We have stayed in quite a few Bed and Breakfasts over the years and I would rate Les Egrignes or Chateau de Cult it's other name as amongst the best . Our room Camelia was wonderful . There was a large bedroom full of antiques with even a walk in cupboard for clothes and a very comfortable bed . There... More

We booked and paid for two nights but decided to stay only one as despite very comfortable accommodation and a good breakfast as we found we were subject to old style boarding house rules and regulations as soon as we arrived. No wearing of shoes on the stairs or in the bedrooms. No sitting on specific antique furniture in the... More

Beautiful rooms, lovely setting. We stayed in the Les Iris room. Even the extra bed in the corner (between the window and fireplace in the photos on her website) was very comfortable. Breakfast was very good - croissants, jam, yogurt, OJ, fruit, etc. When Fabienne recommends you bring your slippers, she isn't joking! She does not allow shoes inside. If... More

We stayed at this outstanding chateau this past month and had a very enjoyable time. Fabienne is so kind and helpful and makes you feel right at home. The chateau is beautifully decorated and the breakfasts are amazing. Fabienne also made special arrangements for her friend Patrick to make dinner for us at his home and that was also fantastic.... A real château at extremely affordable rates. My suite even had a parlour. Immaculate bedclothes, great furniture. The house itself is amazing, takes you back to pre Downton Abbey times. The château interiors in Disney's animated film Beauty and The Beast could have been inspired by Les Egrignes, silver included. Service is outstanding, attention to detail complete with great conversation.... More

First of all this hotel is highly recommended. I stayed in 100+ accomodations so far and this one is really worth to come back again. I stayed there for 2 nights during the Tour de France 2012 and I really liked it. Unfortunately I spend the whole time at the Tour and did not have had much time to enjoy... More

We stayed here with our adult son for one night on our way from Paris to Lucerne. The chateau was beautiful both inside and out. Fabienne has excellent taste in decor. The gardens were an absolute delight. We only stayed one night and wished we had had more time. We had a lovely breakfast the next morning before leaving for... More

We spent a week at "Les Egrignes" with my wife and 12-year-old son and we have excellent memories of the place, the environment but most prominently of the very warm personality of our host, Ms. Fabienne Lego, who adds a personal touch to your stay and constantly ensures that everything is according to her guests' needs. The property is situated... More
