The hotel is full of interesting corners, rooms, courtyards and antiques, paintings, artefacts etc. A lovely place. And the restaurant was very good too, one or two excellent dishes. Breakfast was top notch too

Wonderful hotel built in 1715 that has been modernized but retains almost all its original character. Service is formal but beyond reproach in any way. Rooms are large, comfortable, character filled and many overlook the main square. The inner courtyard (used by the restaurant) is a wonder grotto of perfectly cared for greenery complete with a Roman era mosaic in...

I spent in this hotel few night as the other hotel I usually staying in were fully booked and have to tell that was very good choice. Is is old holding I small city which is very calm and relaxing. Hotel has big rooms design to not to look like hotel rooms. Interior design bring in memory 19thcentury (or even...

Stayed here as part of a group on a business trip. Easy enough to find but not sure where you park as we came by bus but was advised by someone who had stayed before to avoid the market place if market day is the next day as you may find yourself blocked in! The décor of the place is...

We arrived on friday night (room rates are €85 to €115) and the conversation went in french as follows: "Do you have double room for tonight" answer of the owner: "You can only have the room of €115 or else you can drive on and after 5km you can find a cheaper hotel". This was in one sentence on a...

This was recommended in a reputable guide but we found it over priced and disappointing, mainly because of the chilly manner of staff and the extraordinarily flavourless cuisine. Our food tasted watery and blank and the disdainful water informed us that we might find a bottle of wine too big for 2. Rooms were rather cramped and dark and breakfast...

Nice hotel with great interior. Bedroom a little cramped but nicely decorated. Typically French, i.e. no wash basin in the WC. Food in restraint was ok but not gastronomic. Service was pleasant but slow because of lack of staff. Staff were helpful if we had a request.

The staff was very wonderful and helpful. I didn't get a chance to see the town, but you'll get a good night sleep because the streets are empty after 7 pm. I think you will enjoy your stay here. I know that I did.

My wife and I stayed here for two nights, separated by two nights in Paris. It doesn't look much from the outside but inside it is a real delight. Very nice old building with lovely interior design. It would be considered a boutique hotel in the UK. We had different rooms on both nights and both were lovely (the brown...

The lobby, courtyard, bedroom, everything was very well decorated. Very friendly atmosphere. We borrowed bicycles from the owners and had a lovely ride around. Again the purpose of my stay was to escape from Paris with my boyfriend and we took the train which was very convenient.
