BED BUGS! We stayed at this hotel on our way up to Canada for one night. We got into the room late at night and were too tired to do our typical bed bug check…major fail on our part! We requested a cot for my daughter to sleep on since the beds were small (doubles) . We awoke the next morning with my husband and I having multiple bites on us (arms, torso, back). My daughter who slept on the cot had no bites. When we left that morning there was no one available to report to. When we called to report them to the hotel they responded, “No, we don’t have bed bugs!” Please check carefully if you stay here. You do not want to bring these home!

The hotel was quite outdated and needs some refresh. Well situated close to everything you need. Rooms are ok nothing fancy….but ok. They have a fridge so that was good….for a super 8, I have seen better than this one but for one night, this was ok

When we checked in, we were told that there was a 250 fine for smoking in the room. However the hallway reeked of pot. The smell was so bad we had to place a bedspread at the base of the door to block the smell coming in. Bath rooms were nasty and stains on the carper and walls.

Apologies to all who stayed here after I was there in October 2022. I wanted to write this review sooner but was in an ongoing dispute with Super8 regarding my request for a full refund and didn't want to jeopardize my chances by posting an unfavorable review. Now that I've received a full refund, I feel compelled to write this review letting everyone know that I was bitten by bedbugs multiple times on multiple nights while staying here. My complaints to the manager fell on deaf ears and he admanantly denied there were bedbugs in my room. He even produced a report from an alleged pest control company falsely stating there were no bedbugs in my room. As they say, a picture paints a thousand words. This place quoted me one price when I checked in for a 3-night stay and realized when I got home, they added $30.00 on the invoice. After contacting them many times they are still keeping my money. No room service for a 3-night stay. Breakfast is advertised but none was available. You have to call for a front desk person. Bedspreads have stains and hair in the shower. Worst Wyndham experience ever!!

Stayed here for one night, that was enough! Upon walking into the lobby, the smell of pot was prevalent. The girl behind the desk almost seemed a little perturbed that we were there to break up here day. She started off by telling us there would be a fine for smoking in the building, which I felt was comical considering the smell of the lobby. It took at least 10 minutes to check us in even though I had a reservation. Significant time was spent trying to figure out what room to put us in, which would be tough considering we saw only 3 cars parked at the hotel! It took her 3x to scan my credit card and finally we got to our room assigned. Later on our way out to dinner, she was sleeping in the chair. The room wasn't bad in appearance, however upon more looking around we noticed the mold in the shower, hair that wasn't ours in the tub. The toilet still had a "skid mark" in it from the previous guests, the toilet also moved when sitting on it. The sink faucet would rotate almost 90 degrees to the left when turning the water on as it wasn't secured. When we went to bed, the heat kicked on and was LOUD! It was a tough night sleeping, but in the morning when turning off the heat I saw the heating vent corroded with dirt/dust. I realize it isn't the Hilton, but just general cleanliness should occur with any hotel.…

Upon check in, went to front desk and showed pictures of smoke detector missing and screen on window ripped open. Also complained room reeks like smoke and we have the window open. (I recorded our conversation) However, 3 days later my card is charged $150 + room charge $89. Called and was told the $150 was for “disrespecting hotel.” Hotel Person told me there was smoking in our room. I explained no one was smoking in room, and our door and window were open because of the room smoke smell. Hotel Person admitted there were people smoking in hallway down from our room. Not our people, not my problem. However I got charged. Hotel person said they will not give me my $150 back. That is some shady stuff. Will never recommend, promote, or stay at this shabby, dirty, run down hotel again!!…

Very close to many snowmobile trails. Inexpensive if you want an early start. Italian restaurant is within walking distance. Fills up fast during the season, limited parking for trailers. Easy on off of route 81.
