As noted in the description this is an older building, and as a result it has some quirks.

Some of my friends were in the motel building, others (myself included) were in the main house.

My room was pleasantly sized and the bed/linens were fresh and comfortable. The extension cord was apparently not plugged in and short of crawling under the bed, I couldn't find where the other end belonged. At one end of the floor heater were 2 or 3 random plugs that didn't seem to go anywhere.

The bathroom was TINY with a miniscule sink with no vanity or shelving on which to place my toiletries. The toilet seat didn't seem to be attached.

Others reported rooms were fine but bathrooms had a low-wattage overhead light with black shower curtains that made it pretty dark.

The dining/living area was fine. New replacement windows had been installed (though I don't know when) because the stickers are still on the windows.

Breakfast options were definitely on the sugary boxed side. Keurig machine was operational with 3 different pod options.

We stayed in the main house. The room is small but had a queen bed. We checked in after 8pm and had to call someone. Our key was in the door for us. There is coffee/tea, oatmeal, and cereal in lobby. No one was in the office when we checked out just a sign to leave key in a mailbox. This is a small no frills place to stay. It was cheaper than the limited other places to stay on route 17z

We stayed at the Reynolds House for a show at Bethel Woods. We arrived the night before and took some time to explore the area. The bed in the Rockefeller room was very comfortable! There were some updates made to the room but there is a mix of older furnishings as well. I’ve stayed at other places that are totally redone but have a cheap bed. The décor doesn’t matter if you don’t sleep good! The Reynolds House will be our choice when returning to the area. Thanks so much for a great experience.

The exterior looks nothing like the photos on this website. The building is in a state of advanced decay and disrepair and in desperate need of renovation. The interior is no better. Flimsy doors offer little protection. Worn out carpet and drapery and musky smelling bed linens. Outlets do not work. My room was cleaned poorly and there was mold in the shower. As a perfect example of the owner's clear lack of care for the place, a newer toilet was installed in the bathroom but the bar code had been left stuck to the front. An old, decrepit looking couch was in the TV room . The "free breakfast' is cheap snacks one might find at a Dollar Store and, considering the overcharge for the horrible room, is hardly free. The front porch was painted plywood that was splintering and peeling in various places. Windows were dirty and appeared not to have been cleaned in a long time. Upon arrival there was trash left next to the stairwell. All in all a bad experience from which I departed early.

Loved the Reynolds house Main house! Went up to Woodstock Bethel Woods to watch a concert this June and picked this place just from a Google search. I’ll tell you the lilac room was like staying in my grandparents house When I was a kid! It was old but comfortable, and I loved the ambience of the house! My new go to place when visiting Bethel Woods for a concert!

Owners are friendly and personable. Room was clean albeit small but very reasonably priced. I would stay here again. Lou offered fishing advice and went out of his way to make sure my trip was an enjoyable experience.

Very nice and helpful owners.Would have been better stay if they would have pet free rooms. Our blankets were dirty with hair and grass which took away some of the quality. The walls of the motel are paper thin and our next door guest had the T.V. loud until midnight when we asked him to lower it down.

Stayed in the motel which was a bit rustic, sort of like the 60s. The rooms are a little small but clean. It is very quiet and very little trafffic on the highway at night. They had free wi-fi and cable and it all worked well, so they are up to date and the price was very reasonable. It was a good deal in my book and better than staying in one of the chain motels in Liberty which is a 20-30 minute drive away and 40% more expensive. The veranda runs across the front of the motel rooms with chairs to make for friendly conversation with your neighbors. Lou the owner is a jolly guy who likes to sit on the front porch and chat with everyone about their day. My only disappointment was that breakfast was not included. Lou said there were not enough guests to make it worth while which took me back a bit, since the motel rooms were full. I don't know about the B&B rooms in the main house, but that should not matter. I would stay again.

This maybe perfectly fine if you are here fishing and staying at the motel, but if you are planning to stay here as a stop off on your journey then I would say keep on going.

The house is dark and creepy. The bedding didn't appear to have been washed as it smelt stale and had a long black hair on the sheet.

Another couple were given the key to our room and burst in when they arrived, when we were asleep which frightened us to death.

All in all I could not wait to get out of there.

On the plus side it's easy to find from the freeway, next to a gas station and walking distance to an Italian restaurant.

Stopped in Roscoe for an impromptu 3-day fly-fishing visit. We knew that August is not the best time for fly fishing but it was an easy deviation to our road trip. Louis (the manager) very friendly and helpful. We stayed in one of the motel rooms, which was equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, TV, and a second sink which came in handy. The room was perfectly adequate for our needs. When not fishing, we hung out on the porch with the free wifi. Could easily walk to the diner, ice cream stand, and "downtown" Roscoe. We intend to return to Roscoe in September and will definitely stay at Reynolds House.
