First, I want to say thank you to the hotel staff for making our stay so excellent. We were greeted warmly upon arrival and when we were led to our stunning room. When we got settled in, we noticed a loud buzzing mechanical sound that could not be tuned out and we were concerned that it would ruin the peaceful setting we were hoping for. My husband called the front desk, expressing our concern, and the manager immediately sent the maintenance man down who swiftly fixed it.
I was very impressed with the care the took in making our experience perfect and we had three blissful nights of quiet sleep in the cave style room with an unencumbered view of the sea.
We ate several meals at the restaurant including the included breakfast which were all wonderful. We also partook in the spa rituals which were excellent from the treatments down to the facility.
Also the location was perfect- far enough away from the main tourist street with shops and restaurants that it felt secluded and quiet, but a 7-10 minute easy walk to access them.
I would highly recommend this property for your next trip to Santorini.

My wife and I came here for our honeymoon and were rewarded by making the best choice of hotel we'd ever stayed in. This is a first-class experience in every way. The staff, the location, the rooms, the food - all of it. There's nothing for me to say except that we loved our time here and wish we had spent an extra 1-2 days here. The rooms are an experience in themselves, and the views from each of the patios are stunning. Living in a cave for almost a week was amazing. The breakfast, which is included, was wholesome and decedent, and they were generous with the menu. It was also very quiet since this particular hotel was off the beaten path a bit, so get ready to get your steps in (the staff helps with your bags, don't worry). Everything is walkable (you can walk to the center of Oia's "downtown" in about 12 minutes).
The poolside chairs and cabanas are perfectly located, with stunning views. My wife also had rave reviews for the spa. The hotel also set up travel to and from the port and the airport.
We also had dinner at the restaurant, and the tasting menu was amazing. The chef and staff accommodated our specific dietary restrictions, as well.
Bottom line: If you're deciding between Katikies Kirini and another hotel, choose Katikies Kirini. This might likely be the best hotel you ever stay in.

From the moment we stepped foot on the property, the staff made us feel warm and welcome. Check in was fast and we were given a tour of the property on the way to our room. Be prepared to take a lot of steps! Our room was super clean and elegant, well appointed and very comfortable. The only complaint might be the lack of hooks to hang a towel outside the shower, but that was a minor inconvenience. Breakfast daily was included and it was delicious and served pool side overlooking the ocean! The service staff was very attentive, pleasant and treated us so well we did not want to leave at the end of the week! Try the eggs benedict and definitely have the daily bread basket! Dinner at the hotel restaurant was spectacular. Dining under the moon light with the warm ocean breezes wafting over us was wonderful and the food was incredible. A local wine was recommended on our first night and we spent the rest of the week ordering it! Selene Rose is outstanding. Our room was cleaned everyday and every night there was a turn down service that included a fresh bottle of water and chocolates! Our patio had a very nice bench and chair with table and umbrella as well as a small cabana we used a couple of times to soak up the sun! The hotel pool was not large and very cold but once in, very refreshing. The hotel location is perfect for touring Oia. Is not too far to walk there and a car to Thira is only about a 15-20 minute drive away. The front desk was always super helpful in getting a car arranged for us. We also tried the spa and had a couples massage. Wonderful! It put me to sleep! There is eye candy everywhere you look. The gleaming white buildings and blue roof tops of the local churches are amazing as is the view of the entire ocean area. We hope to someday return and will definitely come back to this hotel. Paying 3300 dollars for the best room in the hotel, I would expect a five star hotel room, instead the room is like a cave, very small, low headroom in the bathroom area. When I called the front desk for help, I always had to call back two times sometimes the issue still doesn’t get solved. What surprised me the most is upon checking out, the front desk even asked for tips, I have been to many hotels around the world, but this definitely surprised me.

This is the best hotel if you want to be in Oia! Check in was a breeze, they were expecting us with welcome drinks ready! The concierge responded to all our emails prior to our visit within 24 hours. Our room was spectacular.
If you are celebrating something special or on a trip as a couple! Just book this place. The views are mind blowing. The beds were super comfortable with all top notch bathroom amenities. They have turn down service between 5 to 8 pm when they clean the rooms and also refill 2 small bottles of water and other supplies.
We also had a surprise bottle of Rose wine and some dessert mini bites waiting for us at arrival.
The best part of the morning was breakfast ! We had An amazing set of servers every morning. And they accommodated many requests. Over 3 days we tried everything on their menu!
Pro tips:
1) This hotel being in Oia, book a transfer from the Ferry Port to reach here. If you take public bus, it will require one bus change and it will be stressful. 2) Make restaurant reservations if you are going in high season at the restaurants with a view. We had reservations only at one restaurant for sunset and it worked out fine as most of them accommodated us without reservations 3) There is a bus stop by the hotel which 1 min walk 4) Luno Bakery is 4 mins walk where you can get taxis to go other villages or also meet your different tour guides for photo shoots or other group tours 5) the main Oia bus stop is 13 min walk 6) if you are not okay with steps, understand that you need to take the steps up and down to your room to reach the main walking path
If you want to be in Oia, want a view and small hotel with no crowds and enjoy a calm vacation stay here !
My only feedback to the hotel management would be to have extra water or larger waters and their drinks at the bar be strong. The drinks at the pool felt over priced and not worth it. This still doesn’t cut my rating !

