My husband and I recently spent 3 nights at the Harbor House Inn with other family members to celebrate a major birthday. The location in Sackets Harbor is ideal, the owners, Tom and Marsha, and staff are helpful and friendly and the rooms are small, but so well-designed and well-equipped that you won't notice! While there is not an inside gathering area, they do a nice job of laying out breakfast foods at a bar in the hallway each morning. You can dine in your room at the comfortable table and chairs, or take breakfast outside on a tray. The rooms are not equipped with mini-fridges, but Tom offered to bring one to our room when we asked about putting our food in a fridge. We loved our stay at the Harbor House Inn and highly recommend it to others.

A charming, well appointed spot with a very friendly, helpful staff. The rooms are furnished very nicely and the location cannot be best. A very short walk to excellent restaurants and a slightly longer stroll to see outstanding sunset views.

Charming inn in the heart of town! This inn has been recently renovated with beautiful Pottery Barn furnishings, lovely woodworking on the doors, and hallway and thoughtful touches in each room including a wreath on each door! Buffet breakfast bar right outside the room to grab coffee and a light meal. I’d definitely stay here again!

Gem of a hotel in village center. The proprietors are wonderful hosts. We appreciated learning about the hotel building’s history and the owner’s on-site presence. Modern linens, shower, robes and the most comfortable bed & pillows. A wonderful mix of old & new. Wifi with charming room keys on a key chain. Staff is friendly. The front desk clerk walked us to our room! That occurs seldom in my experience.

our stay was wonderful. we had rooms the Friday night of Whoville. The staff provided the kids with Whoville bags with candy and crafts. hot cocoa and coffee bar and candy dish near beverages { big mistake with our group lol}There was packaged breakfast items, juice , coffee, in the morning .They did an awesome job on the renovations . So beautiful! ! Their holiday decorations were perfect .Staff was very pleasant and right there to answer any questions. Best of all kids had a good time getting away for the night and enjoying Whoville . The green eggs and ham were pretty good in Whoville !

We had a great stay at the Harbor House this weekend. The rooms on the first and second floors are newly renovated and they're beautiful. Really comfortable, everything you need, lovely decor, great bathroom, feels like home. Renovations to the third floor are in the works. We had a small issue with our room, not the fault of the hotel at all, and they were so accommodating and helpful, even sending us mimosa makings even though the issue had nothing to do with them. It's a perfect location right in the center of town. We'd highly recommend to anyone and will definitely stay again.

We had an amazing time in Sackets Harbor! We stayed at the Harbor House Inn, which is conveniently located right in the middle of shops and restaurants, all within walking distance. Upon arrival we were greeted by friendly staff and were shown around the hotel. Our room was super clean and decorated for our anniversary! The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast is grab-n-go bagels, pastries, and coffee. We really enjoyed our stay and I cannot wait to return!!

You cannot beat the location central to all the restaurants in Sacketts Harbor. Pleasant staff, immaculate rooms and cleanings, and nice touches such as coffee and tea all day long, bagels, muffins and yogurt for a quick snack in am were all appreciated. Although we were placed in the lower level you could not hear any of the neighbors along side or above us. We booked one of the last rooms available so I probably would not go with the ADA lower level option if we didn’t have to again, since the window and ac unit are level with the lot so privacy can be limited. They do reserve for you the spot right outside the window which is helpful. I would definitely stay here again as it is a lovely inn… just in a different room.

We loved our stay at the Harbor House Inn. The front desk staff was polite and accommodating. They were able to give us a late check-out upon request. Our room was beautifully decorated, clean, and comfortable. The hotel is at an excellent location with many restaurants and attractions within walking distance. Don't miss out on this gem!

I stayed here with my grandchildren and daughter and husband and I it was nice we were placed in basement and my daughter on 3rd floor which was not renovated Loved the cute designs but when cold basement is not the place to be went home to visit family
