Roscoe Campsite Park is a place to create new memories of what camping should be. You can sit on the peaceful shores of this special free stone stream and watch for Bald Eagles, Blue Herons, Osprey, and other native birds that visit the park. You can fish these magical waters for Brown, Brook and Rainbow trout like so many legends of Fly Fishing who have casted their lines in the past. Outdoor activities such as hiking, biking or kayaking are available to fill your days. Sitting by a campfire sharing stories of the day are a perfect way to complete your park adventure, or plan a new one.

The grounds were in poor shape. We rented a cabin for $250.00 a night and were very disapointed. The grass was not cut except were they could use there large ridding machines. Not even any push mowing done alone weed trimming. The finnish on the cabin-trailer is pealing off. The shutters on the outside are hanging and totally fally apart. The driveways are rough and need some attention. The small rock wall near the trailer was falling down with no attempt to reposition the manufactured stone. This could have been fixed in a half hour or less. There was over a inch of water where we had to park and had to walk through it to get into our vehicles do to being a low area with no stone to bring the grade up. There was sand on the floor and on the couch when we got there. We asked for a broom on the first day of 4 nights but never received one. Save you hard earned dollars and go elesewhere. There were 3 or 4 guys ridding around on toatgoats but I never seen any of them working. Poor, really poor!

I found this place as a possible seasonal site. Went to visit and spoke to Kaylie. I like that the campsite was small, quiet and on a river. At the time of my visit, I was promised one of 2 sites, one that would be available and one that the current occupants had not decided if they would return for the next season. I told Kaylie that I would take either site. I was promised by Kaylie that I would know which site I was getting but never heard from her. I left numerous messages but no return calls. After a few weeks, I decided to take a ride to the site (2 1/2 hours), met with Kaylie and was told numerous excuses for her not responding. I had check in hand, but she told me not to pay until the contract had the site I was getting. She gave me her cell # and told me that this is the best and quickest way to get her...not really! Again, after numerous messages and now numerous text messages (which I know she read), I got no response. I wound up going to another place which I like but don't love. I have no idea why I was not extended the courtesy of a phone call to say that the promise they made me had changed. They opted to just ignore me. Good luck in dealing with them.

This is the first time I am ever writing a review. I always read them but never actually write one Our group had a tent site and a deluxe cabin The sites are too close together. They are horrible sites. They have construction going on and it was literally infront of our tent site. Camping with construction vehicles going on is not camping. At check in I told the office the tent site was horrible and not acceptable at 65.00 / night. They offered the person in the tent to put his tent up on the cabin site with us. What kind of solution is that ? After you charged him for the joke of a tent site you offer that ? They should make people aware that this construction is going on and they don’t. Also the campground backs up to a major highway so you hear the sound of traffic all night. That’s truly camping??? This campground is only concerned with cramming as many sites in to a small campground. The only thing going for this place is the beautiful Beaverkill River. What an absolute waste of time and money.

Had a great time going here the first weekend in October with friends. As I am a beginning camper we stayed in a "covered wagon" super cool and loved having the bathroom/ sink basically 10 feet away. They had a nice weekend with live entertainment, a clay shooting trip and nice tastings of local food & beer. Can't wait to return (but will definitely wait until the weather gets warmer!)

We had a gathering of about 40 of us for the weekend of Aug 21st. It is a pretty campground with lots of trees. The owners were so nice and made all of us feel welcomed. We got out in the river tubing... some where fly fishing in the early morning. It’s nicely located so we drove over to the Bethel Woods Museum on Sunday.

This campground has a great location and potential to be a beautiful place. The cabins and sites by the river give you the sounds of a moving river with wildlife including a resident bald eagle! I did some fly fishing each day and there is easy access to the river to are max by the chilly water. I was camping and the utilizes are very new. So new that the ground was not yet groomed and planted or secured with gravel.the restrooms are clean. The cabins are very nice with a wide range of amenities. The deluxe cabin has it all but the covered wagon is sparse but charming. I will be back.

What a nice little family oriented campground. Easy booking process. When we arrived we were told to choose a site (they weren’t fully booked). We choose the site next to our original site. Right by the alpaca and goats they have. River view site. The smell of poop is faint (I wouldn’t want to smell it in the summer) but the views are amazing. The staff is so friendly. We were having issues with our electric and they came right over and just handed us a converter. The park is clean and everything is clearly labeled. Steep road to pull in so be careful. We will be returning.

Great little log cabins on the Beaverkill. Unbelievable location for fishing and birding. I fished while wife found bald eagle in the treetops. Staff friendly and helpful. Small petting zoo on site -- perfect for kids. We will definitely go back.

We arrived on a Wednesday to spend the weekend at this campground in the Catskills. We were escorted to the river sites with electric and water. I didn’t see numbers on the sites and they didn’t seem to correspond with the campground map found on their website. We were told to chose a site. We picked the one with the double amount of concrete. Our camper was parked on one half and the other half was under our awning. It worked out very well since it was an extremely wet weekend. I was very happy with that aspect of the campground. However, the shower house can make or break a trip for me. Unfortunately, this shower house ruined the trip for me. It was relatively clean, as shower houses go, but the changing area is not private. There are 3 tiny shower stalls with curtains, and a common dressing area for all of the showers. When I took a shower on Thursday the rug outside the shower stall was soaking wet, and squished when I stepped on it. On Friday they had put down fresh, clean dry rug, so they must cater to the weekend crowds. I would have preferred some type of plastic mat that would have drained the water away rather than a disgusting wet rug. If we would have had full hook up, I would have showered in our camper. Friday evening the campground was fairly full and it was a very hot day. Our air conditioner stopped working and so did our neighbors. It eventually came back on, but our refrigerator stopped working. We ended up leaving a day early because we were afraid our A/C would go out again, plus we lost all the food in our refrigerator. We assumed the problem was with our trailer, but once we got home everything worked fine. The electrical system at the campground must not have been able to handle the load on that hot day. So, there are a few reasons we would not return to this campground. ,

Rented a cabin there, Lou had referred me to this place and he didn't let me down. Tubing, nature, clean quarters and good company. We rented a nice cabin there, it has all the amenities of home. We are normally tenters when we go camping, but wanted a comfortable escape. Staff is nice and informative. The river is fun.
