We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights in a "Ocean Beachfront Room" on a "half-board" basis. Room was spacious with an amazing ocean view. The beach is vast and you can always find a place of your choosing. Food was top-level at all four restaurants. Most importantly, the staff was absolutely fantastic, especially, Yannick Balancy, who was absolutely amazing! He helped us a lot both prior to our arrival and during our stay. He was very helpful, welcoming and always assisted us with anything we needed, in order to make our stay memorable and perfect! We are definitely coming back!
The resort is perfectly located. Perfect place for the beach , the sunset , and the food. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Great activities to spend the time in the resort. We recommend at 100%.
Tropical Ocean Beachfront room was spacious, well equipped and we were at the far end just before the villas. The beach was beautiful and quiet, and the regular, friendly and excellent beach bar service by Christopher and other staff members was perfect. Friendly and welcoming staff and waiters, special mention for Gunraj on breakfast service at the buffet who could not have been more helpful and obliging. Water sports team also really friendly and helpful. Great stay all round.
Our stay in Paradis for my birthday was simply amazing! Big thanks to Medgée for organising this for this special occasion, planning was outstanding. We were all very pleased with the service and care provided by the hotel staff, including Balmick and Veda. Cannot wait to be back, keep up the outstanding service.
I was in Mauritius from May 2nd to May 11th and I stayed at this hotel during my stay. I didn't have a single bad moment while I was there. The hotel includes various restaurants and offers a wide range of water sports activities. it is suitable for single people, couples and families. the staff was very nice, friendly and helpful. We got to know some of them like Mr. Balmick and Mr. Roy in Buffet. They were very patient in answering our questions about the food and the hotel in general. Anyone who stays in this hotel can also use the infrastructure of the neighboring and sister hotel Dinarobin Hotel Golf & Spa.
Travelled as a couple in May 2022, weather was intermittent at best, forecast would say sunshine and it would be raining, but then sun in periods. Check in straightforward and covid test simple on arrival, results instant We stayed in a tropical room, 3rd floor- good location for all amenities, although ocean rooms are newer they are smaller and further away from everything and not as nice section of beach. Room was nice and large but older style furnishing, could do with refurb. Grounds of resort are beautiful as is beach. Restaurants are all aimed towards French style and tastes, a lot of fish. We ate at buffet most evenings for choice, as restaurants you are confined to certain dishes if half board or have to pay extra for over half the menu- not impressed Also not impressed with service- some waiters ignored us in some locations we had to go to bar despite others being served alongside us- not sure if it was due to us being English whereas other Europeans were served much quicker. Negative- water is not free with evening meals, ridiculous! You get one bottle of water in your room, which of course is not enough for 2 adults for 24 hours. Half board was okay but def not 5star experience we are used to. Cocktails are again “okay” not strong or worth the £10 price tag beer wasn’t cold enough either, nothing on draught- cans only. Resort could do with a shop for amenities as nothing close to the resort have to get a taxi if wanted to go out anywhere. Reception was rude to me when I asked for a late check out- didn’t even enquire and said hotel was full- definitely isn’t- has been at 50-60% capacity at best! Very quiet! Overall, beautiful place but service and food let it down, definitely not 5 star or the price tag for half board.…
Whilst in Le Morne on a tour from our East Coast resort, we asked a member of staff at the Paradise resort if we could buy a drink in any of the bars or restaurants, and use the sunbeds on the beach to take some shelter from the mid afternoon heat. The waiter was extremely polite and said it wouldn't be a problem whatsoever, and directed us to the bar we could order some drinks. On our way to the bar we were ambushed by a security guard who told us we weren't allowed to walk on the resorts pathway and that we were not allowed to sit on the beds as it was a private resort, however it was a public beach so we could sit on the sand. This was a little strange given how we'd just been told we could go and use the bar, but we walked onto the beach to sit under the shade of a palm tree and rest after being on a boat for 7 hours. After about 2 minutes another security guard stormed over to us and bellowed that we were not allowed to sit on this part of the beach and if we didn't leave he would call the police to have us removed. The attitude of this particular member of staff was quite frankly appalling and rude, and we both found it quite a shambles how we had been told one thing by one member of staff, and the opposite by another. We laughed, shared a few kind words and wished him a lovely day before leaving the area. He followed us and made sure we weren't up to any funny business. I can only assume he was extremely bored. We initially walked by this resort thinking that it looked rather nice and that we might stay there on a future visit to Mauritius, however due to the poor behavior of security guard on the beach, we will absolutely never choose to spend our money there. I hope this feedback reaches the necessary level so the staff can have some proper training in what is and isn't allowed at the resort so as to avoid this confusion and utter rudeness with future weary travellers. If this was my business and anyone had spoken like this to someone enquiring about eating or drinking at my restaurant, they would most certainly not be working for me anymore!…
Our stay at Paradis Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa was perfect with an Ocean room. We received a warm welcome at our arrival. Special thanks to Medgee for such a warm welcome. The food was excellent and the serving staff very caring. A special thought goes to Mr Balmick for his hospitality and assistance at Le Brabant. Our special thanks to the staff of Cabane Nautique for the wonderful glass bottom boat and speed boat trips. The birthday cake was also nice and amazing. We would surely recommend this place to anyone. Once again, our special thanks to Medgee for making our stay so wonderful and memorable. Keep it up! :D
Stunning resort set in the perfect location. Incredible sunsets and breathtaking views. Bedroom was very comfortable and perfectly situated with a large balcony to enjoy the sunsets, Friendly and professional staff always available to assist. We will definitely return to enjoy paradise once more.
We booked an "Ocean Room" and the description of the room on the booking website said the room had a sea-view. I had my binoculars and the sea was visible in the distance through the trees. But we loved the room as it was quiet and situated in the best area of the hotel, so we didn't bother to make a fuss. Some guests might not be so relaxed about it. We asked for a quiet room so this may have been why we were further from the sea than we expected. We have stayed in some great hotels but never at a hotel where the food was so consistently excellent in all the restaurants. However, the hotel dress code we were sent when we booked stipulated that men must wear long sleeve shirts at all the restaurants for dinner So I went out and bought some lightweight long sleeved cotton shirts. My wife was sceptical about this "code" but I insisted that we should follow the rule. So, how many men on most nights were wearing a long sleeve shirt? Polo shirts, short sleeve shirts, T shirts - yes; long sleeve shirts? - just one - me. My wife said ITYS, but I gamely continued to follow the dress code. We had drinks at the bar every evening and we were pleasantly surprised at the prices! The beaches were wonderful, but if I did have a grumble it would be about the amount of boats operating in front of the hotel - I guess they wouldn't be there if the demand was not great but in our view it took the edge off paradise. We had a wonderful 10 days at the resort and would heartily recommend it. …
