Pros-Lovely gardens around the resort, also nice water area with lots of various fish and the odd Egret fishing, room cleaned each day, only short distance to beach with plenty of sunbeds and windbreaks. Cons-Rooms felt really dated and cheaply furnished. Not much to do inside

Like many properties in Egypt, this Radisson resort suffers from lack of investment by management. I would call this a three-star property at best, certainly not five. There was a ghastly, sewer odor in our bathroom when we first walked in, and they refused to move us that

We spent a week in this resort and left with the feeling that we overpaid... The ameneties of the hotel are decent, the rooms are ok but nothing stands out nor did it give us at anytime a 5 star feeling. Maybe we had higher expectations, comparing it with other resorts we stayed

Good place to stay to relax before or after a Nile cruise. Good points are the hotel complex which is clean and well laid out. The rooms which we stayed in particularly 1902 were nice. The reef was good to snorkel on but no where near as good as Safaga which is an hours journey

Use the cash point at the airport or in the hotel. The Egyptians seem to prefer the Euro or even better the dollar. Mainly because it’s a harder currency and they can charge you more. $1 sounds much cheaper psychologically than £17 Egyptian when being asked to pay to use the toilets at the tourist attractions. However, if you are paying E£ the price the asked was usually E£5. See what I mean? Not much money but the higher the price the bigger the difference. My advice would be to take your debit card and use Egyptian £’s

You can enter the sea from different beaches, or the pier over the reef. The beaches are all sandy.
