We were 8 in total last Friday 29.07.2022 til Sunday 31st July.At first we got a warm and nice welcome. Everything seems quite ok at the first sight. The Barman were nice, only one of them was kind of impolite. For diner time on Friday, the buffet was good. The next day for the lunch time we had the same chicken cooked in different way(sauce) and on Sunday too. We asked the chef whether the chicken was freshed he do confirm that it was the same chicken as the day before.( there was a bad smell also). We propose that the animators follow course to be more customer focus. Even the music was not that good because of the DJ who played only bad music where everybody went to their room so that he could leave earlier. There was spiders in the rooms. A cat which is always presence under the table during lunch time and dinner. There was not hot water for the shower. The lightning was not strong enough there was a barely light while we were eating. However there is a positive point: the bed were very comfortable and we had a lot of fun. The cocktails were good. Hope this will help you to improve your next guests.

Let's be honest. It is a decent hotel with facilities you would expect from a 3 star, though some stuffs unavailable in rooms were unexpected - soap, toothpaste and the way toilets are in some rooms. However, the food was very good, though the tea time was slow and insufficient in quantity. The staff were generally friendly but some, unfortunately, never made the effort to go the extra mile. Overall, it was a wasn't stay for the group and for the price, but service (smile of some staff, being more active and speedy, handling client requests, impolite night security staff) can definitely be improved. But, one thing, we enjoyed ourselves well, which means that something must have been done very well and that was the overall ambience and somewhat service of some lads who were genuinely invested in making us have an excellent time, like Mr Ruggoo, the barmen (both shifts) and the head waiter. Many thanks. All the best.

This is not a five star hotel so don't arrive expecting that. What you get is exceptionally friendly service from the moment that you check in to the offer of a shower after you check out and before you leave for the airport. The view from our room was of a blue blue ocean and this made the trip. You can snorkel off the beach in front of the hotel and there are water sports offered as well as a trip on a glass bottomed boat into Blue Bay to do some snorkeling there. The restaurant offers a more limited range of food than the bigger resorts that we have been to but the food is superb. On one of the evenings they prepared a five course meal. The resort is also close to the airport and planes can be seen flying overhead. It is not an intrusion. So if you like long walks on the Bea h and clear blue waters then this is the perfect place to stay.

Amazing location, beautiful beaches and incredibly helpful staff. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis which also included 2 for 1 on evening meals at the hotel. Each night they put on a themed buffet and we ate on Italian night. There was a wide variety of food, including pasta, pizzas and salads. All of which were delicious! The room was spacious and clean with lots of character, and a lovely view of the pool/garden and the ocean! Special shout out to Even and the bar staff, who were always warm and welcoming!

This is not the 5 star Marriott or Ritz but it is a really good hotel right on the sand. The staff were all fantastic and the buffet breakfast has cook to order omelettes. Room basic but Ac worked great and it was clean. Bed very comfortable. Eat overlooking the ocean and walk out onto the sand, into the water and swim with plenty of fish. All water sports included and they have paddle boards, peddle boats, snorkeling, kayaks and some other things that I cannot remember. If you want to be in the middle of the city then go to Port Louis and stay in a hotel there but if you want to be on the beach, with no noise at night and the only lights being the stars in the sky then stay in Blue Bay, that is a personal choice. There are only a few restaurants that you can walk to from here or eat in the hotel but there are always taxis out front and a mall 7 minutes away by car.

Le Peninsula Bay Resort is located on the more quiet part of the island 15 min away from the airport. We took the all inclusive package and made use of every single thing that was included. Located right next door to Blue Bay Marine Park this is the perfect location get away from the business of life and just relax. Snorkelling at Blue bay is included, they take you out on a glass bottom boat and the Captain, with his great sense of humour, makes it fun for everyone. If you don't feel like going out on the boat the snorkelling right off the beach is also very enjoyable. Other activities include, kayaking, paddle boarding and a few others. The snorkelling was definitely a highlight! They also provide all equipment needed. The Bar and restaurant staff went out of their way to make our stay more enjoyable. The food was mostly Buffet or Set menu and after a day out and about it really hit the spot. Flavourful and tasty! The Bar staff made the yummy cocktails and there were no issues about drinking in the pool or taking drinks and food down to the beach. Their main priority was that the guests must enjoy themselves, relax and have a wonderful time. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed. Not much privacy in the bathroom, but nothing you cant work around. Housekeeping staff were friendly, helpful and always willing to work around our daily schedule. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to visit Mauritius. Perfect location and wonderful staff!

The location of the hotel is in a very beautiful place with a beautiful lagoon, Swimming is ideal for small children and adults, the water is beautifully clean, calm, the hotel offers a free tour of colorful fish and corals. From the hotel you can go for long walks on the beach. The staff at the hotel were so friendly and helpful, on the bar makes excellent drinks, the kitchen cooks local and european dishes, everyone chooses what they like. The food was good and tasteful. The rooms are large and clean, most with sea or garden views...after lunch and dinner you can sit by the pool, drink coffee, cappuccino, cocktail or have a pancake....Next the hotel is the bus stop, that takes you quickly to Mahebourg, from Mahebourg you can travel by bus to other place, or take taxi. In Mahebourg are many place for shopping, visit market, or just enjoy the atmosphere of the city...I recommend the hotel to everyone who likes a family atmosphere, quiet surroundings, staff as friends. We thank the all hotel staff for a pleasant stay....

So we stayed here twice in the last three years and again this year. It has really gone down hill. The staff were quiet rude especially the bar man. I was told my “all inclusive ends at 2pm. I asked for soft drink for my son at 2.10pm and was told sorry you will Have to pay. I paid 140 rupees for apple juice which is 39 ruppees I the super market. Food was awesome and the chefs were so lovely and chatting to my kids. The service staff at the dining room were ok but we got moved from our table twice saying they didn’t want us to use a table for 5 if we are a group of 4 and it’s was quiet intimidating as I was a women surrounded by four male staff at one point and when they moved me again i told them no as I have two kids and it’s stressful and the service man was upset I would not move again!!!!!! The lady at the desk had a rude face and didn’t smile once! She clearly saw me struggling with my two kids and luggage going up the stairs and didn’t even offer to help!!! The room we were allocated was suppose to be a double and two singles but we did not receive this! We got a crib, single bed and double bed. It was fine but we didn’t pay for that! The room was so so so hot and uncomfortable to sleep in that all the family were struggling, air con was not working well and you couldn’t feel the cold aid much. The toilet was so smelly, when asking the staff if they could help with this I was told it’s summer and all toilets smell Thai time for year and they can’t smell anything. When we were leaving no one even asked “did you enjoy your stay was it ok”. Anyway all in all I would not return to this hotel. And it’s a shame because it was one of my favourite over the years! Definitely not worth the price

After having out holiday cancelled twice due to covid we booked this hotel and were lucky enough to finally travel to this beautiful island. The staff at the hotel were so friendly and helpful. The hotel should've been full but due to covid this wasn't the case. Lucky for us having the pool to ourselves alot of the time but because of the lack of guests I think they have cut back on certain areas such as entertainment, you can't blame them and this did not spoil our visit. The staff can't do enough to help you, I have had more choices of food staying at an all inclusive but there was still plenty and we did not go hungry. If you want a small friendly hotel then this is for you. Another bonus is a short transfer from the airport after a long flight. A lovely holiday after a lot of postponements but worth the wait. Thank you to all the staff for your hard work and making it such an enjoyable holiday.
