This was our first time at Embassy Suites by Hilton Syracuse Destiny USA. First impression was OUTSTANDING, the lobby and common areas were beautiful and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. I was excited to see our room based on our first impression of the lobby unfortunately our room was a huge disappointment, a real disconnect from the rest of the hotel. The room was dirty, sofa and chairs filthy, red stains all over the carpets, stains on the box spring and the most disgusting of all was what appeared to be feces on the wall beside the toilet. It appears that housekeeping does the absolute bare minimum. On the plus side the breakfast was incredible and the evening reception was great. This hotel is definitely not worth the price they charge. Wouldn’t stay here again. …
First time back in the states since Covid and the Hilton did not dissapoint. Arrived at the hotel at 11:30a.m. so we were way early greeted by a gentleman at the front desk and told they were sold out last night but he could check us in probably in a hour nice surprise since I have two children. Working in hospitality this man is a keeper friendly and attentive. Came back at one the room was ready clean and immaculate couldn't ask for anything better. Went to the mall and came back for the manager's reception where two ladies were working the bar area. Even when my kids went up and asked for virgin shirly temples these ladies engaged with the kids and smiled and did it. For a area where the snacks our free and you get a couple drinks for free the staff seemed to be having a great time good to see all smiles. What a great little area and again the service was more then fantastic. I did not run into one staff member who was not friendly they all seemed to enjoy their jobs and atmosphere kuddos to the hiring manager. Again upon checkout the lady working wanted to make sure everything was great. That's why we always stay at the Hilton brands great service clean rooms that keep you coming back. Thanks for the great stay and atmosphere.…
We have spent two weeks in US visiting many several hotels pans this one is in our top #3. Close to a large commercial / entertainment mall. For breakfast a chef is there for pancakes or omelets on demand. Super clear. Beds were the best (size, quality) we had.
We had to book the room at the last minute (from the airport). Everyone we dealt with was professional and friendly. The room was well kept and clean. The hotel restaurant (I think it was called Grey Goose) was FANTASTIC. Highly recommend this place.
Check in was smooth with friendly staff, Room was spacious and comfortable for three people. Fresh soft towels in the clean bathroom. Soft plush bedding made for a restful sleep. Location was within minutes to many fun activities
Jaylin was awesome,Autumn was great also. We had gone there for the weekend to watch our son play baseball. Tommy the omelette chef was fantastic. Saturday we went out for the day and came back had a few drinks before heading out with our son for dinner that we hadn’t seen in 2 months. Upon returning we saw the bartender Jean Louise who was there earlier, I said hi JEAN LOUISE we are back to visit you and I proceeded to the bathroom. She did not see my wife go over to the bar and said to the people sitting at the bar “I do not know that person, he must not be a good tipper and probably only comes here during happy hour”. She was also RUDE to two women as she told them they could not sit at the bar because she was saving the seats for her friends, who were not there yet. I was there at happy hour but I paid for my drinks because I did not drink what they were offering during happy hour. At that point we decided to go to our room for the night thanks to JEAN LOUISE. Our weekend was great until the last night of the trip. She definitely is not someone I would want working my bar.…
The room was way too hot. It was 75 degrees when we walked in, and we found out it can only be set as low as 68 degrees, but never really gets that low, it was 70 degrees all night and I was too hot. We were told it is an environmental/ecological system put in. It also stops cooling when you leave the room. We also put a note in our reservation to have the sofa bed made up, but it wasn’t and we had to request bedding and make the bed ourselves. The free breakfast was good. And we liked that the suite had a wall and doors between the bedroom and living room areas. However, with so many other hotels to choose from in the area I would not stay here again nor recommend it to others.
for someone from the south the AC's in the rooms suck. i was not told when set below 65 the AC stopped working, so 68 was the lowest you could. the room never got to 68 in the two nights i stayed. i will never stay there again. another person in our party said the same.
Absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. The moment we walked into the reception, it is beautiful and clean. Staff all smiling , very welcoming. The bar and restaurant very modern. Check in was easy and pleasant. Easy to get to off I81. Loved it!
We really enjoyed our stay . We brought our girlscout troop for an over night before we took them to the mall. They had a wonderful time and all of the staff were wonderful. Everything was very clean and neat.
