress of the restaurant and you will have your tea in a den, your table with your favorite drink in an ice bucket lunch and evening!
-You will meet regulars (rather old) who sometimes stay several weeks. Do not hesitate to start the conversation, the atmosphere is not snobbish at all... and you will learn a lot (how to go fishing, take a catamaran ride, find petanque partners etc...)
We liked it....

Stayed from 23/09 to 4/10, 6 days sick food + tourista and hepatitis A... anyway I do not recommend this Pension the formula is not named... well too bad.
Positive points: proximity to the center of Sally 400 m, magnificent beach after the installation of stone dikes to slow down marine erosion possibility of swimming in the lagoon thus created even for non-swimmers. Varied and good quality catering. FRAM representative Gloria very good, do not hesitate to use her services, the rest of the FRAM team is transparent.
Negative points: some of the staff do not know what the word terranga means; dismal reception at reception, bars, restaurant La Paillotte, restaurant room worse than a cafeteria, noisy especially on weekends, fortunately there is a limited but quieter outdoor space.
For the rooms we had a junior suite, not worth the price difference, the rooms with balcony are a bit small, we visited one for a possible stay.
In conclusion, you like swimming in the sea, eating properly, go there with your eyes closed, otherwise move on.

Room: corresponds to the price that was paid, very comfortable mattress, a problem with the safe which was resolved 5 minutes after reporting it.
The meals: there was something for all tastes for those who wanted to discover new flavors were served and those who wanted to stick with dishes they know had plenty to do.
Entertainment: entertainer present the times we were at the hotel.
Outside: 2 swimming pools, one large and one small, with the beach at the foot of the hotel, you couldn't do better!!!!
The only downside was the animals at night but hey Fram has nothing to do with it!!!!
I recommend it to everyone except people who don't want to immerse themselves in the country and who think they can afford to be disrespectful to the staff, whoever they may be!!!!

We loved our stay. The hotel is clean, well renovated and on a human scale. The only downside is that there is no air conditioning in the common areas, but it is nevertheless present in the rooms. The rooms are large and very decent.
The restaurant is good. The food is not very varied but they serve very good African dishes every lunchtime.
During this low season, the hotel was not full, except on weekends when locals come to spend a few days, giving a little life to the hotel. There is also little entertainment during this period, especially during the evenings which are rather calm. A big thank you to Jules and Ibrahim who are the two entertainers who clearly stand out from the crowd, very kind and gracious with customers, and who offer activities throughout the day.
The hotel enjoys an ideal location: 200m from the center of Saly where there are places to go out as well as shops, and the craft market to do some souvenir shopping. The hotel overlooks the beach which is also very nice.
In terms of excursions, we highly recommend the bandia reserve and the lion reserve. The island of Gorée is also a must. However, we advise you not to combine it with the visit to Dakar since the city visit is only done by bus, and you will find yourself stuck in traffic jams and return to the hotel very late.
We have not tested the SPA, but have heard only good feedback.
In conclusion, we were delighted with our stay at Palm Beach.

This club was renovated a few years ago but already traces of humidity in the rooms, particularly in the bathroom without VMC. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. We were unlucky because we had air conditioning problems in ours. However, the friends with us had no problem with theirs.
The swimming pools and green spaces are very well maintained. The staff is attentive and available. The big strong point of this club is the varied and very good restaurant.
However, we point out a lack of deckchairs on the beach and swimming pool side compared to the capacities of the club hotel.
The second black point is the fact that 75% of the clientele is regular and resides almost year-round in the hotel and that they have free passes and privileges that other vacationers cannot have even in an all-inclusive ( do not wait for their turn at the bar, deckchairs reserved for 6 hours by the staff, table reserved, participation in games, etc.). As this clientele is elderly, the entertainment is intended for them (music, quizzes, etc.) if you are under 50 we will not feel out of place. We do not recommend it if you like clubs that are dynamic and lively for a young clientele.
Last area of improvement is the wifi which is mediocre throughout the establishment.

Hotel close to small shops where you get harassed to buy.
With a little luck you will see the monitor lizard wandering around the gardens.
The hotel offers a wide choice of excursions.

A big congratulations to the animators who do what they can with very few resources (awa,, ibrahima, Hassan, special congratulations to Antoine for his choreographies)
The negative sides: the beach is clean but not in the water, impossible to go 3 meters without falling on plastic bags
It’s a hotel where there are almost only regulars and those over 65, so there are a lot of differences in terms of service.
The cocktails are not great and rarely fresh
In my personal opinion the activities offered are more worthy of a campsite than an all inclusive: darts beach volleyball karaoke pétanque lotto bingo and aperitif games with absolutely nothing to win not even a cocktail
No show with external speakers apart from a troupe with djembe and the show of the entertainers which thanks to Antoine allowed us to have a good evening
And remember to have euros because there is a deposit of €20 per beach towel
And on the day of departure you have to leave the room at noon (that's normal) however to take the shower we either provide you with a room (that's cool) or it's at the spa but in this case no towel 🤨
