Several weeks ago, we reserved 2 nights at the Hotel Le Bon Accueil with it's Michelin 1 Star Restaurant. At the beginning the hotel was fully booked but then an electronic email came and stated they had a room for the 2 nights. When we arrived and were shown our room and I asked if they had booked the restaurant?...

We stayed here a couple of years ago and were very impressed. On this visit we had a nice enough room, fine for a three star hotel, and a friendly welcome plus a decent breakfast. What disappointed us was the dinner which seemed to lack the creativity of our first visit. In particular, the Grand Desert has become less ambitious,...

We arranged to stay at Le Bon Accueil as a stopover on our way to the south of France. It is in a beautiful location -a very peaceful but interesting village overlooking a lake in the foothills of the mountains. It must be lovely in the snow but it is beautiful in the summer - ideal for walking and boating....

A very nice, highly recommendable family owned Restaurant and Hotel in the lovely upper Doubs area of the French Jura near Pontarlier. You will love the excellent high quality local food, which is prepared by the Chef Marc Faivre to perfection! Choose also a great typical local Arbois wine for your meal, recommanded by Catherine Faivre. Do not forget to...

We were nicely welcomed at the restaurant. Good advise from the owner about the menu and wines. The langoustine-asparagus dish was outstanding, the fera very good and perfectly cooked, and so was the original chocolate dessert. The chef manage to give the best of relatively simple ingredients. The wine list has a good selection with affordable prices. Cost performance is...

Stayed here for one night on a trip through the Jura. It is on the (quiet) road through Malbuisson so is easy to find and park. The rooms looked good on the web site and were certainly spacious, comfortable, warm (it was snowing) and well lit. The bathroom was newly done. My only complaint about the room was that we...
