The Palm Beach Resort & Spa is celebrated for its inviting atmosphere, with a local-style design and a pleasant general ambiance that guests appreciate. Reviewers often commend the comfortable and modern rooms, despite some experiencing connectivity issues and cleaning hiccups. The staff's kindness and professionalism stand out, contributing to the hotel's reputation for good value. While the range of amenities, including pools and beach access, is popular, availability of beach chairs sometimes falls short. The prime beachfront location is a highlight, offering easy access to nearby attractions.

2nd stay at Palm Beach (November 2024 and February 2025).
positive points:
Senegal! (5h30 flight, no jet lag, nice and francophone population, 25° more than in France = nothing equivalent in winter!))
- Good reception at the reception, decent and clean rooms, bedding OK, air conditioning ok, bathroom small but good shower, small balcony sea view, safe, fridge, TV with canal + sport and French channels ..
-Beautiful beach, easy swimming, deckchairs and paillote in sufficient number, swimming pools OK..
-Gloria, FRAM representative always available and ready to solve your problems with a smile!
negative points:
-The food seemed to us to be down (it remains correct however) as if we had restricted the credits to the chef (reputed excellent) correct wines, light beer ..
-At breakfast it is unacceptable, at this price level, to offer an "orange juice" which is only colored sweet water with a flavor evoking the sour candy!
-The seminars, many and noisy...
-Bars; not their adorable staff, but what is served (too sweet cocktails with diluted fruit juices, infamous local alcohol all brand "the old", in fact pure alcohol flavored gin whiskey rum or vodka .Only the Pastis is correct..
Internet and wifi totally inoperative and never repaired.
-Small maintenance very cool (3 days to change a defective reader)
Some tips:
-Best rooms with balcony facing small pool on the left looking out to sea, ex:326 to 330, far from the bar and Teranga room where seminars organize their evenings Boom Boom
-Okay you are all inclusive but it is Africa and the small staff earns between 150 and 180 € / month .. plan a small budget (ex 40 € for 2 weeks that you convert into tickets of 1000 and 2000 CFA, i.e. 1.5 € and 3 €) a small ticket to the waitress of the restaurant and you will have your tea in a den, your table with your favorite drink in an ice bucket lunch and evening!
-You will meet regulars (rather old) who sometimes stay several weeks. Do not hesitate to start the conversation, the atmosphere is not snobbish at all... and you will learn a lot (how to go fishing, take a catamaran ride, find petanque partners etc...)
We liked it....

Pension 4* well maintained, very clean, comfortable and spacious room with balcony overlooking pool and sea. Restaurant advertised 2, available 1 only but it depends for who... , not varied, not appetizing, not very fresh at dessert level... very disappointed with the quality of the dishes. However the staff is very friendly, helpful but unfortunately exploited... the other restaurant opens for seminars very present and very confusing... 2 evenings with a brothel until 3am where the Inn staff says nothing... clean pools, well maintained... non-existent entertainment! Apart from an aperitif, an aquagym that is not and pétanque! Evening not varied or even non-existent too, and when there is a show a hat turns to give your contribution! Formula all in clusive!! Not even the lion man for the Senegalese party asks you for a ticket for a photo with him! The beach and deckchair very friendly but not quiet because impossible to swim without being constantly accosted to buy bracelets, pareos dresses... it becomes tiring by force.... Excursions are organized by the Inn but 2 existing crates! One in the drawer and one in the organizer’s pocket... the exit to the reserve of bandia + the lions 87,50 € and when you are on site, (vehicle of 9 seats in height + driver and passenger below) you are asked to leave a place at the Guide for comments on the places at height and one of the tourists must leave his place against another in the vehicle below or there he can not enjoy the Guide... unacceptable!
Stayed from 23/09 to 4/10, 6 days sick food + tourista and hepatitis A... anyway I do not recommend this Pension the formula is not named... well too bad.

We have been going to Senegal for 40 years, first time at Palm Beach, following the closure of the Almadies Club Med, very good; the closure of the Nianing area very good, then Baobab Horizon club good, but quality of food declining and swimming dangerous for people of a certain age (72 years old).
Positive points: proximity to the center of Sally 400 m, magnificent beach after the installation of stone dikes to slow down marine erosion possibility of swimming in the lagoon thus created even for non-swimmers. Varied and good quality catering. FRAM representative Gloria very good, do not hesitate to use her services, the rest of the FRAM team is transparent.
Negative points: some of the staff do not know what the word terranga means; dismal reception at reception, bars, restaurant La Paillotte, restaurant room worse than a cafeteria, noisy especially on weekends, fortunately there is a limited but quieter outdoor space.
For the rooms we had a junior suite, not worth the price difference, the rooms with balcony are a bit small, we visited one for a possible stay.
In conclusion, you like swimming in the sea, eating properly, go there with your eyes closed, otherwise move on.

