Wonderful BnB located conveniently down the road from the Americana Winery. Not really in Trumansburg, New York. ( located in Covert area). Located on a corner, but eventhough close to the roadway it was quiet. Has a nice landscaped yard. The owner was very nice and informative about the area. Rooms were small, but cozy. The owner provide appetizers and...

Thank you for taking the time to post a review of the Black Walnut B&B. We greatly appreciate you rating us a "Great B&B" and mentioning positive accolades about the innkeeper, the garden, the breakfasts, our closeness (walking distance) to the Americana Winery, etc. You mention that the rooms are small but cozy. We have one accommodation that we would...

The Black Walnut B&B is a wonderful warm and cozy place to stay when visiting The Finger Lakes. Jack the innkeeper greeted us at the door and made us feel at home right away. We started our day with an amazing breakfast made by Jack and ended it with our group of eight enjoying wine in the living room. Close...

Our group of eight friends stayed three nights at this charming 215 year old B&B. Innkeeper Jack, made us feel right at home. This B&B offers a separate kitchen for guests to share which was wonderful. We had fun happy hours and Jack was often part of our group. Jack was friendly and provided great input about places to visit...

Stayed for the second time for a fall vacation: great breakfasts, friendly, helpful owner, small but nice room in a very good location for Finger Lakes/wine region exploration. Lots of small things that add up to a comfortable stay - cookies in the evening, a take-away bag with some small snacks, and Jack is glad to help you find things...

My husband and I found this inn online and would definitely stay again. The house, built in 1801, is lovely and very comfortable, and Jack Moore is a wonderful host. When we arrived he offered fresh made cookies, wine, and newly harvested NY apples. Plus little bottles of drink were in our room. So generous. The homemade breakfasts were the...

My sister and I recently stayed at the Black Walnut while on a driving trip through the northeast seeing family. The Inn is an old farmhouse, and the rooms were clean and cozy. It is in the scenic Finger Lakes region of upper New York, with multiple wineries and small towns nearby. The glassed in back porch with white wicker...

My husband and I stayed at the Black Walnut Bed and Breakfast with our family while visiting Interlaken for a wedding weekend. What a great place! Jack was the ideal host and a wonderful chef. We especially enjoyed the sun porch on the back of the house, and thought the antique, yet modern decor was an interesting combo. I'd highly...

I stayed here recently, and I was amazed by the service, I received. The owner - Jack - was really friendly and helpful on places to visit, besides what I already had planned to visit.
