We spent two days in the very nice hotel and were happy with the service and the amenities provided. Were lucky to have had good weather. Enjoyed very much the fireplace at the bar. We recommend this hotel without reservations and will be looking forward to returning.

The hotel is charming with beautiful, nautical inspired decor. We came for an off season getaway and got to enjoy the quiet charms of Sag Harbor. We had a drink at The American Hotel and dinner at Wolfer Kitchen. We enjoyed the great boutiques that line Main Street.

We, a family of 4, stayed here in April 2017 for 2 nights. The room was very clean and spacious with a beautiful decor. The hotel has bicycles for guests to use for free which our two teenage girls enjoyed very much. Unfortunately, the pool wasn't open yet. Staff is very friendly. On the second morning, we had to take...

We arrived one Saturday evening for a two night family break and found the bar (which spills over into the reception area) in full swing with a roaring fire and lots of people enjoying themselves (some rather uproariously but, hey, it was Saturday evening...). We found all the staff, front desk, bar, restaurant, room care all friendly and courteous without...

We came in off season with Groupon deal for 169/night. I can't imagine paying full price for the following reasons: 1) the rooms are nice, but the walls are so thin you can hear the conversation next door and decipher words even at normal volume. It does not make for a good nights sleep and this was in a practically...

Sadly, my friends and I did not have a great experience at this hotel. We had a room that was downstairs (hotel has 2 levels), close to the main house (where lobby, bar, restaurant are). EVERY NIGHT we were there, I was woken up several times in the middle of the night (1:30am- 2am) because of the noise created by...

Very friendly staff. Facilities are clean and in a refurbishing mode, so getting even better. Very comfortable and easy feeling pervades. Very cozy bar and sitting area with a fireplace. We went off season so pool and dining room were not open yet. The general area attractions and some restaurants were also not open as yet. Definitely considering stay there...

The location is perfect- you can walk into town in 3 minutes. The room was very clean and comfortable. Plush King bed, bar area, and nice bathroom. The best part is the outside picnic table and chairs. We didn't have much of a view but it was perfect to sit outside in the sun and have a glass of wine....

After a rushed dinner in Shelter Island (not our choice), we took the ferry back to Sag Harbor and came to a stand by place of my Brother and Sister in Law. Awesome choice!!! The band (female/male duo) was great, the atmosphere comfortable and the service attentive. As opposed to a rushed one hour dinner across the ferry ride, we...

Spent four nights here during the kids' spring break. Outdoor pool not open yet, but they put the tennis net up halfway through our stay. We had a two-queen-bed room, which was plenty big enough, and had a nice outdoor area, with some chairs and a table, overlooking the pool area. Fixtures and fittings are fairly high end, shower was...
