One of the best resorts I have ever experienced. From the warm welcome at the reception to the emotional good byes at our departure. Very Cliche I know , but the staff at this hotel are exceptional and we felt like were at home in a very warm and welcoming family. Rooms: The rooms were well appointed ,large , comfortable and clean .The biggest outdoor shower ever... Restaurants: All of them exceptional but the star has to be the beach restaurant. Service: The staff here go above and beyond to make your stay unforgettable. Evan the hotel manager will stop what he is doing to politely ask you how your day is ( I think his name is Theo ) To The hotel manager - don't stop what you are doing, it is outstanding. A special shout out to DAVE from the Caravelle restaurant and to Benito who never missed a beat in the service they so passionately gave. Amenities: The gardens are like paradise on earth , they are meticulously kept albeit a small mosquito problem. The beach is pristine but seems to be eroding a bit . I guess the recent storms did not help with that. Highs: 1. The service and the setting of the hotel. 2. The Scuba Diving School: This is an outsourced outfit called Diving World. It is a well established dive school that in one word is just exceptional. It is situated within the hotel grounds just behind the Caravelle restaurant. We were only going to do a couple of dives during our stay but we couldn't get enough of their professional and friendly service. The fact that they have recently introduced Nitrox at no extra charge if you are certified made us do 2 dives per day every day. ( we are certified Nitrox divers) The owner and manager is called Francois and we felt really privileged to dive with him . He is so passionate , its inspiring. A very well run outfit- well done ... Lows: 1.We wanted to rent a private boat for the day and enquired at the boat house. We were told that the boat was temporarily out of order and that when it was fixed , they would contact us. We went back a few times to enquire as they never got back to us but the boat was never repaired. 2. The other boats drive too fast near the beach, there are demarcated swimming areas but the noise and music of speeding boats is disturbing. 3. Beach sellers don't bother to wake you up on your sun lounger to sell you a boat trip- I got particularly annoyed with a certain David . All in all , this was an exceptional holiday and I look forward to coming back in the very near future.…
We have just returned from a 2 week stay at the resort. We booked a 2 bedroom pool villa and stayed on the escape package. i would recommend this resort and we would happy to book and return again. The accommodation was excellent. Spacious, great facilities, quiet and private. Perfect for our family. Our butler Aikilesh was discrete and helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed the luxury of breakfast in our garden each morning which he prepared for us. The resort facilities were excellent. My son really enjoyed the kids club and activities provided and the staff there made him feel very welcome. He didn't want to come home! Both my son and my husband thoroughly enjoyed the excellent tennis facilities and I enjoyed the well equipped gym and exercise studio. I would recommend having more cross trainers in the gym as there are only 2 and one seemed to be out of order. The gardens were well landscaped and looked after and made for a lovely location. The hotel unfortunately is unable to have a private beach which is no fault of their own. However, we chose not to sit on the beach. Not because of the hawkers selling goods but because of how busy it was and the excessive amount of speed boats screaming around taking people out on inflatables etc which spoilt both the view and the ambience. The quality of the food in the restaurants in the resort was excellent. Dining out is a highlight of the holiday for us so we were very happy to find that the quality of dining was high. We didn't eat in the Oasis buffet restaurant but did eat in all others. Our favourite was La Caravelle. The Italian, Thai and indian restaurants are also all excellent. The service is attentive and friendly and all staff are to be commended. A top tip - if you enjoy your indian food good and spicy (Indian style!!) speak to your waiter when you order. During our first visit to the indian we were disappointed with the curries. When we returned we spoke to the waiter to understand what was the spiciest on the menu we were advised that they could tailor to our taste and kept the food mild to suit european palletes. The chef prepared for us an amazing butter chicken. As good as we've eaten in India. Delicious! The only restaurant that disappointed us for evening dining was La Plage. We all ate something different and all agreed the food was very bland and tasteless. However it was lovely for a lunch venue. Service here though was also excellent and a shout out to Ally for looking after us. There are 2 bars at the resort. The biggest being Oasis where regular music and local entertainment is