Yet another GREAT stay at Inn at the Ridge. The great hospitality coupled with the inn's central location to hiking, climbing, antiquing and much more makes it the ideal location. My wife and I stayed with our three dogs who love the Inn as well. We were accompanied my son and his girlfriend who enjoyed sitting by the pond and...

John and Gina, Thank you for bringing your Son and his Girl Friend. Scott seemed to be out of his element to start, but it seemed like he warmed up and became calmer and more relaxed towards the end of your week stay. I know you and Gina had a blast at the Hunter Mountain Area. There is so much...

It was an amazing experience staying at the Inn. The hosts Sal and Bev were very warm and friendly. The bedroom was comfortable and charming. The bathroom was clean and dry . We helped ourselves to the stocked fridge and Sal even gifted us a bottle of wine( for my husband's birthday). Our Pug Manny didn't want to leave at...

Hello Rachna, Witin and of corse MANNY. First and foremost I must say again as I have said this when you were here, MANNY made me smile every time I approached him. His small presents gave off a hugh effect to me. His always happy wiggling self, wanting to be your friend with nothing to expect but a little petting....

We had an excellent time on a pop up to Minnewaska with our dog. We stayed at the Inn and enjoyed delicious feast breakfasts with everyone else staying at the hotel. Be prepared, this is much more quaint Country House than an Inn or other bed and breakfasts we've been to with large rooms and more typical hospitality-like amenities. But...

Thank you so very much sharing your review with the TripAdvisor community. Bev and I feel that this is a major way to let future guests know how we are doing. We are so pleased that you enjoyed the area of our Hudson river Valley. If you ever have a feeling to get away in the future, please do not...

Recently my wife and I had to travel to New York on family business. We chose to stay at a Bread and Breakfast that was pet friendly. What we found was great Inn and perfect Innkeepers. From the first phone conversation with Sal & Bev till the time we pull out of the driveway we were treated with kindness; compassion...

Thank you Doc and Carol, The circumstances that brought you here to “Inn At The Ridge” were unfortunate. We tried to make life for you while your away from your home less difficult. You both were gracious guests and have such a lovely family member “SPICE”. I have heard of the breed, but never were so pleased with such a...

My boyfriend and I really needed a nice, quiet and relaxing get away to de-stress and the Inn at The Ridge was the perfect place for us. We are cyclists and found this B&B very serendipitously. We were on a ride about a month or so ago and decided to stop and take a few photos of some cows with...

Hello Judy, I am so pleased you and your Boyfriend had a great time with us. We try to do better each and every time we have new guests. It was such a great story you told in the review about speaking to a guest while you were checking out the cattle across the road of our “Inn”. We are...

My Husband and I took a trip out to the Inn At The Ridge. We were only there for 2 nights but it was wonderful. This is our first experience bringing our sweet dog with us, and we, all three, felt so welcomed by both Bev and Sal. We've also never stayed in a B&B built in the 18th century, and the fact that the age of the house showed in all but the bathroom, was part of the charm. We so admired all the...

Hi Mary, Bev and I would like to thank you very much for such a great review. It is our goal to make everyone as relaxed as possible from their arrival to their departure. The B&B is lovely, the owners very nice. This is a pet freindly B&B, I thought that would be nice. What I did not know was this meant guests lock their dogs in the guest room to bark all hours of the day and night. If you don't want to hear barking don't stay here. Not a quiet restfull B&B.

Hello and thank you so very much for giving us your review. We have been pet friendly for 7 years from 2007 to the present 2013. It would be foolish of me to say that our Dog guests do not bark. What Dogs do is communicate thru their only process they know and that is to bark. We have a...

“2 rooms have private bathroom, and 2 rooms share the downstairs bathroom. The rooms without the bathrooms have bigger beds...its your choice. I think you'll be happy either way, its just your preference. Rooms in the back (no bathrooms) face the back of the property and are super-quiet as there is no street noise...(which isnt too bad anyway.)”
