We stayed here last week and had the most unbelievable honeymoon. We booked a honeymoon suite which was beautiful, and spotless with the most amazing views. The staff were so friendly, we ate at the
hotel restaurant one night and they made me a special non-alcoholic shot to give with my husband's after dinner as I am pregnant which was sweet. They also gave us a free plate of easter goodies as it was Greek Easter while we were staying, honestly went above and beyond. Would definitely recommend. There were a lot of steps to the room but it was so worth it to feel so secluded where we were and the complex was kept spotless 24/7. The hotel is in an amazing location right next to the main Oia street so once you had made all the steps you were basically in the centre of all the shops and restaurants. Would definitely recommend and will return if we ever stay in Santorini again.

We stayed for three nights in a suite. It had two beautiful bathrooms (with wonderful shower), a large dining/living room and a separate double bedroom, as well a balcony overlooking the sea (with sunset view) and jacuzzi. The location was ideal, being just outside the central pedestrian route in possibly the most beautiful part of the island, Oia. Everything about our accommodation was exceptional. But the factor that made it perfect and, frankly, unforgettable was the service. Led by a brilliant, young and very talented front of house (Hara) every member of staff we encountered during our stay was warm, professional and brilliant. We felt at home from the moment we arrived and dreaded leaving. No request was too big or small. Forget any negative review about the noise and smell you might have read. If you are lucky enough to be able to stay here, grab the opportunity with open arms.

We had an amazing time at Fanari villas. The view is amazing and the location couldn’t be better. It’s close to the Oía castle, the famous blue dome churches and restaurants. Around 6 pm everybody is looking for the perfect spot to watch the sunset while we we watching from our balcony; the villas are private so tourist won’t disturb you during the sunset. We stayed at the junior suite and it was spacious and clean. The breakfast is good and has a lot of variety. The pool is nice but the water is a little bit cold. The hotel provided fresh fruits and a bottle of wine at our arrival. They also gave us a complimentary drink when we got there. Something to keep in mind is that you get 15% off at their restaurant and their food is very good.

First of all, let’s be clear. You pay to stay here for the view, and what a view it is! The world famous sunset view here is just unbelievable, but the streets overlooking the sunset in Oia are uncomfortably packed with tourists vying for the best spot from which to view it from two hours before. It was an absolute delight to be able to squeeze past the crowds and settle down on our own private terrace to enjoy it with a glass of chilled wine.

We stayed in the executive suite, which had its own private west-facing terrace. Our room looked directly down over the communal sun lounger area, and as this was completely empty in the evenings this also felt private, so we decided to watch our sunsets from there. Each room has its own plunge pool/jacuzzi, and there is a communal swimming pool. As this was seldom used by any other guest, it also felt like our own private pool.

The room itself is built in the style of a luxury cave. However, having paid around €1000 per night we would have expected a better standard of accommodation and service. The room itself felt a bit shabby and unloved, and it also smelt fusty. The beds/pillows were lumpy and hard. The room service was not very good. We had no bin in our room, and I had to ask four times over two days before a bin was finally provided!

The jacuzzi was not as advertised. On the website the photos show our jacuzzi to be white and smooth, but in reality it was grey/brown and pebbly, which made it feel dirty and put us off using it (see photos attached). We could have made quite a complaint about this as we felt this was false advertising, but having almost sole access to the pool and terrace for sunset views we decided to overlook this in the end.

The position of this hotel is wonderful, but from our room we could see other hotels with the same view that looked better appointed. If we came back to Oia we would choose one of those instead.

We absolutely loved everything about this hotel. It is a magical setting, steps inside the bustling village of Oia. Hotel room had a lovely deck overlooking the sunset and bay. We ate dinner at the restaurant multiple times, delicious, amazing servers and it has to be the best view of the sunset in Oia in a relaxed setting! Breakfast was a buffet, fresh, fantastic, cook comes out and closely monitors and replaces immediately. Staff here made everything happen four stay. Arranged a car, gave great suggestions for tours as well as hustled our luggage up the steps to the hotel. Hotel room has a small kitchen with fridge, mini market just up the stairs for drinks etc, steps down to Bay. We will be back and I highly recommend this boutique hotel.

