We really can't fault this beautiful place. Set in a natural amphitheatre half way up the Paul Valley, there are truly awesome views from the natural terrace where meals (delicious local produce) are served. The terrace also features the pool fed by a natural spring, where you can swim (in company with lots of little fish!) You walk down cobbled...

We were lucky to stay there in the middle of october and were enjoying our stay there a lot. Getting to location might be tricky. we missed the shared taxi (Aluguer) in Porto Novo as we were probably too excited to finally reach Santo Antao island. So we took the taxi. Nice drive on the coast of island with incredible...

We arrived here after coming from Mindelo. One of us was sick, so we couldnt hike but had to take some rest. They brought us tea that would help cure the gastronomical issues we both suffered. Yes the other one got sick too. We didnt want to leave before we actually did 1 hike and Claudio hooked us up with...

We stay two nights here and we loved this magic place. If you are looking for a place for relaxing between the nature in the middle of nowhere, this is your place. The staff is nice and the food is good. We would like to say thank you to Claudio for the great hospitality. We will be back.

Great and affordable eco lodges on top of a green hill located in the Paul valley, an hour away by foot from the village of Las Pombas, north east of Porto Novo in Santo Antao island. Great welcoming by Claudio and Carmelita, top natural swimming pool, very quiet area,... Top place for hiking-lovers!

Aldeia Manga is a place where you cannot escape relaxation. The formidable colour changing mountain that creates an epic backdrop to the guesthouse bathes you in the wonder of nature on a daily basis. The guesthouse itself is located high up in the valley surrounded by papaya trees, mango trees and colourful flowers and giant banana leaves. All of this...

My wife and I spent two nights at Aldeia Manga and loved it. The room was plain but comfortable. The views are great. The food was really a highlight. The cooks did a great job of accommodating my wife's dietary restrictions. Plenty of good food to enjoy. The staff helped arrange a great hike for us as well along the...

We had a wonderful and peaceful stay there during our time in Santo Antao. The view, arrangements and environment are breathtaking. The rooms are simple but very nice, and have a private terrace where you can dry your laundry and rest. Meal times are privileged moments where you can discuss with others about the hikes you had. The food was...

I stayed there with my husband on the holiday house "goiava" we love the place, everything there is simple, clean and comfortable. The receptionists are so kindly and they received us like a kings! The only thing that we hate there was the relation between cooks, (they don't know how to explain what they put on the foods fish or...

We stayed four nights in Aldeia Manga, at the Banana house end of December, beginning of January. It was a very calm change of the year for us! THE LOCATION Simply beautiful! Truly a little paradise! The area is full of sugar cane plantations, papayas, yam, and mango trees. An excellent setting for making magic photos! You cannot have enough...
