My husband and I spent 15 nights here over the Christmas period, we loved it for a variety’s of reasons. The apartment was spacious, bright, well equipped and spotless clean. It was cleaned daily with frequent change of linen and towels, pool/beach towels are provided if required. A car hire is helpful, there are a few restaurants , supermarkets and lovely beaches very nearby. There is a takeaway menu in the room (Creole Fusion) we used it 5 times, reasonable prices, amazing food, delivered on time and hot. It feels very safe with easy entry security system, also the owners are resident which is reassuring. The location and surrounding environment is stunning with well kept gardens and pool area. What makes this place really stand out is the incredible level of customer service. The owners ( Mary’s & Joe) and all the staff are friendly, professional and genuinely out to please, nothing is too much trouble. I would 100% recommend this place, go ahead and book it, there are not many places like this left.

A wonderful place to stay! Great location, but I would recommend renting a car. Super clean, extremely nice people and staff. Only seven apartments, so cozy and just great! With everything your heart desires. Pool, kitchen, and so on. You can order food and if you bring fish, they will even prepare it. Next door is a small waterfall and a river. And you are a little way up a hill and have a view of the sea. Super beautiful sunsets. We will definitely come back.

Our stay at Bambous River Lodge was very good. The place is perfect for a relaxing holiday. There are a little stream on one side and mountains on the other side, with a lot of greeneries around. Enjoyed thoroughly the mornings with the mountain view and music of the water falling down the stream. It's a self catering place, which may appear difficult initially. But every thing is very well organized. There is a nice little kitchen, with fridge, microwave etc. We were given tea/coffee, milk, juice etc to start with. Dinner can be delivered to the room easily. There are some stores nearby to buy groceries. The owner is very helpful and can organize anything the guests need. I would like to stay here again in future.

We spent unforgettable 17 days of vacation in the Bambous River Lodge . Since we were guests for the first time 2019, we already knew before departure what great location an hospitality will await us. The apartments are well equipped, clean and well mantained. The same applies to the outdoor facilities maintained by the great staff, thanks especially to Nissad who prepares tasty curry dishes next do. Above all, we would like to thank the owner Maries, who gave us a wonderful and unforgettable holiday with a helpful and friendly manner and her organisation. Best place to stay, so quiet and nice. very good service, cleaning every day. Everyone who worked was very nice and helpful, always did the little extra to make it all good. Wanted to send an extra star to Adjed who always made sure we were fine, came with extra umbrella when there was a lot of rain and we had been shopping, although it was about 10 meters to our door from the parking lot. The owner Maryese (don't know if I spelled the name correctly) was very helpful and nice, informed us of different places to visit. She was very familiar and caring. They gave us cucumbers and other assorted vegetables from time to time from their garden. They always asked if we needed anything. Nice with own kitchen and it was large and spacious bedroom, plenty of drawers and shelves, the bed was king size a little hard but perfectly ok. The bathroom was large and clean. Walking distance to a little smaller beach and about 10 min to the nearest grocery store. We rented a car the whole time we were here. We stayed here for 23 days and will book here again if we return to Seychelles

We have visited these appartments with friends in Feb 2025. Reallity is even better than on pics. The owner is the sweetest we've ever met. Always smile, kindhearted, welcomed, gives a lot of usuful information. The area is too nice, no noice, clean, jungles are everywhere and even little waterfal is near. We spent 9 nights here, and we couldn't be happier. We were able to check in earlier, as our apartment was available at the time we arrived (before midday). The apartment was large for the two of us. The pictures you find online are a real reflection of what you encounter when you check in. The swimming pool was one of the best parts, as while you relax, you had the chance to enjoy the beautiful view and see some bats flying around, close to the fruit trees outside the property. It was absolutely amazing. The staff kindly cleaned our apartment every day. There are three shops (or mini markets) nearby, where you could get groceries. I think it took us less than 10 minutes to walk to the nearest one. This place is very close to Bel Ombre beach. We didn't like that beach very much, so we rented a car and moved freely around the island. There is plenty of space to park your car there, so that's one thing you should not worry about. Internet connection was great every single day. I highly recommend this place.

We stayed as a family in the 1 bedroom apartment for 14 days. The rooms are very clean and the service is outstanding. Everything is helped and everyone is friendly and courteous. We had a wonderful holiday there and felt at home. We will definitely come back and have already recommended this accommodation to many people.

We stayed in this apartment for a week in November and were overwhelmed by its beauty, hospitality and service..Its got amenities that is usually available in a hotel in addition to what you would expect from a serviced apartment. Its brand new, squeaky squeaky clean and provides the best house keeping service. We stayed there with our children who are 2 and 1 year old, and felt a homely experience, having absolutely no issues staying with young kids. The kitchen is fully equipped. You will find all the utensils you would even need to prepare your meals. The property also has everything a traveler would need during their stay, starting from hair drier, iron and even a safety locker. What really makes this apartment stand apart is the outstanding service offered by Ms. Maryse and her husband Mr. Joe. They were extremely helpful in calling places and planning our trips to the nearby island Pasline and La Digue. They also offered us rides to Victoria and took us to the Jetty to commence our trip. I would like to thank Ms. Maryse for sitting with me making plans and also proving me with tips to attractions. They offered us delicious fruits and king coconut from their garden right into our apartment. And refilled them every time its consumed. The apartment also has a toilet spray which comes in handy for Asians. I could go on and on praising this apartment for what it offers to its guests.
Few other tips. 1. Hire a car during your stay. This will save you a lot of money. (Ms.Maryse arranged us a car for a good price and good condition) 2. The closest town with restaurants and shops is in 10 minutes walking distance. In car, it would take you few minutes 3. Beau Vallon beach is few minutes walk from the apartment 4. For money change, there is an exchange at Beau Vallon (Cash plus) or many at Victoria town. We found Doubleclick exchange at Victoria town offering the best rates. 5. Restaurants are usually pricey and mostly offers Creole food. For Asians, there is Copper pot at Beau Vallon (not so great though) and Coco Dor (Italian food, not bad)
I have recommended this place to my friends who are planning to visit Seychelles. NOTE: Book directly with the hotel to get 10% discount from normal rate and also free pickup from airport. The WIFI at the apartment is very good.

Hi Andrew
For a couple, one of our Studio apartments would be what you are looking for. This unit is situated at garden level and is priced at Euro 160 per night. Continental breakfast including eggs can be provided at Euro 10 per person. The Studio is fully fitted with its own kitchen.
There are eating places within 15min walk of our site but we would recommend hiring a car. Cost is in the region of Euro 35 per day.
Bicycles are not available for hire on Mahe Island.
