Best views in Oia, Santorini! They have multiple properties so you have to read and pick carefully. They have three rooms/suites in the Oia view category that have the best views. A fourth in the same area is luxurious but diff views. Then they have Castle view etc. Service was great. They were available via Whatsapp. Plunge pools do not really work in winter since they remain cold but it was nice having one. We were lucky to get good weather and no crowds since it was the end of the season. Highly recommend.

Our guide, Tony, is so kind. When we arrived early during unseasonably cold weather he prepared an unused suite for us to stay in for half a day although it created extra work for him. He and his staff were helpful and responsive throughout our stay. The views at our villa may have been the best in all of Greece and our family is left with memories we’ll hold forever. Thank you!

This place is absolutely amazing. The view is one of, if not the best is Oia. People we above us (couldn’t see you while you were in the cave pool though) taking photos of the area. We did the Superior Cave Suite which I can’t recommend enough. The room is MASSIVE and has a large outdoor seating area. The price here is very reasonable compared to other areas in santorini. It is not a hotel, so there is not an on-site staff, but they always come and clean the areas amazingly and are responsive if you need anything. It’s a perfect location to everything and again, the VIEWS. Book here and you will not regret it! Tip: Book end of May. The prices are much cheaper before the busy season in June. The temperature says it is only 68-70 degrees, but if it was any warmer I think we would be miserable. We travel to beaches a lot and were worried about the temps but I think 68 felt warmer than 85 in the Caribbean!

Liked · The view was uncomparable to any other place, very beautiful indeed. I love the "little" private space you have when you take pictures with the three blue domes in the background. Santorini is a very busy place. Tons of tourists. So when you look up from the terrace, you would see clumps of people all tryna take pictures of the same thing. But staying in this hotel gave us the power to just have a little private space of ourselves, taking beautiful pictures and without bumping into anyone.
Disliked · 1) I arranged a semi private transfer from the Port (provided by Sophia Oia). We waited 30 mins and our driver never came. So we just arranged another transfer from another company, it was a waste of time. They couldn't deliver their transfer services. 2) Breakfast was meh. I ordered breakfast thinking it would come arranged on a beautiful tray just like the ones you see on every other hotels. But I got my breakfast delivered in a bunch of to-go boxes. The staff was wonderful though, it's just not what I had expected for such an expensive hotel. I didn't like how for the price paid, breakfast is not even included. And as exciting as we were we still ordered breakfast and paid extra. But boy their breakfast was so boring, it could've been so much better. I understand that food would come from another location but as simple as arranging them before giving it out to the customers would go a long way. 3) Rooms aren't the cleanest too. There were molds in the bathroom and some of the walls were chipped. Although it doesn't matter for the stay, but it has a huge impact being that this is such an expensive booking. For the price, you would expect the best and the cleanest. 4) I had to keep asking to change the temperature of the pool, we couldn't do it ourselves. One of the maintenance guy always has to adjust it. It proposed as an inconvenience. 5) On the last night of our stay, the wifi died on us. There were so many things that went wrong during our stay.
View was unbeatable, but I probably wouldn't go back here.

The location is excellent.. loved the private plunge pool and the view is phenomenal. It was expensive, but for the views and pool, it was ok.. What completely soured the stay however was the staff’s refusal to refund the cost of a transfer we booked through them. Their credit card machine was not connecting to the wifi so we paid cash. The credit card charge did however go through. We were promised it would be refunded, but then they stopped communicating with me about it.. We are still waiting for that refund, despite multiple messages with proof of the double charge.. just really unethical.. So the hotel itself is great, just don’t book anything else through them.. and you can only communicate with staff via WhatsApp.. there is no reception..

I’ve submitted my complaint today regarding high in pool which didn’t allow me to enjoy it m enjoy fully during morning and evening. One of the highlights apart from the view which is amazing was the pool which I was verbally told was heated, however, it was too hot and despite my request to lower temperature My request was not solved at all. I will wait and see how they deal with my request. An expensive accommodation, I’m they could have done better in this respect. Other details in the accommodation were up to a very good standard.

Sofia Oia View not only met but exceeded expectations! We stayed here to celebrate a birthday and the view was exceptional. The ease of access to everything was incredible, and we felt like celebrities being able to scoot past the lines to take pictures of the Calderas to walk down to our beautiful cave room. We took so many incredible photos with the stunning backdrop of the calderas that you can only get access to by staying in the beautiful Sophia Oia cave suites. The recommendations given were phenomenal, with great food and drink that we enjoyed each day and night of our stay. If you are able to, come visit this once and a lifetime spot for the incredible hospitality and unforgettable views!

I was really looking forward to staying at Sophia Luxury Suites for my anniversary, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. The biggest issue was the lack of privacy—our room was in a high-traffic area with tourists constantly passing by. At one point, a group of men openly stared at me while I was sunbathing, which made me extremely uncomfortable. The hotel never mentioned that privacy would be an issue for the rooms in this area, and I believe this is crucial information that should be disclosed upfront for guests to make informed decisions.
The room itself didn’t feel luxurious despite the high price. It had more of an Airbnb vibe than a premium hotel, and while the view was beautiful, the overall quality didn’t justify the cost. Communication was also poor—the hotel was difficult to find, and there was no easy way to contact staff, as they don’t have a front desk. We wasted a lot of time trying to get assistance and even missed a planned activity because of this.
Ultimately, the experience was so disappointing that we only stayed the first night and forfeited the other two nights we had booked. I wouldn’t recommend this property for anyone seeking a truly relaxing and private stay. While the views are nice, they’re not worth the price or the hassle.

Wow. We stayed 5 nights and the views, location, room, and service were all excellent! The hotel general manager Konstantinos is very helpful and available via WhatsApp to assist with rental cars, dinner reservations, and anything else you may need.
If you’re into nature walks the Fira to Oia Trail is a must. It is 6.5 miles along the Caldera and takes 4 hours.
The sunset catamaran the hotel books is the best. Semi private with only 8 passengers on a luxury catamaran with crew and chef.
The Greek Wedding Show in Thira is also amazing.
Santo Winery is also a must. Their dessert wine Vinsanto 8 years aged is amazing!

Truly a wonderful place to stay. Our Bue was the best you could get of the castle ruins and the sunset. Our room was magnificent with every amenity you could want. The most wonderful
Part is that there is a mobile concierge that contacted us daily . Her name was Angie. She came to us each day to help us with anything we needed. Got us into restaurants when reservations were not available when we tried. She made recommendations not only for restaurants but for boat trips , where the best stores and breakfast spots were. We will recommend anyone that asks about our trip to Santorini to Sophia Castle View
