The service was second to none. We couldn't be more satisfied. Amazing quality, friendly and kind people - special thanks to our amazing Louiza at the front desk who was extremely helpful and such a bright personality to welcome the guests! Being mental with covid, it was the only place I felt as safe as home. The suites were properly sanitized, everything was properly sealed after being sanitized, all the staff was wearing masks the right way -unlike most places -and gloves, they were very discreet, amazingly helpful and hospitable. It's very rare to get as good service as the one we received in the hotel and we would definitely recommend it to everyone. The best holidays ever and will certainly come back. Thank you Canaves Suites for the amazing experience!!

What a wonderful beautiful and romantic hotel. From the Monet we set foot in the hotel after a long and exhausting trip we were made to feel welcome and special by George & his excellent team. we want to give participants thanks to Desi, Fotini and Vasilis.
The hotel is spotless and in an incredible position overlooking the seas-its dramatic and peaceful. The rooms are well positioned and much thought has gone into the Hermes soaps and hats/ bathrobes and slippers. The food was all delicious and help on wine was much appreciated. The breakfast is a treat and despite COVID it was all generous and expansive in terms of choice. We get the impression all the staff are proud to work there and consider guests to be family-without being overly informal. I use the gym which is small but perfect and the outside pool is totally insta on point (if thats your sort of requirement) We can't wait to go back-thanks again team Sasha & Daisy

We had a wonderful week here in July. Just as good if not even better than our last stay at canaves boutique hotel just a little bit further up the road
George manages a wonderful team of professionals who are happy in their work and delight in offering exemplary service.

The view across the caldera is sensational ...breathtakingly gorgeous
The hotel is in Oia itself so walking into the village is very convenient. The hotel will organise their driver to take guests to restaurants and we often used this service to go down to Ammoudi as well as from there in the speedboat to ammeni restaurant which is absolutely fabulous

We stayed in a Pool Suite and were blown away by the incredible view from both outside our room and directly from our bed. Pool was about 4 ft deep and water temp was perfect. Lounge chairs looked directly out at the caldera. We have been to some great resorts, but this view will never be topped. Room was fabulous and included a massive shower, but no bath. The room could use more drawers, but it is impossible to complain when the quality is 5 stars all the way. Housekeeping was step above most hotels and we were pleasantly surprised by the extra little touches. Combine this with the incredible views from Petra at breakfast and dinner, and Canaves Oia Suites ranks #1 on our list.

Stunning property with two swimming pools with the spectacular views of the caldera! Soak up the sun on the sunbeds in the infinity pool with the views of Caldera! Simply amazing! Spacious rooms, many with plunge pools overlooking the caldera. The breakfast was delicious! The best bread basket with pastries, croissants, donuts you name it. Staff is one of the hotels biggest assets - extremely polite, friendly and helpful. We also used the spa and had a wonderful massage. If you visiting Santorini, stay in Oia. It is the most stunning little town that lights up in the evening, with pristine white cave buildings, white clean streets, small boutiques and many restaurants to choose from. We had one the best and the most relaxing holiday. We are definitely coming to Oia and Canaves hotel!

This property is in the best part of Oia. By staying here you will enjoy total privacy from the throngs of tourists in the main thoroughfare of the street above and have stunning views of the Caldera. I appreciated that you had total privacy from even the other suites in the resort. That is what you pay for here at over 1000 USD a night. The majority of the guests here were young honeymooners and influencers. When I went to use the infinity pool loungers there was an “influencer” who had a full tripod setup in the pool trying to get that perfect picture of her perched on the edge of the pool, so I went back to my room- but let’s be honest that’s all over the place in Santorini…. The breakfast was excellent with a full cook to order menu every morning. If you choose to have it served in your suite it is an additional 10euro. We stayed in a pool suite, which was a generous upgrade from the hotel staff for our anniversary. I loved that the pool was ever so slightly heated, perfect for night swims. My only request for the management is that they provide more than 1 hook in the room for 2 people and their towels, robes, wet swimsuits, etc. In summary, if an Insta worthy place in Oia is what you are after, here it is.

