My husband and I stayed at this hotel 2 other times...one was good and one bad. This last Saturday night was just awful. There is no manager on duty during the evening or on Sunday morning. In the middle of the night there was a bunch of people making a racket for over 30 minutes, it was a cold night...

We recently spent 4 nights at the Roslyn Hotel. First the good. Very nice Hot breakfast every morning. complimentary USA newspaper. Interesting Bar area and cool lobby appearance, including comp coffee, tea or even soup in the afternoon. The Bad. Old window air/hvac unit controlled on the opposite side of the room. It seemed to never be warm enough or...

Everything except the elevator looks newly renovated. Very clean. Large closet in room. Free wifi. Nice free breakfast spread. Friendly and helpful staff. Only downside was stairs into hotel and into breakfast area. Also not much right around the hotel. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

My husband of 22years and I had a wonderful date night this past weekend, a seafood dinner on City Island at the Seashore Restaurant followed by a romantic night at The Roslyn Hotel. The lobby is beautiful, each level was different, and our room with a king sized bed gorgeous (and the complimentary soaps and shampoo not your standard they...

My boyfriend surprised me with a birthday weekend at the recently renovated Roslyn Hotel. He had called Sandy weeks before and made our reservation. Despite Sandy being inundated on the phone, she was very helpful to my boyfriend with our reservation. We arrived and were given a quiet room, as requested, but the couple next to us seemed to forget...

Nice staff, good bedd and bedding, seems like its been updated semi-recently. One of the most appreciated features was the citrus water and fresh soup available every evening we were there. Nice touch after traveling all day! Breakfast offered as well - eggs, pancakes, oatmeal, potatoes, breads. All fine, and the area was just the right size. The bath had...

Nice receptionist point us to "welcome" warm soup, tea, coffee, and homemade cookie collection. Facilities are a little worn on the edges but fine. Mostly clean. Breakfast is better than most that are included with hotel stay: oatmeal, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, bacon, regular eggs, fruit. Low water pressure and tired bathroom made end of evening average, but still felt...

I visit my sister in Port Washington often and there aren't many options for hotels close by. We usually stay here, but not because of any merits of the hotel--it's more for convenience. It's pricey for what they offer--an aging physical plant whose rooms have bizarrely small windows; shlocky decorating and old bedspreads; and dirty rooms (I always encounter something...

Staying at the Roslyn (for our second time) was truly an experience to remember. I surprised my wife for our anniversary and the hotel gave us a free upgrade. Our baby ended up being sick so with one phone call I was able to request a crib with no problems. The hotel also had our Colbeh order waiting for us...
