What an incredible hotel. The Westin know the power of impeccable hospitality. Our holiday was made by the staff. Special shout out to Steeven, the most attentive, friendly, interesting and funny pool manager ever. From knowing how to surprise and delight; to deep and meaningful conversations, Steeven had it all. To Raja, Bar Manager, who shared his secrets to guest happiness and was the ultimate professional whilst being warm, friendly and above all, a great conversationalist. To Seam, Service Manager who worked tirelessly, morning and night to ensure everything was just perfect, throwing in a few special moments along the way. To Mohit, who danced with us and offered always the greatest smile and joyful evenings. To Clemence who had the brightest smile of all and the kindest heart. The accommodation was always spotless and inviting; the amenities all you could ask for; the food out of this world, especially in Mystic and the Indian, but stunning in the Seasonal Buffet and the the beach grill also. An incredible spa, gym, water activities, free bikes, table tennis, bagminton and a tennis court. Our All Inclusive started the minute we arrived, way before our check in, and all day until we left, some 7 hours after check out. In 2 weeks we didn't spend an additional penny and we ate and drank and participated in all the resport had to offer. A hotel not to be missed, but above all, a team of the most professional, friendly experts across all aspects of the business. I can't recommend more highly. We will be returning.

My friend and I had the most unbelievable experience at this hotel. From the minute we arrived, the staff could not have been more helpful and more so happy to help which you don’t often see. Every member of staff we encountered was so lovely, polite and helpful as well as many of them going above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect - it is very clear that this hotel pride themselves on customer service and the importance of it. We built great relationships with some members of staff that we actually felt we would miss them when we left! The grounds of the hotel are beautiful, we could sit for hours on a night just looking at the view and both the pool areas are lovely. The rooms are so spacious and very traditional Mauritian, it really adds a lot of character! We didn’t have a single bad meal at any of the restaurants. The food was amazing and when there was one event where we were a limited to what we could eat, the managers didn’t hesitate to speak to the chef and sort something out for us so we were satisfied. On a night before dinner whilst having a drink, little plates of food would come round which we always felt was a lovely little touch :) Overall I can’t recommend this hotel enough, if I was to return back to Mauritius I wouldn’t hesitate in booking to stay here again, the only difference would be I would book for longer!

This hotel is absolutely beautiful and the staff are wonderful. Including Seam he looked after us with the restaurants and made sure everything was sorted for us. The General Manager sorted us out with an upgrade with our room which was amazing and took the time to make sure everything was perfect for us. We would also like to thank Jamal he was so lovely and helpful. Raja’s cocktails were amazing. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is wanting to stay in Mauritius. Luxury hotel with amazing amazing staff. I can’t wait to come back and stay here.

The accommodation was perfect and the service we received was outstanding , both attentive and unobtrusive. The staff all seemed genuinely concerned to give guests the best possible experience . The food was delicious with good variety and choice , and we enjoyed the taxi tour of local sites arranged by the concierge . We won’t forget the beautiful sunsets from the bar ! a special thanks to Anil , our room steward for his impeccable service and attention to detail ,his were the most artistic towel sculptures I’ve ever seen . I’d highly recommend a stay here .

My wife and myself had a wonderful 7 day stay at The Westin Turtle Bay Resort & Spa in Mauritius. The room was spacious, comfortable and well-equipped. The staff were very friendly, we were well looked after and the service delivered by every employee was very good. We would especially like to thank Seam and his F & B team: Amy, Pamela, Julius, Fakason, Abraham and to all those who we cannot mention individually. We thoroughly relished the food at Seasonal Tastes restaurant, the variety and quality of the spread is remarkable both for breakfast as well as dinner. We would also like to mention that Alisha from Housekeeping made us feel welcome and comfortable throughout our stay. We did try dinner at Beach Grill and Mystique and enjoyed it. We highly recommend you stay at this property.

