If this is the Knights Inn closest to the college, this was one of the worst rooms I ever saw. I did not stay here, but my son and daughter-in-law did and I was in the room. The windows were filthy, caked with dead bugs. The bathroom sink was propped up with 2x4 boards. And the mattress was so sunken in the middle, that the mattress looked like a V. There is more, but it's useless to go on. Do not stay here unless desperate. Or perhaps sleep in your car.
My father in law booked 3 rooms and they had late check in. Upon arriving they were told that the hotel gave away their rooms since the hotel couldn't get a hold of them. My husband asked for the phone number and they were calling the wrong number, they also had my father in laws credit card on file. Regardless they gave away their rooms and were now booked. I got a phone call at 9:30pm to get online and look for 3 rooms somewhere. After 30 minutes of looking for a room the manager said "oh, our sister hotel just opened up 9 rooms". The manager accompanied them to the "sister"hotel. While booking the rooms a woman walked in wanting 1 room. The hotel person said they were booked, and my husband reminded them that they still had 6 rooms open. They replied "oh yea that's right". They refused to honor the online pricing for the woman and refused to honor if she booked online.…
Stayed at this location about 10 years ago and it was good. But this trip it definitely has declined. Bathroom light was difficult to get on, so we left it on. There were two chairs but when we went to move one near the table, the seat was not attached. The sign in registration area said breakfast was from 6 - 9. First morning went to get coffee at 6:10, lobby locked. Owner didn't get there till 7. Breakfast not worthy of even mentioning. On Sunday morning, I went to Dunkin Donuts. When we turned in keys at 8, there was nothing ready in lobby. Dissappointed
We were staying for a wedding. It was a choice of wedding party. I should have read reviews! 2 is generous! Very old..really needs to be looked at by zoning code! Half of building is under caution tape!! 😱 we had two double beds, they were comfortable, but I brought my own blanket and pillow! No outlets in ANY of the bathrooms. Very difficult to to hair! Carpet was so old, with holes! We had ref. And microwave and coffee maker in room...We just used ref. No breakfast.
BED BUGS!!!! I stayed here for 2 nights in March with my brother. The hotel is a dump and the breakfast is just doughnuts in ziplock containers under the counter. On our last morning a bed bug crawled across my bed. I caught it and ran to the management office. The clerk on duty told me there was nothing she could do and had no way of contacting the manager. She offered no solutions! Have you ever heard of such a thing?! I threw out my suitcase and ran my clothes to the laundromat. After several attempts to contact the manager with no response, I have gone to corporate. DO NOT STAY HERE!
I would not recommend this property. The motel on the east side of town in this chain is fair superior and closer to shopping and restaurants. Other than the rate, I would prefer to stay elsewhere. Staff was friendly.
This place is easy to find. Is a comfortable place. I stayed here for 3 nights. The lady at the desk was very nice at greeting us and letting us know a little more about the area. The room had 2 bed, clean, one table and 2 chairs available for us. WIll stay here again.
The room was bigger then i expected and the staff was very friendly. We use this hotel 2 times a year when we visit the area. Always a good experience. The only thing was the weekdays we were there the breakfast wasn't done very well but the weekend there was much more choices
Booked a room here for 5 nights. When we checked in we changed our reservation to two nights. The desk clerk gave me a hard time for "changing my reservation with less than 24 hr notice". When I opened the door to the room, it smelled musty and definitely could smell a cat (urine). I got a shower and the bathroom steamed up so I went to open the bathroom window and the window came right off the frame!!!! I put the window back and secured it. I started out the door to inform the the desk clerk of the problem. I locked the door behind me. When I pushed on the door - it swung wide OPEN!!! Niether the door or windows locked on this first floor room. When I told the desk clerk (George?), that the room I had smelled of cat urine and that the locks and windows didnt work, he scolded me. Telling me the room couldnt smell of cat because pets were not allowed in that room. I asked for a refund and was told That he couldnt authorize a refund with out manager approval, and it was too late to call the manager (7pm). He also pointed out how generous he was to not charge me for five nights because I cahnged my reservation on short notice. He did offer a different room. I tried the bathroom window in yhe new room. I then took the bathroom window from the second room to the desk clerk. The desk clerk reluctantly removed the charges from my creit card and told me not to come back and not to go to the other hotel they own the other side of town. The doors and windows of the two rooms I tried didnt lock. I was insulted and scolded by the desk clerk for demanding …
Conveniently located on Seneca Street and gentleman at desk was helpful with dining suggestions. He mentioned good sunsets are an area attraction. Breakfast was limited as we were the only ones that requested it but he offered to get what we wanted. One thing we noticed, steps up into rooms are extra large and would be difficult for those with walking issues such as elderly or disabled.