Last week, my wife and I enjoyed a sunset dinner in the Fanari Villas restaurant. We were not hotel guests there. The restaurant has a fabulous lication, overlooking the caldera and the town of Oia. Unlike the hotel, it is reasonably priced (about €100 for two, including two apetizers, two main courses, one desert and two glasses of wine). The food was very good, albeit not extraordinary. Highly recommended for a romantic dinner.

We enjoyed our stay at Fanari Villas! The view of the sunset from our outdoor patio was priceless! The authentic cave style of the villa allowed us to immerse into Santorini culture💙🤍 We got there during some strong cold winds so were not able to utilize the outdoor refreshing whirlpool but still got to enjoy the views from multiple spots on our patio and terrace! The location was great to walk right into the town of Oia through a path of multiple stair alleyways.

The Fanari team completely enhanced our fond memories of Santorini. Costas was a warm welcome and helped answer many of our questions. Rina was always friendly and helpful and even gave us a wonderful suggestions for one of our day adventures. We greatly appreciate that as we would not have found that spot without her recommendation! Katarina and Vladimire where also kind and knowledgeable each time we interacted with them! I missed getting the name of the waiter that served us our front row sunset dinner but he was great and also took a picture for us right at sunset!

We enjoyed being spoiled with breakfast in our villa one morning and enjoyed the breakfast buffet at the restaurant the other mornings. The breakfasts and dinners we had were all fantastic. I was excited to surprise my husband with the additional package add-on of fresh flowers, fruits, chocolates and champagne when we arrived. It's not something I usually do so it was really a fun treat and Fanari did not disappoint with that addition! We even had rose petals on the floor in the villa when we got there! They also added some extra fabulous Santorini love to all that luxury🍷.

We were there in the middle of November and although the winds and rain did limit some of our activity choices, the crowds were minimal and there were plenty of shops and restaurants still open. We would choose this way every time.

Thank you Fanari Villas and your wonderful team for our Santorini experience!!
✨💙🤍🇬🇷✨

A luxury accommodation in Oia that really made an excellent impression on me! Firstly the staff is very kind and informs you about everything! Secondly When you enter the room you immediately notice how much attention has been paid to the detail! Very clean room with an incredibly nice view!! Jacuzzi to make your hydromassage and a great balcony to admire the caldera at your comfort!! Good wine to relax and the room is fully equipped! There is an iron and ironing board in the room and even natural sponges in the bathroom!! For everything refer to quality and luxury!! Fanari Villas is made with love and it shows!!! A big advantage is the large pool of the hotel!! We will definitely prefer it again!!!

Fantastic location, beautiful accommodations and spectacular views.
Our small villa had our own jacuzzi pool, small but perfect for two, from which we could enjoy the majestic sunsets from.
The restaurant was very good, al fresh food that was prepared masterfully. We tried most everything in their menu, delicious!
Breakfast was included in our stay, eggs, crepes, ham and sausage plus all kind of cheese and cold cuts, really fresh Greek yogurt with local honey and an array of nuts and dried fruit. Large assortment of breads and pastries, every morning they had one local specialty, which was fun to try.
If you are planning a trip to Santorini, this hotel is a must.

The location is unbeatable! The staff are extremely helpful and responsive before, during and after the stay. All the staff were excellent starting from the reception with all the matters including the reservations, changes, organization of transfer, etc., bell boys who were very kind to meet us at the parking lot and take care of our luggage, restaurant staff who provide great service and dining experience and maids. Kudos to all!!!

The rooms were excellent though the choice of decoration may be subjective, but it did not bother us at all. The pool was rather less impressive, but it did not bother us either as the pool was always empty and we were there alone all the time like we had our private pool, though we did not want to disturb other guests when there was a massage session. It is also a little bit expensive, but it was August!
