i stayed at De Sol Spa Hotel for 2 nights out of my 4 in Santorini. It was absolutely brilliant, check in was easy, staff could have been a little more cheery but i dont know what her day has brought for her! My room was spacious, clean, just beautiful! Hotel staff were lovely, at the pool, in the restaurant and at the Spa! And a nice 25min walk to town center Thira/Fira. I will 100% be returning.
Limited hotels are in operation in winter at Santorini. De Sol Spa Hotel is one of those hotels. If you drive, highly recommend to stay at this hotel, even you dont drive, hotel offers shuttle to and from Fira. The hotel is nearby Fira, just few mins drive. And two supermarkets are at the same road of the hotel, super convenient! Hotel is not at the centre of Fira, which allows you having more privacy. Hotel room is clean with modern decorations. Stable electricity and hot water supply which is very important in winter time (I read several comments that some other visitors experienced no electricity and unstable hot water supply for shower at other hotels). Hotel offers breakfast buffet and its nice! Hotel staff are also friendly and nice. Wonderful stay at de sol spa and hotel for my 5 days 4 nights trip at Santorini!…
Lovely white property very close to Fira main st (by car) with a 24 hr reception. Very nice service - our bags were taken to& brought back from our room to our rented car. Good parking for cars. Beautiful view from b'fast room with a big, healthy spread of b'fast and very good service there too. Room was big with good central heating with controls in the Room. Fantastic toilet with chikuzi tub and all good quality toiletries. Room # 123 with a big balcony with lovely sea view. More thank what we expected & would surely come back to Del Sol when in Santorini next time
Best to come during summer to enjoy together with the pool. Restaurant is distant to walk problem when is raining. Hotel operator should consider alternative include buggy drive to restaurant to encourage better Utilisation
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location was decently close to oia. Not walking though, must have a car. The front desk staff we were a tad annoyed with. 1.) we got into town late at night and we were starving. They sent us walking down the street saying there was a burger place that was open... it was a 15 min walk and was NOT open. 2.) we apparently pronounced something wrong and the guy and girl kept laughing at us like we were stupid. Parking is scarce here. Wouldn’t stay again but made good memories and nice lobby and rooms. Breakfast in the morning was complimentary and lots to choose from.
"We liked room 207 and so did our friends spacious room and excellent private balcony"Read full review
