Always accommodating to our group that holds an annual event every July in Plattsburgh. Rooms were clean. Check in/check out fast. Complimentary breakfast great. Hotel allows my group use of parking lot for meeting/event which is awesome.
The lack of hospitality is astonishing at this location. I would not refer this hotel to anyone. They are not looking to find solutions to any problems, service is a big zero. Also, room was outdated and breakfast was blend. Again, if you are looking for any type of decency or service, do not choose this hotel. Thank me later.
This is the old holiday inn hotel switched out to days Inn hotel ,needs a new elevator redo and carpets need to be cleaned. Breakfast ok,staff ok price was ok I like the parking and flexible hours to check in
I could not get to Plattsburgh until 8/5. Since I had reservations 8/1 -8/15, I tried to change the reservation to 8/5-8/15. The res agent said my new total would be $1500, so my total costs went from $1100 to $1500 to say 4 fewer days. I canceled and booked through Expedia.
We stayed at this hotel for one night in July. We really have no complaints. The front desk staff were very friendly. The breakfast was cold items only but still much more elaborate than expected (an “on the go” breakfast had been advertised). The room was spacious and clean. Cable was good. We can’t comment on the pool, gym, or wifi as we never used them. We would definitely consider staying here again if in the area.
The room was great and the breakfast was great. Scrambled eggs and sausage were available plus the usual toast and other carbs. The room was comfortable and spacious for us as a couple. I'm always up early while my husband sleeps in. It was well set up for that. We highly recommend this Days Inn location!
We were happy with room in general ,and its cleanliness . Heat was working well. Water pressure was good.Beds were comfortable. Internet and tv were both working. Hotel is close to all the restaurants and stores.
Our stay was not pleasant. After checking in we went up to the third floor and as soon as the elevator door opened we were overwhelmed with pot and cigarette smoke. The hallway absolutely reeked. Opened the doors to our rooms and the smell filled our rooms as well. The front desk came up after we called and they sprayed the hallway but made no moves to find out where the smell was coming from. The smells continued the remainder of the weekend. The room was not as clean as it should have been. Under the table and behind the chairs there was visible dust on the floor and wall. You can tell nothing gets moved while they “clean.” Our room smelled like stale cigarettes, which was exacerbated whenever someone took a shower. The tub and toilet were clean, which is appreciated. The head boards were dusty and looked like some sort of liquid was spilled on them and never wiped off. The pool and hot tub would be great if they cleaned the floor in that room on occasion. Wherever water pools up on that floor was extremely slimy. The hot tub was very dirty on the bottom. It was an overall unsatisfying stay.…
No complaints . Everything was professionally well done. I would return and invite friends and family to stay there. I found no fault at the Wyndham plattsburgh although it was a short trip I would make it a longer next time.
Everything is very out dated and old from lobby to rooms to the hot tub and pool…will not stay there again…jets in hot tub did not work nor did it reach temp…room next to the elevator that was old and kicked on a loud compressor everytime someone would use it…kept us awake all night long…very disappointing
