Detailed Reviews
I stayed in Aspaki for 3 nights after a considerable amount of research discovering what the best hotels were in Oia with the best view I settled on Aspaki! I was fortunate enough to stay in the endless exclusive blue suite which was so stunning (Room 101) with arguably the best room in the hotel in my opinion!
From the moment you arrive you won't be able to believe your eyes due to the views, walking down the steps and taking in the surroundings was simply breathtaking. I really don't think many hotels can beat the views of the blue dome and the sea anywhere else on the island. Not to mention the rooms are all modern and beautifully appointed.
The staff are what make this place so special, helping you plan your stay with the best itineraries to fill your time and cater options to your taste. For me personally I dealt with Despina and Nepheli most and they were the kindest and sweetest people you can meet. They were so very helpful in making my arrangements, whether it would be my transfer, covid testing, car rental all done in a matter of minutes! They gave me the most amazing restaurant recommendations with my favourites by far being karma and Lefkes !
The plunge pools are heated and even though the main pool is small, it is never crowded due to the scarcity of rooms here, even the windows in the showers were so unique and stunning. I loved the restaurant floor, superb views and styling, also breakfast was perfectly appointed. I had it in my room at no extra cost and the pancakes were out of this world! The lady serving the breakfast was also a pleasure to speak with.
The fact that they have a sister hotel Oia castle 5 mins away , with a private viewing deck with the best sunset views in town (everyone else is crowded in the castle behind and above you) was a real treat!
I can't say enough good things about my stay, honestly no room for improvement which is very rare for me to say. Booking your stay here cannot disappoint! Also the hotel has numerous spots to take pictures from that other non hotel guests would love to use, even the entrance outside the hotel is packed full of tourists just taking pics due to the location being so ideal.

My husband and I just spent 6 nights at Aspaki for our honeymoon. The view from our room and the hotel were indescribable and better than any restaurant. The location is central to anything you want to see in Oia but tucked off the Main Street so rooms are quiet and peaceful. This hotel also offers a sunset viewing at their sister hotel which has THE best sunset viewing on the island. If you stay here book a sunset viewing one night. The rooms and hot tubs were very clean and cleaned daily and always without bothering us- the staff knew when we left for the day and always fit in cleaning during that time. The staff and service at this hotel are better than any I’ve ever experienced. They helped us make reservations, get cabs, book tours and even order late night pizza! The staff has great relationships all over the island which made booking last minute dinners or cars a breeze. This hotel is expensive but you absolutely get what you pay for and it is worth every penny. I cannot recommend enough.
My only caution is for anyone with mobility issues. The hotel is built into the cliff tops so while gorgeous there are lots of narrow steps. If you have bad knees or a leg injury this might not be the hotel for you.

Dear 742kelleyd, Thank you for sharing your feedback regarding your stay. All these beautiful comments are appreciated, by everyone on this property. We are continually trying to improve and provide a great experience to all of our guests and it certainly feels great when you recognise that this hotel, is value for money, as you have. Most definately Santorini in general is a place with lots of steps and cobble pathways but thankfully Aspaki is in a central area, that makes the situation a little better. At the end of the day, we need to accept that Santorini is the best place for a work out even if we are not great fans of physical excercise. We hope that you will consider us for your next trip! Cordially, Evi Zyferi

We want to thank the whole team at Aspaki so much for making our stay in Oia perfect in every way.
They pay so much attention to detail to make the guests feel comfortable and at home, I can‘t think of anything that was missing.
The location of the hotel is also so beautiful, we think they have the best views while offering privacy and shielding you from the other tourists that flock to the area to get nice pictures. Even visiting other rooftop restaurants in comparison or when we swam in the sea and looked up at Oia, the place where Aspaki have their cabana and pool/ restaurant is probably the nicest and it feels always calm and not crowded.
The room was also very comfortable, we stayed at the river pool suite and it felt like being in a mermaid cave!
The food from chef Dimitri is also so delicious, simple but comforting and made with love - we actually enjoyed eating at the hotel instead of going out more and it was consistent throughout our stay. Breakfast was also perfect.
Thanks a lot to Aphrodite, Evi, and Maria for making us feel at home and being so accommodating with all wishes!
As a side note we wanted to go for drinks and dessert to Canaves which is another 5 star hotel a few mins walk away, and they refused us to come if we don‘t have dinner as well... just to compare the vibe and attitude between hotels. I think if their guests would ask to come for dessert to Aspaki the team would probably make them feel at home and put a smile on their face. We’re glad we chose this place and hope to come back!

