We were very happy with our stay at Aethrio. Our hosts, Georgia and Pericles did a wonderful job making us feel welcome and gave us many great tips on what to do and no where to eat. The complex was beautiful and the view from the terrace, both day and sunset were great. We had a beautiful room with 2...

We stayed at Aethrio Hotel for four nights. The hotel makes a really good first impression and the little houses and everything around it look really cute. It's in the heart of Oia, you are everywhere really quickly. The sunset terrace is great too. Good wifi, breakfast ok. Everyone really friendly! Unfortunately the hotel is quite worn (deckchairs, chairs, room,...

Dear Chub, Thank you for your feedback, it allows us to clarify once again an important matter regarding our services and facilities. Aethrio is not a classical hotel, ranked with the 1/2/3/4 star system as usual. In Greece there is a specific category named " Traditional hotel and settlement", ranked by category A, B, C. We are classified A, which...

Recently stayed at Aethrio with friends. Loved the property- super cute with a great pool! It is located right in the heart of Oia so you can walk everywhere. The staff was extremely nice and helpful with everything-dinner reservations, transportation, and even carried our luggage through the tough Oia streets. Would recommend to anyone!

I'm sad to write this review as the hotel has great potential, being beautiful and in a good location however due to now multiple bad experiences with the staff I feel justified to review it poorly....You will see from all my previous reviews I review fairly. To start with the hotel double charged my credit card for the stay before...

Dear Megan, I want to clarify the situation regarding this review. You have mentioned our hotel poorly just because of one mater that do not concern our services, facilities and rooms. You have booked an excursion (expensive) before your arrival in Santorini (first mistake) through the website Viator, and not directly with the company or with our hotel. A pick...

The location is very good, the staff was nice and gave nice tips for what to do in Santorini. Breakfast was very basic and sufficient. Wi-Fi was always having problems. We came with a toddler and we quickly realized it was a mistake. The pool was too deep and there was not much we could have done with him in...

Dear Oz M. First of all thank you for your comments. We want to add the fact that there are no many hotels in Oia that just accept the children at their place, most of them are only for couples or adults. We are one of the rare place "kids friendly" here, but of course the traditional caracteristic of our...

The place is nice and quite. Lots of problems - shower stream was to slow and the first night we didn't have hot water. There was a poor Wi-Fi connection. We where two couples with babys and the accessibility was not comfortable at all. Breakfast was pretty lame. Last day we wanted to get one room for a late check...

Dear Mrs Kufsinon. Because you were traveling with the other family that has just made a review before you, we will copy our answer! First of all we are a family and traditional hotel, not a 4 stars resort with a concierge desk that answer 24h/24h for every request the guest could make. Maybe you were expecting this kind of...

We were in the hotel for one week, with a baby, everything was ok, but no more than that. Every Time we asked for a small help, the workers smiled and nodded, but in the end- weren't able / didn't do much extra to help. I guess that what bothered me the most. I like feeling there's someone who would...

Aethrio is a great play to stay in Oia. It is situated right in the heart of Oia, although one inside you would never know it! It has character and the staff are friendly and helpful. The room we had was spacious and clean. The breakfast was adequate with various choices each day. Snacks are available throughout the day and...

We booked this hotel with a few reservations as we were not sure what our room would look like from the pictures on trip advisor. There was no need for us to have reservations about the hotel. It was such a lovely, Greek and picturesque hotel in the most perfect location in Oia. Right outside the front door were all...

We stayed at Aethrio Hotel for several nights. The hotel property is gorgeous and is located in an excellent part of town close to everything. It is also just a 5 minute walk from the local bus stop (if that's how you're arriving in Oia). The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The...
