This place was brushing horrible please do yourself a favor and don’t waste the money ! When we first got there it all seemed ok but had about 15 drunk guys making nasty remarks and hanging out the window smoking pot!! About 6 pm we come back from dinner and I go to take a shower and see mold throughout the bathroom and you can clearly tell it Had not been cleaned in a while so I cleaned it the best I could as it was the only hotel here ! We had rented the suite and when we used the sink in the living room we ended up with a puddle of water on the floor ! About 8 pm I had taken my kids clothes down to wash them and the night staff had taken out the clothes half way through and threw them in a bad with soap etc still all over them and set them on the dryer when she came out the back room she was laughing and sorry about that and yes I got snippy at this point I was fed up as my kids had to deal with enough at this place as it was and the whole building stank of pot etc so I expressed to her all my concerns and she asked what room we were in etc I thought maybe she would help but NOPE instead I got banned from the hotel for being concerned oh and at 6am the next morning we woke up to the building fire alarm going off due to the drunk people smoking in the building ! This place is a big health hazard and needs to either be shut down or new crew members !…

Thank you for choosing Super 8 Sidney by Wyndham for your hotel accommodations. Unfortunately we had no report of any issues on your room during your stay. We did however find the puddle in your room after check out and did immediately fix the sink. Our suite is rented quite often as it is the only one in the building so it is cleaned frequently by our housekeeping staff. Our staff if not responsible for any guest laundry left in our washer or dryer for an extended period of time. If another guest chooses to use the laundry facilities and removes your laundry that is beyond our control and not the responsibility of the hotel. We do apologize for the inconvenience that the fire alarm caused all of our guests but unfortunately it was caused by steam from a shower which again is beyond our control.

Where oh where do I begin... Let's start with the staff... Unprofessional, literally half asleep and a complete lack of customer service skills. The room... Dirty, SMELLY, old. Carpets were stained and haven't been vacuumed in a while. Mold in the shower, dirty toilet. Balled sheets, food left in fridge from God knows when. The bed was HORRENDOUS! I could feel the springs in my back, not to mention, a concrete slab would have given a better nights sleep. I could go on and on, you get the picture. No elevator people, keep that in mind. Schlepping luggage up 2 flights of steps isn't pleasant. Oh yeah and just so you know, when the staff goes out the side door to smoke, they stick a piece of wood on the door jam to prop it open. Security is out the window considering the stairs are literally just inside that door. I used that door several times during my stay and I always found it propped open. These people that gave this dump great ratings, clearly don't get out much. Do yourself a favor people...Stay FAR FAR Away. Oh and before the hotel responds with the stock "Did you contact the front desk during your stay with your concerns? We didn't find a report" YES, YES I did and she was completely useless and that's why you didn't find a report. …

The place is old and in need of some serious TLC. The key to the door didn't work at first, then the light in the room. Staff member was disgruntled. No compensation or apology was offered. For 140$, I would not recommend this hotel.

Hotel is aging and it shows. Okay if you just need a quick place to stay for a night. We were there for 5 nights so hot old fast. In the middle of nowhere. No decent food or services are close by. Expensive for what is offered.

This hotel is not worth the price they are charging. $110 for this rundown hotel is a rip off. The included breakfast was comprised of a snack pack of peaches and coffee. I would not recommend this hotel to anybody and suggest to go on to the next town of Oneida where there are more hotels to choose from.

No fitness or business center, big rooms, parking wasn't great. Coined laundry in the main hallway. No real service, bathing area was below average. I wasn't impressed or disappointed by anything other than the room size which was far more than I expected for the price

Room was clean and comfortable, good air conditioning, wifi; steps away from a good Pizza Hut and a Dollar General for amenities. Staff was friendly. While I was there (two nights) the only vending machine was broken and I received no housekeeping.

I have stayed at this place before when I visit family and it is simple but adequate. However, I stayed here over the New Year's weekend and was quite disappointed. Staff didn't always wear face coverings even though customers were required to. In addition, I expected the rooms to be clean especially with the most recent Covid outbreak but our bed covering was full of cat/dog hair.

Looking for rooms near Oneonta, but a lot were booked. I knew this was not a high end property but the reviews seemed OK. The desk clerk was nice. The halls/room smelled like stale smoke...yuck! The room was clean, but old and worn. The desk chair had a big burn hole in it. Beds were fine. We were on the bottom floor, so you could hear the upstairs guest stomping around, and....of course there was a barking dog nearby! I like dogs as much as the next guy but pet friendly hotels are the worst. Breakfast was granola bars, fruit cups and coffee; why bother. Price point was far too high for what was offered.
