We absolutely loved our stay at Sakoa. The hotel is small so you receive such a warm and personal service, the staff always remember your orders and are friendly and polite, from reception to restaurant to housekeeping to security staff. We paid for half board and didn't regret it - 4 courses were offered on a fixed menu each evening; an 'amuse bouche', a starter, a main and a dessert, with a choice of 2 main courses, usually one fish and one meat. And it was excellent food, really tasty, local, different dishes each night. I have a dairy allergy and the team were really good with recognising how to adapt dishes for me and asked me each evening what I would like for dessert! The room was exceptionally clean and a great size with a mini fridge, kettle and local ground coffee (topped up daily) and coffee percolator included. The hotel offers a turn-down service so it felt like there was a lot of attention to detail and a really thoughtful and thorough service. The room we had was advertised as a 'garden view' but we could see the sea from our balcony too so that was a nice surprise. The road was a little noisy if sat on the balcony, but not disruptive, and you weren't aware of it from inside the room, the balcony had table and chairs and a couple of armchairs plus candles for the evening and we thorough enjoyed sitting in this space reading and watching the local birds in the garden. The hotel has a private beach with parasols and sunbeds and a dedicated swimming area (the lagoon is quite busy with boats) they also provide beach towels for your use. Watching the sunsets on the beach each evening really was special. There are a few beach vendors who approach you but it never felt too hassled or unsafe at all. It is very well placed to visit local attractions and the hotel will help you organise taxis if you don't hire a car. I also had a massage in the wellness spa which was absolutely incredible! We would absolutely recommend staying at Sakoa, a really peaceful, beautiful hotel with wonderful staff who helped to make our fortnight stay very special.…
My wife and I have had a very pleasant experience. We were fortunate to enjoy a very pleasant room with a spectacular view. staff is friendly and dedicated to your comfort and well being. Our amenties were personalized upon our arrival with pictures of our daughter.
The hotel manager took care of my concerns competently and immediately. The cleaning lady fulfilled all my wishes. Great praise. Therefore, the otherwise nice stay with a few flaws was perfect. Thank You
Horrible service from the SPA manager Sabrina and all the staff who answered inbound call. I was even told that no solution can be proposed though they failed in completing a booking I did one week back. Real lack of customer relationship skills, bad SPA mgt and would never recommend this hotel.
We had a delightful stay at the Sakoa, well managed and run by a very professional team. Well-maintained gardens running down to the beach, spacious bedrooms with good yet unobtrusive service. Delicious food (we booked half-board and didn't regret it) and they were flexible about the lunch offer. Activities such as snorkelling offered by the hotel and near to diving centres.
Am amazing boutique hotel at Trou aux Biches. Beautiful green garden with bird nests, palms etc. Small and private, spacious rooms, nice and clean. Sweet service team, we recommend taking half-board. Brilliant views, pool, terraces and white sandy beach, turquoise waters. Probably the best beach on the island. Hotel is also offering free kayaks, SUP and pedalos. Sunset on the beach, flying foxes in the evening (lovely, not scary). Ideal and harmonic vacation. Other activities available at the doorstep.
Sakoa was perfect for our stay: small with lovely personal service, beautiful sleeping huts, we loved being able to access activities eg. Snorkelling trip/ paddle boarding/ water skiing/ kayaking/ glass bottom boat for free. The staff were exemplary and we had two wonderful massages in a beautiful hut on the beach. Couldn’t have asked for a nicer stay
I sincerely recommend Le Sakoa Boutik Hotel, the place is wonderful, a welcoming staff, dedicated, oriented customer service, really pleasant. The rooms are clean, serious service! and a magnificent sea beach view!
We discovered this hotel some years ago walking on the beach. It’s a perfect combination between a small resort and a beach hotel. It’s small so the access at the beach sea it’s immediate and you can enjoy the beach/sea every moment of the day. The rooms are big and comfortable. The sea view rooms are more cozy and relaxing but even the garden view are fine. Everything is very quiet and relaxing maybe too much during all the day but ok.
If you wish to stay somewhere intimate, relaxing with a beautiful beach then look no further. Loved my stay at Sokoa, set on a stunning beach, the rooms are large and well decorated, with fabulous views of the Indian Ocean. We stayed on a dinner, breakfast basis, food is sublime with a varied menu each evening, breakfast was excellent, staff are very welcoming and extremely helpful. Really lovely extras included, complimentary tea & crepes in the afternoon, along with a 20 min massage included for each day of your stay.