We stayed at Aspaki for 4 nights at the start of September and had a fantastic stay. The hotel has a great location just off the main pedestrian street through Oia but far away enough to be relatively private and has breathtaking views to the caldera and Oia itself.
The staff couldn't have been more friendly or helpful throughout our stay. On arrival we were upgraded to an amazing room. Breakfasts were delicious and each morning we enjoyed ours in the small restaurant overlooking the caldera. We also had dinner at the hotel one evening which was also great and I would highly recommend eating there at least one evening during your stay.
One facility which isn't very clearly shown on the website is that the hotel also has a small pool for all guests to use with a terrace and some sun loungers. We used this a few times as the jacuzzis in the rooms have warm water.
An extra special treat which we were not expecting was access to a private terrace just below the Castle from which we could enjoy the sunset with a drink without having to fight with all the other tourists for a good view/get there hours ahead to secure a good spot. I believe this is normally part of the sister hotel Oia Castle so I am not sure if this is usually open to Aspaki guests but for us it was a HUGE bonus.
Thanks to all the staff at Aspaki for looking after us during our stay, we will be back!

Dear X4689ZJnataliew, Thank you for your feedback and for taking the time to review your stay at Aspaki Exclusive Hotel by Art Maisons. Our hotel is indeed a little gem standing at the most idyllic spot in Oia offering breathtaking views. Furthermore, we couldn't agree with you more, our restaurant is an excellent choice not only for breakfast but for dinner as well as it has more privacy than many restaurants by the caldera, it offers great views and personalized service. The secret is SIMPLE, fresh, local ingredients, and people in love with what they do! In regards to the private Sunset terrace at Oia Castle Luxury Suites is a service that we complimentary provide to our guests of Aspaki Exclusive Hotel in order to enjoy one of the most famous sunsets in the world. Number 3 best sunset in the world as per HotelsWord, Forbes, and other travel magazines. We are happy that you enjoyed your stay with us and we are looking forward to welcoming you in the near future. Cordially, Aphrodite Kuruti Art Maisons

This stay was the most luxurious part of our 3.5 week honeymoon trip this June 2022. We stayed at Aspaki in a Honeymoon Suite (The domes) for 3 nights and it was the most amazing time. We had a private hot tub, our balcony was not right on a walkway like most rooms, we had a door that led into our balcony which made it feel even more private, and we had the most AMAZING unobstructed views of the blue domes. It's no wonder people line up at the top near the entrance of this hotel from sun up until odd hours of the night to take pictures. Aspaki has the best views on the island, hands down. The service here spectacular. First we were picked up at the airport by hotel transfer service. Once we arrived in Oia, we were greeted by a man from the hotel who took all our luggage and wheeled them all the way to the entrance of the hotel and once there he picked our large luggage (which was 28kg) threw it over his shoulder like it was nothing and walked it down all the stairs to our room. Talk about service. The ladies in reception are the sweetest. They were able to help make reservations for dinner, transport to and from Fira for a food tour we had booked, as well as even bringing a steamer to our room to steam my wedding dress for pictures we were having done. Our room was always clean and spotless (but not just cleaned, clothes put away, makeup put away on the sink, shoes tucked away, clothes hung up. etc. over the top on room cleaning!!!!). Breakfast was brought directly to our room every morning. The entire property was always very well kept, always clean, they were even painting often to keep the white esthetic very crisp! They just go above and beyond here. We would definitely stay here again if we ever have the chance to return to Santorini.

We spent three days and two nights at Aspaki at the start of our honeymoon in Santorini, springing for the 'Endless Blue' suite based on other reviews. It did not disappoint! The views were absolutely breathtaking in every direction at every time of day — I will never forget watching the sun go down from the private pool. We spent most of our time outside, but the room itself was spotless and well-appointed, with more amazing views from the bed and shower. The staff also went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, answering any questions we had, encouraging us to eat more of the free breakfast (ha!), coordinating rides to and from the airport for us, and arranging for a late checkout so we could keep exploring. Would definitely recommend for a special occasion couples trip.