Everything about this hotel + the staff was just magic! Absolutely phenomenal hotel right from the moment of arrival to literally getting into the airport transfer back home. I arrived very early at the hotel (10am) & they allowed me to check into my room (after a 12hr flight) with no extra charge!! The room:Junior Deluxe suite with ocean view.This room was insanely big, the bed could easily fit us all in (3 adults and 2 babies). Lovely huge bath, walk in shower & even bigger terrace with loungers, sofas and sunbeds! The restaurants - all phenomenal food & so tasty! Generation portions + the mocktails were insane with such unique and inventive flavours! My fav was the Thai and the Indian. The Tepanyaki was also fabulous. The buffet for dinner and breakfast never failed and had such amazing selections of fresh food, juices and range of cuisines. Pasta and omelet stations were a must! The tamarind sorbet was also delicious😋. The chefs and restaurant staff were always about greeting guests and so accommodating especially as we had 2 babies with us who needed high chairs and were sat at tables near the food. The spa was insane and had some fantastic massages and love the serenity rituals at the start which add a lovely touch. Staff again were so lovely. Hotel grounds were stunning, right on the beach, amazing pool for kids and adults. The sand is a little rough as it's a coral beach and very shallow. Stunning vistas and back drops for sunset ritual cocktails, dinner and just relaxing watching the sun set. Everything was so clean and easily accessible especially with prams. Gym was state of the art and had great equipment and facilities to burn off all the delicious food! The staff- The most important thing! Honestly we have never been treated with such kind & genuine hospitality right from the moment you step into the hotel. They know your name, help with reservations, were so accommodating to help with the kids & left lovely treats like free non alcoholic champagne + a birthday cake for my brother. A special thanks to Ram - for all your help with restaurant reservations & the special birthday dinner set up by the beach. Angelle from breakfast service who gave the kids strawberries everyday. Kevin- our fabulous waiter who sorted the pizzas for the girls and served us at Mystique and was so accommodating all time. Pradeep who served us at the pool and looked after the cabanas for us. Vikash G- restaurant manager who always looked after us at the buffets. Mohit and Vicky from the evening bar and entertainment who let the girls run around during the live music sessions. Pamela who served us the most epic omelettes! All the ground staff and housekeeping who greated us all with such kindness and respect everyday and kept the hotel looking spotless! Mahfooza, Toushita, Visha and the female waitresses who greated us with such love and care at breakfast reception and dinner and always we so friendly to the babies. Vikash D - lead manager who ever so generously and kindly arranged for complimentary massages and also took such kindness to make sure I had eaten dinner before heading off to the airport before a late night flight. He is a great leader and well deserving of the promotion with his acts of kindness. And last but by no means last Jameel Joomun who went out of his way to ensure our whole stay went smoothly and accommodating with 2 babies. He was unbelievable in his dedication, making us feel like family and worked tirelessly to ensure our stay was comfortable. We left feeling we'd made friends and family and he was just unbelievable in every way in his manner and support. Thank you so much to everyone at the Westin Turtle Bay for making our stay one of the most memorable and relaxing stays. You all work so hard and deserve to be rewarded for this. The epitome of highest level of hospitality and customer service right here in a stunning location. And so great for kids too. We hope you are all keeping well and hope to see you again very soon. The receptionist, Jevin , his service was very nice. He really helped us with everything he could. We loved the resort very much. Even if there were comments about the resort, we had already forgotten them because of his beautiful service to us. He is truly amazing and cheerful. He deserves a thousand stars.

