My husband and I have been coming here for many years and never been disappointed. The rooms/beds are comfortable, the decor charming and the tranquility heavenly. Maggie serves a delicious breakfast that can hold you until the late afternoon and if it doesn't there are homemade pies, cakes and cookies to tide you over. The grounds are lovely. Always a...

This was our second time at Whistlewood and we will be going again. If you are looking for a great relaxing getaway near great little towns and attractions this is the place to stay. Nestled in the Hudson Valley, the rooms and house are immaculate and Maggie is always baking and eager to please with breakfast made from the freshest...

What a tip-top, well-run and most excellent B&B - truly a magical experience. The nearly 40 acres invites you to sit and relax in total peace and solitude, or to roam around and enjoy the big blue sky and fields, and the lovely horses and chickens, cats and dogs who call Whistlewood home. Maggie's breakfasts are unrivaled, hearty and super...

Whistlewood horse farm is a beautiful sanctuary. If you love animals and a peaceful escape in a tranquil environment you will appreciate what Whistlewood has to offer. Maggie's breakfasts are plentiful and delicious and there are fresh baked cakes and pies available throughout the day. We stayed here for two nights and had such a lovely experience. Maggie, the owner, is super nice, helpful, and makes you feel right at home. In the evenings she made a fire for us and we had full access to her kitchen, board games, and DVDs. Breakfast was amazing- farm fresh eggs made to order, homemade pancakes, french toast,...

Very nice spot about 2.5 hours outside NYC. On a true horse farm, but you can't ride them. Maggie is very helpful and cooks a pretty good breakfast and some really great pies and cakes which are left out for guests to have anytime! I'd say the place must be super beautiful in the summer but I was here in...

Thank you very much for your constructive critique of the Bed and Breakfast. I have taken note and will try to improve... Just so you know, the thermostat in the hallway is easily able to be turned up for more heat, by guests, at any time and the rooms have individual A/C in the summertime. The fireplace in the living...

Our family of 4 (two adults, two little girls) stayed in the Wyoming room, and we had a wonderful time. The room was spacious with enough beds to sleep us all comfortably, and the quiet of nature led to a great night sleep. We were awaked to delicious breakfast of fresh baked muffins, eggs straight from the chicken coop and...

We had a lovely stay on our recent New Year's getaway. The B&B is peaceful with the farm to walk around and the rooms are very comfortable - it was perfect for some rest and relaxation. Maggie was an excellent and thoughtful host. I have celiac disease and Maggie went out of her way to make gluten free muffins for...

This beautiful old farmhouse is located within the rural area of upstate NY. Warm country welcome smiles, great rooms carefully furnished with garden view, a staffed bear and an old piano located in the living room and a huge dining table always full of freshly baked pastries create a memorable atmosphere. A place to relax and enjoy nature, a place...
