This was our first time dining at Bavarian Manor. It's a beautiful, country drive to the Inn. It's a large old colonial Inn with a large porch that extends the entire building. The grounds are well kept. The restaurant has an old world atmosphere, decorated with many vintage German items and pictures. The menu has a variety of authentic German...

Pulled up to see this is not a chain hotel, went to check in and found no one at the desk. After walking around a few minuets I found my name on a packet with a key attached. Rooms are small with small TVs, old furnishing. My room did have a slant into the hallway. I had no car, restaurant...

We stayed at the inn for 3 night. The place is from the mid-1800's, so there are a few squeaks, but the rooms for quaint and quiet! We had breakfast and dinner there each day - this was not our plan, but the food was so good we didn't want to go anywhere else. The bar was a friendly place...

This is a very old and Beautiful Inn. Started by the current owners grandfather. Susan is the Ultimate Hostess, very friendly and welcoming. Stan(her Husband) does all of the cooking. He is a great chef--makes the best Sauerbraten, and Roll-arden ever. He also makes several different types of Bratwurst. There is steak for the person that doesn't eat German type...

All in all a fun place. Friendly folks, old hotel ambiance and decent German food. We spent the night and the room had been refurbished, so it felt nice and the bed slept well and had most amenities including wifi. Negatives? Well, even with refurbishment, its a bit of a gilded lily, but we liked it. For old timers, there...

We visited with our small child and dog mid-week. Beautiful spot and friendly staff. Not fancy but has charm and character. Glad a place like this still exists. Enjoyed the individually decorated old fashioned rooms, the lake trail, and the fire pit. Good location to explore the Catskills.

Quiet get-away mid-week near Hudson NY. Great friendly service with Breakfast each day & dinner offered Thursday thru Saturday. The setting is peaceful, relaxing and a great change of pace from city living. Central location allows access to much of what the area has to offer. Rooms were comfortable and clean ( Single person Jacuzzi available in our room ).

We decided to try a meal at a place near our summer home...a place that had a good reputation. It was a great decision. The food was wonderful, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the employees are the friendliest HAPPIEST people you will ever find. One young lady told us how difficult it was to get a job there, because everyone...

When we arrived shortly after 4pm, there was no staff in sight. We had to wait about 45 minutes for someone to come to the front desk so we could get into our rooms. But, that was the only inconvenience during our stay. From that point on, we found the Baravian Manor to be quaint, cozy and very European in...

“We appreciated having a fireplace in the room, but the wind blew ours out frequently. The rooms on the other side of the hall didn't have that problem. If you're not familiar with the area and these roads, it's hard driving after dark, which comes early in the winter. And then the restaurant is closed :(”
