I have wonderful memories of summers spent in the Catskill Mountains and some of those memories include this wonderful place. Often times when we try to re-visit places from our childhood we are disappointed. I was not disappointed at all. A lot has changed in the Catskills since the 1970's but The Bavarian Manor is very much like I remember...

Went here with a party of 10. We had a delicious dinner. Waitresses were very friendly, checked on us several times to see if we needed more drinks, bread, etc. I would go back here again. I would love to spend the night at the inn part. Looks very inviting.

A neat old inn with lots of charm and really good service. Friendly place to get away from it all. The food is really good German home style cooking. We enjoyed our weekend stay. If you are in the mood for wiener snitzel or saur bratten among other neat dishes this is the place to stay.

We had a grea stay in the BM. The family is so warm-hearted an welcoming, we were invited to the bonfire they did for a familiebirthday at the first evening. All the stuff in this quiet hisorical place is arrganged in a nice way. The room was very clean, comfortable and lovely furnished. Breakfast was delicious and varied, also the...

Don't come if you're expecting a Doubletree. Come if you're looking for charm, lots of personality, and a wonderfully quirky inn. Being from Minnesota, I'd compare it to an old lake cabin. It's been 5 months and I still think about the breakfast. And there's a reason parking spots can't be found at dinner. We're planning a return visit to...

The inn is an old home, and, yes, not updated. But my girls loved the homey feel and the fact that there were books on the shelves! You don't get literature with your stay at the Holiday Inn! The entire staff was lovely -- from the cleaning ladies to the waitress. It is inconvenient that the restaurant is closed most...

It was super cozy and clean hotel, more like a house. Service was very welcoming. I loved furniture, it is very antique and we had a fireplace. Not far from the lake. Re-commanded for seasonal getaways.

The idea of the Bavarian Manor is a nice one, a secluded B&B escape from city life. And I'm sure it was a wonderful place to go in the 1960s, but it has not been updated since. The décor is so outdated and unkempt that it is literally peeling off the walls (floors, ceilings, pipes, etc). It looks and smells...

For those who know the meaning of the sentiment "gemutlichkeit", it sums up our experience at Bavarian Manor. Quite simply, an enjoyable, relaxing and delicious experience. A charming setting, with a friendly and accommodating staff, a comfortable bed and wonderful food. It is refreshing in this day and age to still find a place such as this that would even...

Your assessment of Bavarian Manor Country Inn will depend on what matters most to you personally. The staff could not be nicer, a bit slow on dinner service, but truly nice folks. Pictures in the halls speak of wonderful days gone by at the inn. So it is charming as to history. The facility is really quite old, which naturally...