Check in procedure as well as check out very smooth. Incredible viem of caldera from cave room, which offers anything you want: nespresso machine, music system, safebox, table, plenty of space, satellite tv channels, luxury bathroom amenities, fully stock fridge, daily cleaness service just perfect! Pool - bar area very clean. Restaurant menu very interesting as well as wine list. All staff under high quality training and so much kind. Breakfast with local and international products, fresh, quality, tasty, with view of calntera, many choices, makes you satisfied for sure! We upgraded to suite with private pool, difficult to explain with words this magic hospitality experience!!!
The only choice for accomodation in Oia. We will return for a refill of this greek luxury experience!

This hotel had it all. The location was perfect from being close to the main attractions in Oia, but far enough away to where you felt like you had space and privacy. The room was unique and clean, and the views were unparalleled. The staff was friendly and accommodating as well with everything we needed. The breakfast was also amazing, and I miss it every day! We came for our honeymoon and it was a truly unforgettable experience.

Amazing Incredible Outstanding! Just a few words we have to express how we were left feeling about this hotel and it’s staff! Everything from being picked up from the airport in comfort and style to the very last moment when we were given our beautiful room key ring as a parting gift just made our stay unforgettable!! The staff are the best we have experienced anywhere (hotel manager was totally outstanding and she upgraded us to make our stay even better) and literally could not be more accommodating, all from the Hotel manager to the cleaners put you at ease and were always happy to help We were left beautiful little notes in our room and had more complimentary wine than we could drink…. The icing on the cake was when we were unexpectedly sent a car from the hotel to pick us up from a restaurant in Oia just in case we didn’t want to walk back- we were left stunned at the service The hotel itself is simply breathtaking and it’s decor is sumptuous and stylish with luxurious fixtures and toiletries (bvulgari) It is perfectly located just on the edge of the Main Street in Oia so doesn’t feel claustrophobic as I imagine it would in high season. The food is everything you would want and matches the hotels high standards If you want a totally unbelievable experience in Oia then choose Katikies Kirini and we guarantee you will not be left disappointed

Where to begin. The moment we arrived it was jaw dropping beautiful. The suite or shall I say luxury Cave was very romantic and the public areas of this boutique resort were nothing short of fabulous. Be prepared to climb a lot of steps up and down and pack your walking shoes. Not recommended for someone physically challenged. The service was outstanding and you could tell the staff were very professional, well trained and work at their profession. The General Manager takes the time to get to know each guest (we watched him in action). Our overall experience was outstanding. They were very helpful to make sure we covered the main features of the island and even suggested some hidden gems. We especially enjoyed visiting their sister property and having a front row seat to watch the re-enactment of the Volcano exploding while being served dinner. The fireworks were a nice effect.

Drop out views, boutique vibe, amazing concierge staff.
We travelled with another family and had 9 People total. The views from every room and the pool are absolutely stunning.
Rooms were nicely sized, has jacuzzi tubs on the balcony and felt like they were carved in to a cave. Super cool.
The breakfast that is included everyday is great. Order as much of whatever you want, prosecco, espresso, and tasty foods. I was able to stay on my diet with egg white omelettes and oat meal without issues.
Georgia and the entire concierge staff are what really sets this place apart. We were messaging them 24/7 in What’sqpp and they were making our dinner reservations, booking car rentals for us and anything else we could need.
The only thing that would make it better would be to have an on-site gym. I had to drive in to Fira each morning to Evexia to get workouts in.
It’s about a 10-15 minute walk up to the main strip of restaurants and shopping in Oia and about a 15-20 minute drive in to Fira.

I don't think they have rooms at Kirini without sea-view! All tghe hotel is built and oriented to tthe sunset side above the sea! You pay for the memories & the special feelings!

There was a mini refrigerator in our room. To make sure you can also email and ask them to provide you an extra one or a bigger unit. The staff are unbelievably hospitable and accommodating. You will be well taken care of during your stay. Have fun!

Yes and yes! I took my wife there on her 50th birthday and couldn't have wished for more... The view from the hotel is stunning and you get a great sunset view. The hotel is on the edge of Santorinin which is where you want to be as you get to take in the whole of the town together with the sunset. The walk into town is no more than 5 -10 mins depending on how fast you walk. I can't recommend this hotel enough... the staff are wonderful as well...
