Edie and Joe are lovely people and this little spot is cozy, comfortable, and right in town. The accommodations were appropriate, the room really clean, and when my shirt was wrinkled they gave me an iron and board no problem. (Perfect stay in every way.)

We have stayed at Amanda's Village Motel in Saranac Lake many times since our daughter has been attending Paul Smith's college. Edie and Joe are the greatest hosts and we've never had any issues. Very clean. We end up getting the same room each time and it has a mini fridge in it, flat screen tv, etc. We don't mind...

We spent 8 nights at this wonderful motel and can not wait to return. After a week at a so called "Big Hotel" chain we found the nicest place in the village. Location is perfect for all of your needs. Walking distance to fine dining, downtown and directly across the road from the Lake Flower boat launch. The owners take...

Our kind of place! Older, but VERY clean and the owners could not have been more friendly. And extremely centrally located so we could walk to everything. First night we walked about a mile to the Blue Line Brewery for dinner. Next day we walked downtown for breakfast and scouted out our Rail Explorers site. (Bicycle rail cars). GREAT adventure....

We arrived in Saranac Lake by canoe after traveling over the past 6 days from Old Forge NY. We have a couple of establishments in the area that we normally stay when not camping in the Saranac area. After calls to both of them and finding them full, we stopped over at Amanda’s on the chance that they may have...

We were extremely happy with our stay at this very clean, friendly motel. The rooms and grounds were spotless and the owners, Joe and Edie, were terrific hosts. It was like we had known them for years. They were very helpful with information and suggestions for great places to eat and visit. We will definitely come back when we are...

Joe and Edie are fabulous owners. We stayed here for only one night having to pick up our daughter in Lake Place...wish it could have been longer. Excellent location - close to lake, town. If your looking for a Holiday Inn Express ~~ this is not it. It's personal attention from the owners and their dog, Tristen that make this...

My husband and I have been staying at this motel for about the past 10 years. The motel is conveniently located on Rt 86 across from the lake. There is a boat slip about 2 blocks away. Its an easy walk into the town and a quick drive to Lake Placid. The Wild Center is only about a 20 minute...
