The beach it self is really nice. When we were there it was almost deserted. Feels safe and you can buy a good lunch from one the hotel at the beachside. The tide makes it hard to get a good swim at midday, but mornings and evenings are great. I think it's the same everywhere on the island. Also there is seaweed, not a problem really. If there is a lot of wind/vawes there can also be some on the beach. But even then it's not a problem. Enjoy your stay!
