The Roscoe Hotel is a good, basic motel, with affordable prices (from $71 per night with AAA or AARP). Badly in need of repair and updating, but kind of quaint and a trip back to the 50's in terms of style of room and decor. Everything in my room worked fine (air conditioning, TV, hot water, shower, etc.), so a... More

Even though I have reviewed this motel before, I spent a week here in late July 2015. Water was a little above above normal summer level, and just cool enough to walk Beaverkill directly behind the motel. I was rewarded not once, but twice with 14" Brookies. What more can I ask..owners were gracious, room was clean, and enjoyed company... More

Staff seem ambivalent to guests - your tariff is collected and that seems it as far as any sort of care or responsibility goes. The signage, rooms and general buildings are all in need of care, and the 'breakfast' a non-event (stale donuts and watery Luke-warm coffee) despite what was advertised. If your looking for a cheap place to doss... More

I stayed here with my friends and their two children. We were up from the city on Memorial Day weekend to relax and to learn how to fly fish. The motel has seen better days, but it brought back a lot of nice memories for me of family vacations before the chains took over the scene. The rooms were clean,... More

Just left Roscoe and once again, had a nice stay. Yes, the buildings are old but so are most of us. Room was clean, owners were pleasant and fishing the Beaverkill, just behind the motel, is worth any small inconveniences. Stayed for a week and am looking forward to returning next summer. Miss the sounds of the Beaverkill, coming thru... More

We started going up to Roscoe, NY over 30 years ago. Then, this was a lovely motel with cute cottage-like connected rooms, a lovely pool and a breakfast spread. Over the years with several changes in management, the motel no longer has a pool, almost no breakfast to speak --- coffee, no decaf, cold donuts, no milk for cereal which... More

This place should be closed by the county health dept. Mold from previous floods and oder could be a health hazzard. If you must stay do not pay their $ 80 rate. The owners are inhospitable and uncaring. The must write their own reviews.