Spectacular does not begin to cover our experience here. We stayed in the Eros suite at Oia Castle which seemed to be more intimate and less centralized than aspaki. We agonized over what room to choose and were so happy with our choice. Although at first having a door that literally goes right into the street with a pretty open balcony seemed like it would be less private, it actually wasn’t depending on where you sat on the balcony. There’s a chaise lounge at the back corner next to the pool where you can still see the colors of the sunset beautifully without any of the hoards of people in the steps seeing you. Personally the noise didn’t bother me. It’s more people seeing us. We went through great pains to find rooms with the most privacy. And I’m honesty, all the reviews talked about how private imerovigli is compared to oia which is mostly true but from the first night on we had people looking directly onto our patio and our ‘private’ pool flying drones overhead and such. I’m sure there are hotels there with more privacy than this but we felt way more protected in the Eros suite. Plus there’s an awesome indoor cave pool! Which at first I was kind of like eh it’s a novelty. Can’t see the sun etc. But then I absolutely loved it! We bought floaties (highly recommended) and it was so relaxing to float around when we got hot which is super easy after walking up and down those stairs in the hot sun. The room itself was pristine. There’s also a bench inside with windows overlooking the sunset if you REALLY want complete privacy. Breakfast was superb. So much food and wonderful service. They also made a reservation at the restaurant at aspaki which had a beautiful view and well priced food. Perfect end to our vacation. What made our stay even more special was the attentive service by Aphrodite, Evi, our server Katerina and everyone who helped with our luggage. Having been on the island a few days I found the attentiveness was sometimes with a purpose, to get a good review or a tip but everyone here was genuinely interested in us having a good stay and not just because we looked like we were friends w the kardashians (which we do not). My only regret is we didn’t stay longer. I don’t know what the other hotels are like but I’m the hustle bustle of oia this place is definitely a gem.

We stayed at the Aspaki Exclusive Hotel in one of the three Executive Suites (I think the name was Myth). We had to reschedule our trip three times because of covid and the hotel staff were more than accommodating. I just can’t say enough for how much I adore everyone there. They went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. Everything was seamless.
Our room was upgraded because we were originally supposed to stay at the castle suites, which closed down for the season because of covid. Our new room more than made up for the change. It was huge, private, and clean. This is only the second season after renovation for this hotel, so everything in the rooms is new. I am sure we would have been happy at the Castle suites too, but I am so very glad we were moved over to Aspaki. You don’t get the sunset views, but the views are still amazing (we were right next to the two famous church blue domes), you have all services available at the big hotel, and you still get use of the private sunset viewing terrace at the Castle suites. Which, might I add, is even better than having a direct sunset view. Nothing like being chauffeured over to your own semi private sunset viewing terrace with drinks, seating, and plenty of space. No need to fight and clamor for a spot to watch the sunset like the hundreds of other people. When you are done, you get to leave the chaos behind and head back to your peaceful room.
Food was included in our stay and it was huge and plentiful. We took it in our room all but one morning. Their restaurant has pretty views, but it was amazing to laze around at our pool while someone delivered breakfast to us.
The restaurant is also open all day. We enjoyed drinks and desserts delivered to our room mid day as well as a quick dinner before we left for massages.
The hotel staff also arranged excursions for us without the high pressure tactics used by some other people we ran into on island. They will give you honest opinions for what fits your needs. We had them arrange our excursions and dinner reservations. It made it so easy.
This was a celebratory trip for my husband and I so we splurged on everything. However, after staying here, I am not sure there is any better way to travel to Santorini. You absolutely don’t be disappointed if you stay here. There is really no better place!

