To put simply everything could be better as it is a 3 star hotel pretending to be a 5 star hotel and I cannot believe it is an Anantara hotel. Giving it a 3 seems generous too. The Reception and housekeeping let the hotel down majorly and the F&B staff lacked a lot as well. The reception staff acted like they were doing you a favor and housekeeping did a terrible job. They didn't even do a hotel tour when we arrived and did not explain anything to us at all. The food although good was a bit of a let down as it was a bit repetitive. Sea, Fire and Salt was a big disappointment as the food was average and a simple instruction such as please take the the shells off the prawns was ignored and when taken back the chef just pulled them out slightly and left the rest in the shell so basically ignored the ask. However Zafran' food was very delicious and Venita and Kunal were amazing. The people in Horizon who made it a good experience are Shyama and Elodie, they were also amazing but the other staff were lacking. In the Spa special mentions to Krishi, Roshan and Nalini who were excellent. In terms of the rooms they were not cleaned properly, there were no bathrobes and they did a terrible job of cleaning rooms daily. We had to actually ask to get them cleaned and 6202 is infested with ants. A dirty rag was left on my clean clothes in my suitcase that was open. Furthermore, my sister who's 40th we came to celebrate had a fall due to an uneven surface, and a staff member who saw what happened just walked by instead of helping. The wonderful staff at the Spa helped her and cleaned a pretty bad wounded knee and iced her ankle. Vidya from the kids club was excellent too and was great! Not only that, the people who arrived a day earlier had to move room and we were treated so badly by reception that the packing to move was rushed and a few items were forgotten in the room and despite us informing housekeeping the items were not recovered. The air-conditioning did not work well in the rooms either. I came away thinking I wasted a lot of money on an experience that was supposed be amazing and a memorable occasion as I counted on having Anantara standards. I massively overpaid for sub standard service that really took away from enjoyment. When issues were raised apologies were made but then the next day the same issue was repeated, nothing changed or even worse new issues cropped up. How is this an Anantara hotel?

We went there for spa. Quality of spa: 4/10 would not waste my money to go there for spa again. Mrs Nalinee and manager met our requirements and were great people to deal with. Mrs Alexandra was not so welcoming. I sent a mail earlier to ask about payment and they said it could be done by cash, but when we gave them cash, Mrs Alexandra says they do not deal with cash here and do not have exchange to give us and gave us a blank look. Had i been in her place, I would have gone and got exchange from the bar or somewhere else. We had no other choice but to pay by card. Had food at the bar, food & service were excellent. Had dinner at the buffet, Mr Paz and Mrs Vanessa were very kind and welcoming. Great customer service there. Can go to Anantara again for the food, drinks & buffet.

Good experience really enjoy the tripe, the resort is very near to the air port (10 min trip by car), it also include 2 fabulous swimming pools, the team and the resort employees were awesome nice and really welcoming, the resort provide free activities everyday just you need to reserve them from the spa, really good experience

It's has been a memorable holiday , Professional welcoming ...friendly staff. Service at the restaurant and bar was just wow .food was delicious..very beautiful hotel with a macnific swimming pool..only 1 negative pointwise I want to raise..coming back from the pool to pickup some stuff in my room ..with great surprise I saw the room maid flirting on my bed with this colleague. They was so busy that they don't even see me enter the room. This is not acceptable..and this may affect your reputation ..else we got a nice holiday..

Reception and housekeeping: 3* at best and that's being generous. It's such a pity, because the hotel itself is fantastic and the F&B staff are all absolutely excellent. And I want to stress how good the F&B staff are. However, our booking seemed to confuse the reception staff just because all 3 rooms were booked under the same surname, the rooms are not cleaned properly each day, beds not made, dirty glasses not taken away, there was broken glass in the corridor, items that we accidentally left in room were thrown away/"lost" when we were asked to change room after the 1st night, the air conditioning isn't working, the reception staff don't communicate any of our messages to the relevant team. It's really disappointing for an Anantara.

Anantara has been a great experience. We had a warm welcome at the reception followed by a guided visit of the hotel . Most of all a big thanks to Mr indiren and his team for the wonderful service they provide at aqua restaurant. Even the chef came to see us and was very friendly. We were served with high quality food and it was delicious We were amazed by the great personality of indiren he is friendly and was very attentive to our wants. Do meets him when you go to Anantara you won’t be disappointed .

Outstanding hotel with great facilities and wonderful staff. Location only 20 mins from the airport but this did not impact at all. Great access for snorkelling and the beach plus two beautiful pools. All inclusive option great value and would recommend.