provided. Thank you to Roodesh who looked after us. He runs around the bar ensuring everyone is served as soon as possible with a smile and a friendly chat. Also, a trainee called Chaitrali who is so personable, friendly, always with a huge smile. I'm sure she'll go far! And finally there was another female waitress in brown trousers who was also very attentive and efficient, friendly. One piece of feedback for the Oasis bar - It was always (unless there was an act on) very brighly lit in the evening. I think lower more relaxing lighting would improve the ambience and create a more chilled environment. We were very impressed with the customer service here. All staff were lovely. It was great to see management walking around, speaking to guests, checking everyone was happy every day, throughut the day. Our villa services manager Prateema called on us at the restaurant, discreetly, every evening to check we had everything we needed and were happy. Excellent service! There was only one criticism we had about the resort. My husband and I have visited many 4 and 5 star hotels around the world where a dress code is provided and often stipulates that men are required to wear trousers. For example Domes in Crete and Velassaru in the Maldives. However, from our experience this is often put in place or shared to imply the requirement for people to dress smart or smart casual to deter people from casual attire and beach wear. From experience, resorts have always been more than happy for my husband to wear a collared shirt and smart, tailored shorts in the evening with leather loafers and in resorts others have commonly done the same. However, we were advised on arrival that my husband wouldn't be allowed to dine unless he wore trousers which could include jeans. Which was a problem as he had only brought 2 pairs! What made this particularly annoying was at dinner on our first night, we were sat next to a group of people wearing the scruffiest jeans, trainers and hoodies in one of the fine dining restaurants!!! But my husband couldn dine in a shirt and tailored smart shorts. This continued throughout the holiday where many people 'dressed down' for dinner. Which is absolutely fine - but not when my husband couldn't wear his wardrobe of smart tailored shorts. It seemed a joke. Thak goodenss the evenings were a little chilly.…
We have a very please and relaxing stay at the hotel, welcome was perfectly done with clear explanations about the hotel service and various activities. The room was amazing 'clean and bright' surrounded by a well maintained garden with a non crowded pool. La Plage the beach restaurant is a MUST, feet in the sand, gentle waves sound accompanies the meals perfectly with a service above standard La Caravelle where we had breakfast and dinner was ideal for a convivial meal . Accessible buffet with lot of varieties for breakfast and a fine dining experience for dinner where the chef shows and share his talent. Bar, Beach bar near our room just ideal for a refreshing cocktail with a perfect entertainment every evening 'DJ and Sax's' in perfect harmony 🎷 A big thanks goes the chefs, manager, and all staffs of Trou aux Biches for the memorable stay. We will surely be back…
When we arrived to the hotel we waited a few minutes for the room at the reception. The personell gave us coctail with local fruits and a cold towel. It was a nice welcome. Then we recived some informations about the resort and what activities we can do here. After that they grabbed our luggage and drove us to our room. In the room we recived anatoher informations and some info about the room. Veshaal was our host and he cared about us all the time we stayed there. We took a part in some hotel’s activites and it was nice experience. Thanks to all personell and especially Veshaal. Antonín

Beautiful place Welcoming staff and very helpful.. Good Room services... Had a great time with family. The kids enjoyed the activities at the Sport Centre and the aqua gym. The right place to relax by the beach enjoying the sea. Highly recommended
Impolite security staff “patrolling” the beach . Highway of speedboats 10m away from the beach. Better watch out before you go to the water. Don’t leave your children alone.Bring enough money as you going to be charged for a lot. We wanted to invite friends - but they were not allowed to stay at the beach with us although all beaches are considered public beaches.

Fantastic hotel, super well managed by Théo. The bar is fabulous, great view, friendly staff and delicious cocktails. The pool area is well maintained, the food is very good, well presented. We had a great time and we will definitely come back soon
Such a kind staff working at the hotel! For me that was the best perk of the resort. Managers are also likable. Rooms are very spacious and silent in the night. Super 👌 clean. The beach is long, clean and filled with palm trees. There are few restaurants you can choose from so many things to eat. There's also a wast offer of activities available. Try some water sports! Highly recommended, I will definitely come back.
