Thank you to The Palm Seychelles team. My wife and I travelled to Seychelles for our 20 year anniversary. Hotels can get very expensive in Seychelles. For the price and quality of this facility I give 10/10. From the first phone call, to booking confirmation, arrival/check in, to check out we felt very well cared for. Especially Rosita made our welcome and stay feel like home. She and the team made sure all of our room equipment's were in proper order, the room was cleaned every day and explained things to do on the Island. Also, the location is excellent as its relatively close to the beach, great restaurants, and supermarkets. My kids also loved the small but very clean pool. If we are ever back in Seychelles definitely, we are staying at The Palm Seychelles. Thank you for making our occasion a very memorable one.

I have just returned from The Palm Seychelles and I miss the place so much. I stayed with my other group there again. Rosita and her team always do maximum to make an excellent stay for us. The appartments are always superclean, located just few minutes walk away from the nearest beach and a supermarket.

The Palm Seychelles is set back from the main road and sits in its own gated grounds. The rooms are large and comfortable and offer a kitchen, living room and two bedroom / bathrooms. A large balcony gives you fantastic views and a nice space to relax on.

The apartment is fairly modern and well maintained. It has a shared swimming pool and a car park. While the apartment is located not too far from the beach, you will need a car to get around as the walk up and down will be tiring.

The most satisfying part of our stay was the brilliant staff who between them were warm, friendly, helpful and very accommodating. We had the breakfast option and were pleased with the offerings each morning.

Rosita and her team are doing a brilliant job and we would be more then happy to return. For the price they charge I think this is definitely an option to consider.

We had booked a luxurious hotel with half board as part of an "Exclusive Island Trio in the Seychelles" with the tour operator Neon-Reisen, arranged through Secret Escapes.
The "Hotel Palm Seychelles" does not match its website.
When we were greeted, we were told that the restaurant could not be used at the moment due to renovation work. In fact, however, this alleged hotel has neither a restaurant nor a chef. It is purely self-catering accommodation. When we asked, we were told that meals are not common here.
Instead of food from the hotel kitchen or the alternative of a private catering service with the best of Creole cuisine, we were given simple, inedible takeaway food on the balcony: chicken in pieces and whole, rice from the microwave and disgusting ice cream in a paper cup. We drank water; alcohol is not served here. The leftover food and dishes were still on the balcony the next day when we left.
The promised breakfast by the pool or terrace was served on the balcony of another apartment. Dry croissants, cheap sliced cheese, sausages in plastic wrap and instant coffee! Absolutely depressing.
The advertised world-class service is not there.
The pool is tiny and dirty.
After 6 p.m., no work is carried out in the complex! Rositha (receptionist) was no longer available for us and our complaints - not even on the emergency cell phone number.
The complaints were rejected without understanding and promises were not kept.
Due to a lack of remedy, we moved to another hotel on our own initiative and at our own expense.
Even on site - immediately after the defects were discovered - Neon-Reisen did not respond to our complaints, explanations and indications of defects. In the context of asserting claims for compensation, Neon-Reisen is now rejecting these on the grounds that we did not fulfill our obligation to report defects.
We cannot recommend either the accommodation or the tour operator.

This property is tucked back into a local area and is a pretty long drive to the main beach area (it's difficult to find at night). Rooms are big, but everything is dated / well worn and in need of replacement. House keeping is not great. We found 2 cockroaches and did not use our second shower since it was infested with flies.

The biggest problem with this property is managements unwillingness to be flexible. Specifically we had our airline switch our flight (at no fault of our own) requiring us to check out a day early. I notified the property a week in advance of the change, they referred me to the booking platform, and ultimately refused to refund me for my last night. I understand times have been difficult for vacation properties, but it's discouraging to see a management company that does not understand how the travel industry works these days.

Property is ok. There's better locations in the area for similar pricing, so I would recommend looking elsewhere.

