This place is a total rip off.. I understand it's an island an they have to make money in peak season.. But $650 for two nights in a bed I could not sleep in is a joke.. I've never seen or felt a bed as hard.. You could bounce quarters off it! The room was so small .. A joke...

Tried to book an open room with BRENDA. Not only was she horribly nasty and rude to me, she would not allow us to book because there were boys staying int he room and she "has had bad experience with boys staying in the room." I cannot comprehend how someone in a hospitality business could be so terrible to potential...

This is our second time staying at the Blue Water Hotel. Although the hotel is very simple in it's amenities it is super clean, very comfortable and the staff is fantastic. Everything is very easy here. Beach chairs, umbrellas and towel are supplied by the hotel so guest do not have to bring their own. Breakfast on the roof top...

Upon arriving on the ferry my friend and I literally said "hey, we should stay the night". So we walked right into Blue Waters and fortunately for us, they had a room available. They even discounted it because it was last minute ( I am fairly certain the owner was sitting on the couch when we walked in- very nice...

The hotel is pretty standard for fire island. The room is super small and basic, no bells and whistles. Location is great right in the heart of OB. The breakfast they include is pretty basic and was already picked over every time we went to get something so I wouldn't let that be your selling point. All in all its...

Do not trust that the Blue Waters Hotel will honor your reservation. Despite receiving a written confirmation in April for reservation in August, Bunny cancelled my reservation shortly after the July 4th holiday. She refused to reply by email, instead leaving cryptic messages on my cell phone. When I finally reached her on the phone, rather than trying to resolve...

I like soft beds, this place was nice, clean, and cozy but the bed was very uncomfortable for me. It was a value compared to the other hotels, so I really can't complain, but Im not sure if I would come back.

This isn't really a hotel, it's a racket. Rooms are like cracker boxes with barely enough room to move around the bed and they don't provide anything but a towel. They ask for a $5 per person "gratuity" up front for cleaning service but our room was never cleaned. When I asked about this, I was told maid service must...

Its a great place to stay whether your with your family or friends. Price was perfect. Staying there made our weekend so much...

My wife and I have stayed at Blue Waters many times, and again this past July. We keep coming back because we love it! Elaine, Brenda, Harvey, and the staff always make us feel like family each time we return. The rooms are very clean, the fresh salt air through an open window, the ease of walking a few steps...