Canaves Oia Suites & Spa was the best place we have ever stayed at. As an airline agent I travel extensively all over the world and have stayed in many beautiful resorts. However Canaves suites exceeded all and every expectation. We celebrated our 30th Anniversary, and the staff were so warm and welcoming. They updated our suite which was beyond phenomenal. Upon entering this two story suite everything was set up perfectly with a warm friendly and endearing Anniversary note, bottle of Champagne and upstairs bed decorated in a heart shape with flowers. The suite was enormous of a posh decor , great ambience, and superbly stylish. The beds were extremely comfortable offering a quiet and soothing quality. Canaves Oia suites left nothing out and lives up to its name and reputation. The staff are exceptional always going above and beyond to elevate our experience. Their hospitality is truly that which needs no change as they are warm, helpful, welcoming tone and, perfect demeanor. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer however will be returning again.

We stayed for 3 nights in July for our baby moon. The hotel staff was very helpful in making sure that we got a room with very few steps (Santorini has a lot of steps). We stayed in a superior suite which was massive and had great Caldera views. While the plunge pool in the room was fairly small, the main hotel pool was a great place to relax. The infinity pool is also very nice, but the partially submerged beds are usually occupied. This was not really an issue for us.
Very attentive and friendly staff who were happy to give us suggestions for restaurants and activities that would suit my wife. All their restaurant recommendations were stellar.
The food at the hotel was very good as well. We would definitely return at some point.

I have not left a review in a very long time, but so greatly appreciate users who leave thoughtful reviews my wife and I rely upon during our travels. My experience this past week at Canaves Oia Suites moved me to write. People need to know about this place! From the moment your transportation delivers you to the doorsteps where you are greeted by Alfred who can't help but put a smile on your face after your long journey to the greeting you receive at the front desk your stay begins in 5 star fashion. However, our stay was made even more special by effortless service we received throughout our stay. I feel the need to recognize the front desk manager Fotini (Fay) for being with us every step of the way. Thank you for making us feel as though we were the only guests in the hotel. The resort itself is carved into the side of a cliff, so you need to be prepared to deal with steps to get anywhere, but it helped us burn all the calories we were taking in with the great food all around us. We stayed in the Royal Pool Suite (Room 52) which is at the bottom of the resort meaning we climbed lots of steps to get down to the location but we did so happily given the privacy of this particular suite. We toured one of their newest suites they just completed which is closer to reception and street level if you want to cut down on steps taken. Suite 56 looked particularly interesting to us for our next stay. And a next stay is 100% happening.

My husband and I stayed here for three nights during our honeymoon and had a fantastic time! We opted for their airport pickup (€ 110 each way) to make things easier, but it is def cheaper to find an alternative mode of transport. The property has an insane amount of stairs so that is something to keep in mind, but they do have many people that can you help you with your luggage. The staff was so incredibly friendly and made us feel so special, they will know you by the time you are there. We started off our first night at their signature restaurant, Petra. Service and food was fantastic and although we ordered a la carte, they served many small dishes in between and we were more than full. Breakfast in included in the stay and was def the best free breakfast we've had at any hotel. There are two pool areas, but I much preferred the infinity one, the other does not have a clear view of the ocean. The staff was quick to set up the towel on the chair when we got there. We had a standard room on the highest floor, but still had a beautiful view of the calderas. Housekeeping was very efficient and came twice a day at least, we always went back to our room with fresh towels and everything neatly put away. The location of the hotel was very close to all the restaurants and things to see, but was also a perfect place to getaway from the crowds of Santorini.

Canaves Oia Suites is just 2 steps from the main pedestrian road of Oia. All the properties are located in Oia and there is a shuttle transfer to Canaves Oia Epitome which is also in Oia but above Ammoudi bay
There are more places to choose from in the Oia area.
