Omega is a very restful place with a focus on spiritual and physical health. It has yoga, taichi, and meditation, and don't forget to get a massage. I stayed in a tent cabin which is a cheap way to stay, but I won't do that again--it's very dark when you have to make your way down to the bathroom at...

I went my first time ever, solo, in June for some R&R. Lots of stuff going on at home & at work had me frazzled. The general atomosphere IS a little hippie-trippy, but welcoming. IMO, Omega is homier than Kripalu. At Omega, I relaxed, ate well, made friends w/o trying, found the staff helpful & friendly. The campus is lovely....

Went here for a 3 day seminar on Energy Medicine back in October for a weekend and was very disappointed having been a regular at Kripalu (similar concept but located in MA) for many years. The food variety was poor (think rabbit food), and getting to the location is somewhat difficult. Check in required a long line even though I...

I've been to Omega myriad times over the past 25 years, and boy have they grown. Even their most basic dormitory accommodations are lovely, more than decent (it was a bit scarier 25 years ago). Their food is extremely healthy and delicious, all veggie, some vegan. Their coffee is fantastic, and plentiful. The dining hall overlooks a hill, and you...

I go every year to Omega to feed my soul and connect with myself. I usually do a workshop. This time did Panache Desai and Colette Baron Reid. I love Omega and the cleansing of my mind it offers. I do think they could improve on room amenities and food options. People have lots of choices. The campus is stunning...

THE OMEGA CLASS: Signed on for Lynda Barry's Writing the Unthinkable class (late July 2013), which was ten-force excellent. (See her book "What It Is" and her Near-Sighted Monkey tumblr feed for more.) I can't say enough good things about Barry, her teaching methods or this particular class, comprised of 70 bright lights, eager minds and outgoing personalities, some of...

I had attended a workshop at Omega in July 2011 and stayed on campus. It was quite hot and the fan at night didn't really cool things off. This year I stayed at the Pampered Bed and Breakfast less than 2 miles from campus and enjoyed having air conditioning at night and a bathroom that was shared with only one...

This was my 1st visit to Omega and I will try to come back. I did a yoga weekend retreat and it was great. The campus is very nice and not having electronics around or good cell service made it better in my opinion. I was able to touch base with home briefly and that was good enough. The food...

I went to Omega after many years absent. I only live 17 miles away, but that's life. Anyway my experience was excellent. I did a week long writers workshop that was awesome. I love the open, airy aspect of campus. Lots of space to walk about, nothing is more than a short walk away. The dining hall was good -...
