We have stayed in this apartment three times. Very convenient location between two beaches, choose any supermarket and several cafes nearby. Nicholas and Bianca are wonderful people who are always ready to help with any questions.

I've booked a luxury apartment but unfortunately got a standard appartment without refund of the price. You get cheaper apartments of the same standard for less money in trou aux biches. On arrival 8pm apsrtment was not cleaned properly, hairs were everywhere. We waited for the owner who cleaned it so that we could move in at 11pm after 30hrs travelling. Beside the wrong apartment category the extractor in the kitchen did not work, no toilet paper was provided, not even simple kosmetics like soap. Towels were changed irregularily every 3-4 days and mostly incomplete probably cause of delays of the laundry service. The safe was also not usable as it was locked by someone. If you find it for a price of other standard apartments nearby it could be worth two choose if you can live with the points I mentioned above. In all other cases have a look for another place. Never the less the owner always tries to be nice and supportive but at the end he earns money with it, I'm also always nice in my job. If we woudnt have paid that much and if the expectations caused by apartment fotos wouldn't have been totally different I would have had enjoyed the quite standard stay. Best regards Martin

If you are debating where to stay, choose this place. Not only are the apartments beautiful, clean and spacious AND close to TWO beaches, but the staff are out of this world. They are so helpful, friendly and accommodating. They will guide you around the area with recommendations about where to go and where to avoid. They prevented us from going to stores where the prices were far too high (we did a comparison) and organised tours for us (prices were very good and comparible to tour companies). They go above and beyond and deserve 10 out of 5 stars. Beautiful pool on site and washing machine along with full utilities. We don't want to leave!

We stayed at Belle Haven for 7 days. The apartment was great and within walking distance of 2 great beaches. We have nothing but praise for Nick and Bianca who went out of there way to help us. Nick got us a hire car for a great price and organised s catamaran trip for us. He personally picked up the car and delivered it to the apartment then took it back. He would do anything to help Our only small criticisms was the poor choice of English tv stations (bbc world) and the lack of toiletries and loo rolls. Would recommend

We highly recommend the apartment on the last floor: the terrace is huge, with shower, sunbeds, big dining table and bbq. There are two more small terraces, a great kitchen, bathroom with window and glass door to the bedroom area. 10 min to the beach. There's a shop opposite the apartment, but it's not recommendable. A car is practical, though there is a bus stop in front of the ap. Pool is great! 24/7 vigilance.

We stayed in Belle Haven Apartments in March 2017, and were very satisfied all together. It is a quiet place, well maintained by Nick and Bianca who were truly wonderful. Very spacious and regularly cleaned. Nick and Bianca helped us with any requests or questions we had. I personally think when it comes to Mauritius there is no need to stay at a hotel, by no means all inclusive because the food you can buy on the little stands on the beach is just delicious at very fair prices. We also rented a car and had a chance to see the rest of the island and to be honest, Mont Choisy beach is the most beautiful one of all the beaches we had a chance to see. All the beaches in Mauritius are public so we had a chance to walk into the 'hotel beaches' as well and came to the conclusion we really made a good choice staying at an apartment near Mont Choisy beach (5 minute walk from the apartment). And I found it very interesting to see a part of Mauritian culture, where family parties and gatherings on a beach every Saturday, with barbecue and music take over! Maybe some people would mind it but I think if you go to a foreign country you should respect other nation's traditions and at least see how people over there live/spend their time. But no worries, the beach is quite big and not overcrowded (at least it wasn't in march). March is a rainy season but don't take it too seriously, every now and then there is a shower and then the sun comes out again. Oh, and one other thing: there is a shop right next to Belle Haven, don't ever ever go in there. Overpriced and smelly! There is a supermarket in Trou aux Biches, Chez Popo, just down the street. There is also a big shopping mal in Grand Baye which is even cheaper if you have a car. AJ's 'Refresh' is just around the corner with good food and nice cocktails, very handy. Have a nice trip and enjoy Mauritius!

We stayed at BelleHaven for 10 days late January 2018, and had a wonderful time there. Nick and Bianca were ever so helpfull no matter what. We can highly recommend the place and if you are looking for a beautiful place to eat, go to Refresh just round the corner. We can NOT recommend Le Mediterrane, a couple of blocks from BelleHaven. We both got a servere stomach infection after dining there. We spent 24 hours in bed with fever and diarrhea. When we contacted the owner, he strongly refused any responsibility and accused us of trying to cheat him. Not a nice experience!

We spent 14 days at this beautiful apartment. Two adult and a twoyear old. We stayed in the two-bedroom apartment (upper floor) which we would really like to recommend. Beautiful view (partly ocean), spaceous, and well equipped. Good wifi, excellent cleaning every day (except sunday). Great straff. Really friendly. There is a supermarket across the street but the price is triple compared to supermarket in Trou aux biches. Too expensive. So we bought everything in Trou aux biches. (Just 10 min walk from the beach in the south direction) The apartment is close to Mont Choicy beach. Beautiful beach. But we prefered going to Trou aux biches (public beach) Here we rented sunbeads. There is hotels among the whole beach and they have privat areas and private sunbeads. If you like going to the beach you should have that in mind and calculate the cost for sunbeds versus hotels with sunbeds included. For us (with a small child) Belle Haven apartments was perfect. We had an amazing time with lots of experiences. Tips: if you are looking for renting a car, do not rent at the AirPort. Talk to lokals. Price is half. Taxis have a taxicentral in front of the apartments. Always settle a price. We paid 150-200 from apartment to Trou aux beaches. 400 to grand baie. Ca 3000 for a taxi and driver a whole day sightseeing around the Island. Swimming with dolphins is a must! If you have a child/baby be aware of the carseats are really bad!!!! Not safe at all and you should bring your own.

Stayed in Belle haven apartment for a week and was very satisfied with it. The one bedroom apartment was very spacious and has a fully equipped kitchen, living room and balcony. The wifi was strong and fast. Housekeeping comes everyday to clean the room (except sundays). There is also a washing machine for guest to use for free but you must bring your own washing powder. The only thing about the apartment is that they do not have elevator, so if your room is on the upper floor, stairs is your only way in and out. The apartment has a swimming pool that you can enjoy and a few nearby restaurants as well as a small supermarket. The beach is also walking distance. Though, if you are looking for a big supermarket you might need to take the bus or car to go. Overall, belle haven is a pleasant place to stay in with good value.