Great stay. Staff who bend over backwards to please you. Listening, always smiling despite some "disrespectful" customers.
Room: corresponds to the price that was paid, very comfortable mattress, a problem with the safe which was resolved 5 minutes after reporting it.
The meals: there was something for all tastes for those who wanted to discover new flavors were served and those who wanted to stick with dishes they know had plenty to do.
Entertainment: entertainer present the times we were at the hotel.
Outside: 2 swimming pools, one large and one small, with the beach at the foot of the hotel, you couldn't do better!!!!
The only downside was the animals at night but hey Fram has nothing to do with it!!!!
I recommend it to everyone except people who don't want to immerse themselves in the country and who think they can afford to be disrespectful to the staff, whoever they may be!!!!

We returned from an 8-day stay at Palm Beach Saly with a friend.
We loved our stay. The hotel is clean, well renovated and on a human scale. The only downside is that there is no air conditioning in the common areas, but it is nevertheless present in the rooms. The rooms are large and very decent.
The restaurant is good. The food is not very varied but they serve very good African dishes every lunchtime.
During this low season, the hotel was not full, except on weekends when locals come to spend a few days, giving a little life to the hotel. There is also little entertainment during this period, especially during the evenings which are rather calm. A big thank you to Jules and Ibrahim who are the two entertainers who clearly stand out from the crowd, very kind and gracious with customers, and who offer activities throughout the day.
The hotel enjoys an ideal location: 200m from the center of Saly where there are places to go out as well as shops, and the craft market to do some souvenir shopping. The hotel overlooks the beach which is also very nice.
In terms of excursions, we highly recommend the bandia reserve and the lion reserve. The island of Gorée is also a must. However, we advise you not to combine it with the visit to Dakar since the city visit is only done by bus, and you will find yourself stuck in traffic jams and return to the hotel very late.
We have not tested the SPA, but have heard only good feedback.
In conclusion, we were delighted with our stay at Palm Beach.

It is the most comfortable and maintained hotel that we were able to stay in during our 15-day tour in Senegal.
This club was renovated a few years ago but already traces of humidity in the rooms, particularly in the bathroom without VMC. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. We were unlucky because we had air conditioning problems in ours. However, the friends with us had no problem with theirs.
The swimming pools and green spaces are very well maintained. The staff is attentive and available. The big strong point of this club is the varied and very good restaurant.
However, we point out a lack of deckchairs on the beach and swimming pool side compared to the capacities of the club hotel.
The second black point is the fact that 75% of the clientele is regular and resides almost year-round in the hotel and that they have free passes and privileges that other vacationers cannot have even in an all-inclusive ( do not wait for their turn at the bar, deckchairs reserved for 6 hours by the staff, table reserved, participation in games, etc.). As this clientele is elderly, the entertainment is intended for them (music, quizzes, etc.) if you are under 50 we will not feel out of place. We do not recommend it if you like clubs that are dynamic and lively for a young clientele.
Last area of improvement is the wifi which is mediocre throughout the establishment.

Clean hotel overall pleasant setting with direct access to the beach. Small downside we had booked twin rooms we had room with a double bed and an extra bed which was not comfortable after having made the remark at the reception, the person at the reception did not want to know anything. I had to call my travel agency in France who did what was necessary, after 2 nights spent in poor conditions we had rooms with 2 real beds. The cleaning of the rooms is done summarily, I just warn ladies, be careful of your husbands because the maids make indecent propositions to them. The meals were varied and a good general atmosphere
Hotel close to small shops where you get harassed to buy.
With a little luck you will see the monitor lizard wandering around the gardens.
The hotel offers a wide choice of excursions.

Modern clean rooms, nice swimming pools , nice beach. WiFi not reliable food terrible example the French fries at breakfast are always cold, even immediately after refill from kitchen they taste like they are left over from previous day tasting of starch. No bar food in between meals. Rooms are normally quiet but some nights music kept me awake until 5am when it stopped. It’s a real shame this hotel could be a favourite but the food and WiFi spoiled my experience.

The positive sides: beautiful beach, very pleasant sand, beautiful rooms especially for those who have a balcony, varied buffet, very very good Ă  la carte restaurant
A big congratulations to the animators who do what they can with very few resources (awa,, ibrahima, Hassan, special congratulations to Antoine for his choreographies)
The negative sides: the beach is clean but not in the water, impossible to go 3 meters without falling on plastic bags
It’s a hotel where there are almost only regulars and those over 65, so there are a lot of differences in terms of service.
The cocktails are not great and rarely fresh
In my personal opinion the activities offered are more worthy of a campsite than an all inclusive: darts beach volleyball karaoke pétanque lotto bingo and aperitif games with absolutely nothing to win not even a cocktail
No show with external speakers apart from a troupe with djembe and the show of the entertainers which thanks to Antoine allowed us to have a good evening
And remember to have euros because there is a deposit of €20 per beach towel
And on the day of departure you have to leave the room at noon (that's normal) however to take the shower we either provide you with a room (that's cool) or it's at the spa but in this case no towel 🤨

It was our 2nd long stay in 2024 and 2025. Last year I would have rated a 4.5 but this year 4 max. The concept evolved into 1/ senior residence 2/ corporate seminars (sometimes large and noisy groups). Otherwise it's fine but to flee if you are looking for calm and serenity. Seniors in residence reserve themselves deckchair permanently and therefore there is not much left for others. The SPA is very good. The large pool is sometimes heated but not always. The small pool is not very used because not practical. Great variety catering. The little paillote restaurant became an option for a fee this year.
