This is a B&B (rather than an inn as such or a hotel). The room was clean if somewhat Spartan with a bed, chest of drawers and a chair. There was also a built in wardrobe with four coat hangers. The en suite facilities were spacious with a shower rather than a bath. The air con (which we needed) is...

The furnishing of the house is quiet new and very neat, also the bathrooms (one bathroom per guest-room). But there was no typically bed&breakfast-breakfast (either B&B atmosphere), no one served ham and eggs e.g., because no-one of the staff was there in the morning. Therefore it was like having breakfast in a motel. service: on 1st floor is a hairdressing-store:...

Just spent 2 beautiful nights and 3 days at this lovely inn with my husband, Tom. The owner has made this home a lovely place to stay when you are away from your lovely home. From the front door to the dining area to your bedroom-it's all been thought out and well done. We stayed here during Labor Day as...

We stayed here for 2 nights when our families house was overflowing with guests this past July 4th weekend. The place was wonderfully air conditioned on one of the hottest days of the year, so everyone back at our hot house was jealous of our B&B experience. The room had an en-suite bathroom and was very clean and well maintained....

We stayed two nights in Honeymoon Cottage behind the Inn. The cottage is nicely sized and comfortable. The bathroom is spacious as is the shower and separate whirlpool tub. The room was clean although some bugs did appear in the room and one crawled across the bed. The inn is well located on the island. We have stayed at many...

This is a friendly and clean B&B located in eastern Long Island from which to explore the wine country and Montauk Point Light. We took advantage of a Travelzoo special and were not disappointed. Don't expect too much in the way of personal service. The breakfast is a do-it-yourself afair as is the checking in and out. Our room, #4,...

True to the other reviews, there was no staff my husband and I could see on site. Our room key with our names was taped to the door inside the building. We had no needs that weren't already met, and we were confident that if we had to make a phone call to the proprietor; he would be available to...

I stayed at the Candlelite Inn on a discounted deal and thus I must admit my expectations weren't high due to the low price point. The Inn is clean and comfortable, it feels as though you might be at a friends home. Do not expect any service throughout your stay as there is no visible Inn keeper. I personally enjoyed...

All first sight it deserves an average rating in comparison to the many bed and breakfasts i have stayed in, probably not worth mentioning on tripadvisor. The house is nice, rooms are clean, room interior somewhat unremarkable, breakfast is a self service selection of packaged, processed items. The owner mostly communicates through post-its. Prices are off the charts but I...

Booked this B&B last minute, as could not get in anywhere else on the island. The rooms were a good size and very clean. The beds were very comfortable and despite the thin walls we both slept very well. Breakfast was a self service buffet, consisting of tea/coffee, a selections of juices, yoghurt, cereals, breads to toast and muffins, and...

“Just note that the bathrooms are across the hallway from your room. They are very clean and we didnt find this to be an issue or inconvinience.”

“Not all rooms are unsuite, so request this if this is important. A room at the back of the house may also be quieter, if there are many people staying.”