Dear Charlotte, Thank you for taking time to write an unfair review expressing your disappointment mainly due to the fact that The Palm Seychelles was unable to refund the one day that you could not stay. We need to set the records straight. At The Palm Seychelles, we pride ourselves on giving a good service and value for your money, whilst doing our best to maintain and keep our accommodation clean at all times. It was our representative Lamiya who checked you in at 7:30pm on Friday 6th May. Lamiya accompanied you and inspected the apartment throughout in your presence, including both bathrooms. The place was extreme clean and without dead cockroaches or flies. You never once complained of such matter during the inspection or during your stay. Seychelles has a humid and warm tropical climate. We do have such insects, including gecko around. They are all harmless when alive or dead. We do apply treatments around our place and it is possible these could have appeared after your checked in, but were found dead on the floor by you, due to the treatments that we use. We understand that such pests are not normal when you come from cooler climes and can be alarming to guests like yourselves. Again they are harmless and not uncommon in any accommodation in Seychelles ! It is clearly evident that your negative review is the result of the Online Travel Agent (OTA) refusing to refund you for the one day, because you had to leave early due to airline changing their schedule. You did call at our reception to seek a refund during your stay, our representative, Rosita did again inform you that you had to seek this from the OTA. I can also confirm you did contact us for a refund some 10days prior to your arrival, to try and seek the one day refund. We advised you to contact the OTA because you had booked through them and they had your money which we will only receive (less their commission) after your departure. At that time you could have cancelled your entire stay with the OTA, 10 days before arriving. After cancelling you could have rebook with one day less. Again you should have done that before arriving at our place, when it was clearly too late for the OTA to entertain such change. Whilst we understand your frustration and sympathise with you for loosing out on one day, we feel your review is rather unfair and unjustified, especially when you compare your review to the historical comments we’ve received thus far. We take this opportunity to wish you well and hope you can recover your one day stay from either the airline or the OTA. Warm Regards, The Palm Seychelles Team

We loved our stay here. Rosita was very welcoming and always willing to help out in arranging taxis, side trips or just some local advice on getting around

Great view of the hills nearby and just a 10 min walk to Beau Vallon beach with grocery stores on the way, if you need supplies. A bus stop is around the corner if you need to pop into Victoria for the ferry or bigger shops (about 20 mins away)

The nearby hotels have some great restaurants if you want to eat out and the scenic trek to Anse Major is worth it for the stunning scenery but wear some decent shoes

Highly recommended

the palm was the first stay for our vacation in Mahe, and all the tiredness of the flight just disappeared the moment we saw the apartment. open, airy, well lit, fully equipped..just felt like a home away from home..
Also, the lady caretaker was a delight to interact with..Cristne was very helpful and a great guide..
The place is waling distance from the popular beau vallon beach and the nearby supermarkets, church..

highly recommend for family stays..

PS: one day we were waiting for the bus in the afternoon..the owner saw us and gave a lift to the victoria city center..

Very nice, clean and well equipped apartments and villas with pools. 5 minutes by car from Beau Vallon beach where you can find a bars and restaurants. Breakfast was little simpler but very tasty, fresh fruit was always served as the first course and eggs prepared in different ways as the main course. The lady or the house was very pleasant and helpful. Accommodation is suitable for both couples and families with children

I cannot begin to describe what an amazing experience it was to stay at The Palm Seychelles hotel. The location is great, a 10-15 minute drive to Victoria. The apartment itself is in GREAT conditions. It all looks new and incredibly clean. The apartment itself is spacious and stocked with all the cooking utensils you will need.
However, the best part of staying here was the people. Rosita, Lamiya and Janice light up your day with their smiles and hospitality. They are always watching out for your needs and go an extra ten miles for you.
I actually tested positive at the end of my trip and had to quarantine there. Rosita came to visit and check up on me every day. At some point I wanted to connect my phone to the TV so that I could watch Netflix and Lamiya went on her free time looking for an adapter, bought it for me and allowed me to pay her back afterwards. I was constantly offered clean sheets and towels and they even offered to do some groceries for me,
Truly a wonderful experience. I have recommended it to all of my friends.

This place is TERRIBLE and they are racist !! There is mold, the apartments look like something out of an old western movie. The elder woman at the front desk, she only cares about the levy tax that u have to pay, she does not welcome you and she treats "other" guest with respect. the towels are CRUNCHY and hard because they don't put the towels in the dryer, they air dry them in the back of the apartments !!! avoid this place please !!!!

Dear Ashley, Thank you for your review. It''s a shame to read such an exaggerated and negative feedback about The Palm Seychelles. We always strive to maintain our property in a good and clean state. All staff on-site have been trained to always treats all our guests well and with respect. The environmental levy is a tax that has been introduced by the Government as at 1st August 2023. All tourism establishments have been instructed to collect this levy from guests, preferably in Seychelles Rupees. So far, all our guests have paid the levy without any fuss and complaints. From our investigation, it is clear this levy was the main reason for your frustrations. Finally, 99% of our guests has been extremely happy with their stay at The Palm Seychelles. Guests positive endorsements are evident through various historical reviews. Therefore, we can only conclude that you are purposely tarnishing the good name of The Palm Seychelles for reasons known to you only. Thank you,