I recently travelled to The Westin with my husband. We have been on many wonderful holidays over the years and have stayed in many great hotels all over the world from Banyan Tree resorts, Anantara, The One and Only, the Landmark and many more. When booking this holiday, we wanted something special and searched for many hotels; all with excellent views and 5 stars. But when all hotels offer 5 star ratings and great views, the search then becomes about having a point of difference to help narrow down the search to that perfect hotel. I was tempted to book the Lux, but there was something about it which didn’t entice me. I wanted to go somewhere non-typical and with a point of difference and the Westin stood out from everywhere I looked. Everywhere I looked all the reviews highlighted the excellent hospitality; which then became the reason behind my decision. From the moment we arrived, we were not disappointed. Not only is this hotel fantastic with its quality of rooms, beach, activities, spa and options of restaurants. The views are sensational, the beach is beautiful with palm trees and crystal blue water and the additional perks such as the free kids activities, cycling, games room, spa, on-site nurse and free water sports are excellent. They ensure a level of comfort when so far away from home. However, what really tipped this to the next level was the service which is EXCEPTIONAL and the staff are FANTASTIC! When we arrived Keshav checked us in. He made sure our luggage was promptly taken to our room and took the time to bring us fresh pineapple juice, asked us about our flight, built a personal relationship with us and then spoke in depth about the hotel, the facilities and everything that is available to us. He was polite and respectful and you could tell that he was passionate about his job and passionate about supporting us through our stay. Sometimes it’s clear that people are simply doing their job or “ticking a box” but here it wasn’t like that. You were treated on a personal level and not as a number. Jameel the general manager is wonderful. Kind and attentive. He took the time to speak to us, build a personal relationship and ensured we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Manisha and Mr Raam are wonderful individuals. Always happy and smiling and they take the time out to understand your dietary needs and preferences and then make dinner recommendations accordingly. Nothing is too much. Manisha is a wonderful person, I genuinely felt excited to see her everyday, she’s personable, kind, attentive and she takes the time to get to know you. Not only will she make all your reservations perfectly and with little effort from yourself, she will ensure you have nothing to worry about and then a few days later will remember to ask you about your meal and if you enjoyed the food. Clemantine who works at the mystique restaurant is completing an internship and is relatively new. I know she misses her family back home and may even feel a little homesick at times. Yet everyday she has a beaming smile, ensures you’re happy, takes the time out to speak to you and offers wonderful service. She is an asset to the Westin Team and I really feel like the team should do something sweet for her to help with the feelings of feeling homesick. She deserves it! When having breakfast and dinner. There were two ladies in particular who were AMAZING! Renoo and Artee; their hospitality was excellent, they went above and beyond to ensure we were well catered for and ok. I had a reaction on my legs to the mosquitos and Renoo regularly told me to apply aloe vera and checked up on me to ensure I was ok. Everyday, without fail when I arrived for breakfast. You can really tell that these people care about you. Artee was also excellent, she was so sweet, caring and wanted to ensure we had everything we needed and that were well looked after. Nothing was too much for her. She went so above and beyond for me and my husband. My husband booked a special meal overlooking the sea and Doomun the manager at mystique took care of us. He ensured all our dietary needs were met. He ensured the setting was perfect, ensured our food was exquisite and took several photos of us to capture the memory. Doomun was great and took the time again to ensure we were happy and our needs were met. Our package included champagne but due to medical reasons I couldn’t consume alcohol, he happily swapped this for drinks of our choice. On the night my husband and I wanted to order food from two different restaurants, he also accommodated this easily and ensured that the food came out together, hot and in time. The service truly was excellent. He built a personal relationship with us, got to know us and offered exemplary service. He was wonderful. Bryan was also wonderful, he regularly checked-in to ensure we were ok, that our taxi's were booked. Helped with our bags and ensured we had everything we needed. He made sure we were happy, comfortable and having a great time. The rest of the team at the Westin were also great. The reception team in particular, Mohit was wonderful and also remembered key details like the fact that it was my birthday. He wished me a happy belated birthday when he saw me and ensured I had a wonderful stay. And helped my husband to arrange a romantic surprise meal for me. He was wonderful! One evening, guests in a room next to ours were too loud and disturbing our sleep. One phone call and 4 minutes was all it took for the team to contact security. Within 4 minutes security had reached the room of the guests next to us and asked them to keep the noise down. I also had an allergic reaction to mosquitos. The reception team promptly informed the nurse and the hospital doctor. Within 3 hours, I was seen by a doctor, taken to the hospital, administered medication and then promptly transferred back to the hotel. The service was exceptional once again. The once we were going out early prior to 6am for excursions. The reception team promptly arranged breakfast and lunch packs for us which catered to our dietary needs and ensured they were ready for us for 5.50am. The packs were great and included plentiful snacks, pastries, sandwiches, fruit, biscuits, water and juices and kept us full and happy until we returned back to the hotel. Whilst we were gone, Manisha ensured all our dinner reservations were made for us. It was great, I finally felt like I didn’t have anything to stress or think about! The manager at the seasonal taste restaurant also went out his way to cook meals of our choice to cater to our vegetarian needs one evening as the menu on offer on the day of dining didn’t offer vegetarian food of our liking. The portions were great. Nothing was too much trouble. I truly recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone travelling to Mauritius. You will have the most wonderful time and the people around you will elevate it to the next level. This hotel is definitely one of the best hotels in the world. I think it’s probably better than the over-rated Lux and the staff will allow you to have a “real” holiday with no worries, no stress and truly allow you to switch off. Thank you for EVERYTHING.
