Just returned from a trip with friends to The Phoenicia Lodge. Great informal setting to kick back with friends . If you are looking for fancy, this is not your place. We rented a rustic cabin with a full kitchen and all amenities. Each cabin has their own picnic table and grill. They are air conditioned and heated for the...

First of all, the proprietors couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating; they went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The motel is located close to hikes, to the town of Phoenicia and several area restaurants. We were going to a family picnic at Belleayre Beach which was a 10 minute drive. The property is near highway...

The Phoenicia Lodge was perfect for the three days my boyfriend and I spent out of the city. It was exactly what we wanted: something quiet, clean, and affordable. We stayed in one of the motel rooms which was pretty small but we didn't spend a lot of time in the room so it worked out fine. The management office...

There are many things to like about this area and some things to like about the lodge but kind of worn down to rate much higher. The people running the lodge are really nice and do go out of their way to making your stay comfortable. The bed and bedding was clean and comfortable. The towels and bathroom amenities were...

Thanks for your review. Sorry you didn't entirely enjoy your stay with us, our buildings were built in the late 40s and some interpret that as not being well-maintained. For the record: we have plenty of windows that do indeed open and even have screens. We get to repairs as soon as possible (sometimes there are a few days while...

Stayed at this lodge over New Years and absolutely loved it! We got a personal cottage with full kitchen and bedroom for around the same price as a hotel. The owners are extremely friendly and the continental breakfast is an added bonus. The rooms are clean and I was extremely satisfied with everything here. I'll definitely be back. Great starting...

This is a well maintained property right on RT. 28 in Phoenicia. We stayed in one of the cottages which had all of the necessary creature comforts including a complete kitchen with full sized fridge. Although not advertised as a bed and breakfast, the continental style breakfast in the office reception area is pretty complete, offering coffee, tea, bagels, fruit,...

I got stuck out in the country with an unusual bike mechanical I couldn't fix, with night falling. When I called the lodge to inquire about a taxi service I could call, the owner came and picked me up, which was way beyond the call of duty. Much appreciated. As far as the overnight experience, I stayed in one of...

Came up for a week of wandering around the Catskills. The apts are small, cozy and quiet. Not much room, but everything is clean and warm, close to town and a number of nice restaurants in Phoenicia. It is easy access to all of the Catskills. The proprietors are very kind and friendly and have you sorted in no time...
