I was just at a Fairfield the night before and what a nightmare. The rooms HERE are updated and clean, plenty of toliet paper and tissues. Lol. The food for breakfast was great! Bagels, fresh pancakes , eggs, sausages. Hot coffee, tea, hot cocoa. Yogurts, oatmeal, cereal, fruit and fruit cups. A feast. Definitely a great place to stay!!!

Stayed for a baseball tournament. The hotel was not Covid safe. Staff did not wear masks and there was no requirement for social distancing. Staff was rude to the parents and children and imposed a 10 pm curfew. They even called the police on guests sitting outside and talking after 10pm. They took the computers out of the lobby so guests could not conduct business and turned off the gas to the fire pit. DO NOT STAY HERE unless you like being abused!

We stayed for a night recently. Not sure if the hotel is new or newly renovated but everything looked brand new and the room was very clean. The pool was larger than usual. Front desk staff late at night not as helpful and breakfast options were limited.

Arrived to check into the hotel and was advised by the hotel that the reservation was made with a MasterCard. I told them I made the reservation with a visa and my card has been charged/paid the full balance. The hotel noted the MasterCard was declined by the hotel and it was likely the third party credit card of hotels.com. It’s past midnight and my family (two very young children) after traveling 6 hours in a car for my grandmother who died of covid’ funeral could not check in until the hotel desk contacted hotels.com to resolve the credit card issue as the hotel hadn’t been paid. The hotel called hotels.com twice and I called. we were given the wrong contact number each time. By this point my kids are awake and screaming. The hotel staff, Nicole is a saint and was helpful. Hotels.com was NOT HELPFUL and HASN'T BEEN HELPFUL SINCE THAT DISASTER. Since the check in I have called hotels.com 5 times and asked for a supervisor. The customer service representatives are rude, condescending or just disinterested. They kept telling me if I want to talk to a supervisor then the supervisor will have to call me back. I was on hold for anywhere from 10 minutes-3 hours EACH CALL to speak to a representative. Also, to speak to a supervisor this is clearly not the case because I finally got a supervisor on the phone when I asked one time. The supervisor listened, offered a coupon [(again!) I’m never EVER using them again so I don’t want a coupon! I want a refund!] and then told me corporate would call me in 24 hours. Before supposedly referring my claim to corporate the supervisor tried to tell me that he could do nothing for me since my booked stay is over. I explained that I did my due diligence and called the night it happened and never got a call back. When I did get a call back it was during my grandmother funeral and that person didn’t leave any contact information. So then I asked for a contact number for corporate if I don’t hear from them. The supervisor wouldn’t give one to me. Well it’s been over 36 hours and no one has called me. Now when I call I get hung up on every time. No further contact has been to me. I reported them to the BBB. Don’t use them. Just go to the hotel website. Life lesson learned.

This is my go to hotel in Oswego. Im a lifetime platinum with Marriott, and unfort there is not a Marriott property in Oswego. This place is still relatively new and well kept and certainly does the trick. We had reservations about staying during the coivd pandemic, but this place was clean and everyone was masked up. There was also ample hand sanitizer throughout the hotel. Breakfast was limited to grab and go items, which is understandable during this. Here's some other random details of this place: - The pool/hot tub is always clean. The hot tub comes in handy after a long day of fishing. Dunkin & Ruby's - There's no bar on site, but Ruby Tuesday's is a 3 min walk across the parking lot. - There's also a Dunkin Donuts across the parking lot as well. Jamie the sales manager was really nice and helpful during my stay, as was the rest of the staff I encountered. Lastly, not to stereotype... but the clientele here is good. Some of the motels in Oswego attract a certain vagrant element to them. We used to stay at one very close to this hotel and there was some sketchy (drug) activity at the hotel. If you value a clean hotel w/o dealing with that element, this is the place for you.