Dear Trobinsonsix, We thank you for your lovely review for our little gem Aspaki Exclusive Hotel by Art Maisons. A further thank you for your support during the period of Covid-19 as you have been the type of guest who did not wanted to cancel but you were willing to make as many changes required in order to make it happen and that gave us hope during these uncertain times and excitement to finally welcome you in person. In order to express our gratitude, the upgrade to our exclusive suite is the least we can do to amazing people like you. You brought us a big smile to our face when reading your description of the hotel, obviously, the idyllic location speaks for itself, next to the most famous blue dome churches and the breathtaking views of the caldera, the only hotel that location-wise outstands from the rest in Oia. But also the staff is working very hard to make sure everything is spotless, the cleaning staff, especially with Covid-19, is even more dedicated. While for the food, we are proud to cooperate with local producers, and we like to be generous as you may enjoy this delicious food only in Greece and that for most of our guests is once in a year. Lastly, as our aim is to make sure you have the best time with us and seize the beauties of the island our recommendations can only be customer-oriented and according to your preferences, we plan the ideal trip together. We are happy that you enjoyed your stay with us and we look forward to welcoming you in the near future. Warmest regards, Aphrodite Kuruti

Before you even arrive to the hotel, the incredibly helpful and discreet hotel staff will meet you at the post office to carry your luggage through the main street of Santorini to the hotel. Cars are not allowed along the pedestrian-only marble-paved street, filled with shops and restaurants to suit all tastes.
Along a narrow pathway, you will navigate through a crowd of tourists craning their necks to get a glimpse of the famous blue roofs of the churches, a pathway that leads to a door through which only you will enter…as you have arrived at the secret haven of the Aspaki Hotel, where you will be greeted with a welcome aperitif and a delightful and discreet staff.
The hotel comprises of only a handful of suites, all with their own private pools and terraces, to accommodate larger families or romantic getaways. The pools can be inside small caves in the rooms leading to the outside terraces which overlook the Cyclades and the surrounding volcanic islands. They are maintained to perfection on a daily basis.
The largest suite, the Olympian suite, is situated just under the famous blue roofed churches, affording incredible views and unforgettable memories.
If you order room service, be sure to taste the fresh caught grilled lemon and garlic shrimp as well the deep fried tomatoes, that accompany a tall glass of champagne…all from the comfort of your chaise-longue or the pool.
Breakfast at the hotel is comprised of no less than five courses, which allow one to nearly skip lunch…
The hotel offers a small pool for it’s guests along with a large terrace, which sits on the outermost point of Oia, allowing for striking views of the village from both the south and north.
The best time to visit the hotel in in June or late September, when the heat is bearable and the sun warming. The Aspaki is part of the Art Maisons collection of hotels, allowing guests to choose from two different locations in Oia, depending on preference. Aspaki offers more privacy and is considered higher end.
The staff will accommodate and arrange all kinds of outings and expeditions for guests in the most amicable fashion.
A true gem!

My husband and I recently returned from our 1 week stay at Oia Castle. It was definitely a trip that we had been looking forward to for a very long time celebrating 40 blissful years together. Oia Castle did not disappoint. Everything was perfect from the moment we reached the property. Evi went over everything we needed to know from the beginning and set us up for our first breakfast the following morning. She also helped us with making any dinner and activity reservations. Each morning we were greeted by Christina who was extremely friendly and informative (she helped to teach us "Good morning" in Greek) and made sure that our breakfasts met our needs. Another gem of the property is Costa, who works tirelessly at making sure the property is maintained and very clean. He made sure our jacuzzi was refreshed and cleaned daily. Our room was kept spotless and anything we needed was immediately brought to us upon our request. The housekeeping staff were the sweetest young ladies, always smiling and very pleasant. All we can say is the service of this hotel is top notch! If that doesn't say enough, the view from our balcony jacuzzi was exquisite. We realized that every sunset was ours to experience from our own private little place. We were literally where everyone in Oia gathers to watch the nightly sunset. Having been to this property, I don't think we would stay anywhere else if we return to Santorini. Thank you to the entire staff for making our stay at Oia Castle a lifetime memory.

We booked the cave one.
The cave room and cave pool has more privacy cuz no one can see you when you’re inside the pool. But somehow the air circulation is not as good as the plunge pool.
Approx 10 mins walk through crowded alleyways.
I'm really sorry but my review was for the Albatros Hotel in Santorini. Somehow it was added to Art Masones Santorini reviews in error. I couldn't find a way to correct the error.
