This is my second trip to Nedile Lodge and I thought the first time was fantastic, but our second visit has exceeded all expectations. The hosts, General Managers and guides John and Dominique, could not have done more for us. The food, the dining experiences...More
We were pleasantly surprised to meet Nedile’s new management team, John and Dominique who made us feel at home the minute we walked in. The lodge seems to have undergone a good spring clean and the rooms looked fresh and lovely with thick new towels....More

Nedile Lodge is unfortunately not a kids friendly establishment and we have a 10 years old minimum policy. It is situated in Welgevonden Game Reserve with no electric fences around it. Elepants come and drink water at the swimming pool and roam freely around the rooms. We also have leopard around. We prefer to be truly part of nature without artificual fencing. There are, however, other lodges in Welgevonden that are fenced and that can accommodate kids.

October is usually quite hot already - I would suggest comfortable summer clothes and maybe a sweater for the evening game drives. Other than that, nothing specific - what ever you are comfortable in. :)
